After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 631: Chapter 635 Leng Zimo Goes Berserk [1]

”Xiao Su, help her to Zimo’s room to rest for a bit.”

As Leng Lin gave the order, Xiao Su hurriedly supported Luo Xiaoqian’s arm, assisting her upstairs.

Standing in the living room and watching the two figures climb the stairs, the corners of Leng Lin’s lips uncontrollably curled upwards.

He had been somewhat skeptical when he heard from Leng Zirui that Luo Xiaoqian was pregnant, but witnessing her behavior now, he had come to believe that Leng Zirui’s words were not a deception.

”Old Leng?” Aunt Su came upstairs, ”Are we really not going to call a doctor?”

”No need,” Leng Lin said with a smile, shaking his head, ”Go make some light soup for her, she might be averse to greasy smells now that she’s pregnant. Use less oil...”

”Xiao Qian, she’s...?” Once Aunt Su heard this, her eyes shone, ”No wonder she started vomiting at just the smell of fish soup. When I was pregnant, I couldn’t stand the smell of fish either. I’ll cook her some plain porridge and mix in some appetizing cold dishes. She definitely won’t throw up.”

”Off you go then,” Leng Lin said with a chuckle as he went back to the dining room, lifting his own bowl of soup, still unable to suppress his smile.

Over the years, Leng Zimo had been giving him the cold shoulder. Leng Zirui had been away in other regions and it had only been in the past two years that he was transferred back to the Capital, now in charge of the entire Eagle Falcon Squad’s affairs, and rarely making it back home.

The house had always been quiet and empty, but now, with Leng Zimo about to get married and Xiao Qian pregnant, just thinking about the bustling household that awaited, how could Leng Lin not be happy?

As parents grow old, all they wish for is the joy of their children and grandchildren around them.

In a moment, Aunt Su already had the porridge and dishes ready, preparing to take them upstairs.

”Wait a moment!” Leng Lin called out to her in haste, ”Xiao Qian doesn’t want us to know about her pregnancy yet, don’t let it slip!”

”Got it,” Aunt Su replied with a smile and turned upstairs, arriving at Leng Zimo’s room.

Luo Xiaoqian was leaning on the pillow, browsing the news on her mobile phone.

Aunt Su stepped forward, placing the food she was carrying on the table and then sat down beside Luo Xiaoqian, ”Eat something, you need to bolster your nutrition during this period.”

”What period?” Luo Xiaoqian looked up, puzzled.

Realizing her slip, Aunt Su put the tray on her lap and quickly covered up, ”Ah... What I meant was, you... you just released a new album and there’s a lot of promotional activities, right? You need to keep up with your nutrition. You’re so slim, don’t wear yourself out!”

”Thank you, Aunt Su.” Luo Xiaoqian didn’t think too much of it, setting her phone aside and picking up the bowl of porridge, ”Don’t worry about me being slim; I have muscles. Just now... I guess it was because it’s hot today and I was stuck in traffic for quite a while, but I’m fine, don’t worry.”

Taking what she said as an attempt to hide her pregnancy, Aunt Su rolled her eyes but didn’t expose her. Noticing the phone on her lap, she quickly snatched it away, ”You young people, always so reckless. Radiation from the phone is bad for the fetus...”

”Fetus?” Luo Xiaoqian set down her bowl of porridge she was bringing to her mouth, ”Aunt Su, you don’t think I’m pregnant, do you?”

”No, no, of course not, I misspoke, I meant it’s bad for the womb. Girls need to take care of it, especially since you’ll want to have children in the future. Don’t go eating too much cold food just because it’s hot outside. Women are naturally more yin, and eating too much cold food can lead to an imbalance and affect your health, particularly leading to a cold womb. You really have to be careful!”
