After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 637: Chapter 641: Father Leng’s Mood【2】

Leng Zimo took the items Aunt Su handed him, sat in the front seat, and immediately gave the command.

”Drive!”

Xiao Liu in no way delayed, promptly drove the car out of the courtyard, and headed towards the nearby hospital where Shen Yizhou worked.

”Uncle Leng, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

In the back seat, Luo Xiaoqian supported Leng Lin’s arm, still asking with concern.

”Xiao Qian!” Leng Lin gripped her arm, ”Uncle owes you an apology for this matter...”

Luo Xiaoqian hurried to dissuade him, ”You rest for a while, don’t talk, let’s go to the hospital first. Those things don’t matter, we can talk about them later.”

Leng Lin could only gesture weakly, ”Let me finish talking, I won’t be at ease until I say it...”

”Save your strength!” From the front seat, Leng Zimo, seeing the blood on his face in the rearview mirror, immediately turned around and offered his own handkerchief, ”Cover it up!”

His tone was still angry, but the hand that reached out had already betrayed his worry and care.

Luo Xiaoqian took the handkerchief from his hand, turned her head to look, and indeed saw the wound on Leng Lin’s forehead. She immediately pressed the handkerchief against it, ”Lean back against the chair, lower your head, and stop talking. Moving will cause the wound to bleed more!”

After all, Leng Lin was up in years, and this fall had caused his heart to race and his head to spin.

”Then both of you promise me, listen to my explanation before leaving!”

”Okay, we promise, we promise!” Luo Xiaoqian carefully positioned him against the backrest, ”Lie down properly and don’t move anymore!”

In the front row, Leng Zimo gritted his teeth, took out his cell phone from his pocket, and directly called Shen Yizhou.

”Yizhou, are you at the hospital... Get ready, my father has been injured in a fall. I’m on my way to the hospital; we’ll be there shortly!”

Shortly after Leng Zimo ended the call, the car had already arrived at the general hospital where Shen Yizhou was employed.

Xiao Liu drove straight to the emergency department entrance, where Shen Yizhou was already waiting with several doctors and nurses.

Leng Zimo jumped out to open the car door, and several people hurriedly helped Leng Lin out, placed him on the emergency bed, and pushed him into the emergency room.

They quickly brought Leng Lin into the emergency room, where Shen Yizhou personally tended to the wound on his forehead and conducted a careful examination for blood pressure and the like.

”Dr. Shen, how is he?”

As he put away the stethoscope, Luo Xiaoqian asked worriedly.

”It doesn’t seem to be anything serious at the moment, don’t worry...”

Before Shen Yizhou could finish, Leng Zimo had already cut in dominantly from the side, ”Give him a full body examination!”

”Right, let’s do a full body examination. Uncle Leng fell down the stairs; we need to make sure nothing is broken,” Luo Xiaoqian immediately agreed.

”Okay, I will arrange it immediately!” Shen Yizhou wrote several words on the treatment form, handed it to a nurse, and then they all together pushed the bed upstairs to conduct various examinations on Leng Lin.

An electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram, head CT...

After all the examinations were completed, it was already twilight. When Leng Lin was taken to his room to wait for the results, Shen Yizhou furrowed his brows as he looked at Leng Lin.

”Zimo, what exactly happened? Uncle Leng has always been in good health; how did he suddenly fall?”

”It’s all my fault,” Luo Xiaoqian said softly from the side.

”It has nothing to do with you!” Leng Zimo raised his hand to pat her drooping head, ”Go sit on the sofa for a while!”

”Yizhou, it’s not their fault; I fell by myself!” Leng Lin glanced at Luo Xiaoqian sitting on the sofa, ”Go see if the examination results are out. I need to talk with Zimo and Xiao Qian for a moment.”
