After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 629: Chapter 633: Is Xiao Qian Pregnant?【2】

In the study.

Leng Lin sat down in the chair behind his desk and picked up the photo of his wife on the desk.

”Shiyin, this time, I, for my personal feelings, even disregarded principles; you must also think I’m very selfish, don’t you?”

The Leng mother in the photo merely smiled, her smile beautiful and graceful.

”Xiao Qian is pregnant, and we are about to be promoted to grandparents soon. I always thought children were such a hassle, but now you’re not here, and both stinky boys have their own affairs. It would liven things up if there were a child running around in this house.”

As he spoke, he raised an eyebrow, placed his wife’s photo back on the table, picked up the handset of the desk phone, and dialed Luo Xiaoqian’s number.

...

...

Capital Airport.

”Thank you, everyone!”

Luo Xiaoqian waved to the fans held back at a distance, then, under the escort of Yu Tong, Gao Jie, and others, she got into the back seat of the Mercedes waiting outside.

As the car started, Yu Tong took out her mobile phone from her bag and handed it over.

”Xiao Qian, phone call!”

Luo Xiaoqian took the phone, noticed the caller ID read ”Leng Family Residence”, and hurriedly pressed the answer button.

”Hello?”

”Xiao Qian, it’s Leng Lin.”

”Uncle Leng, hello, is there something you need?”

”Can’t I make a call if there’s nothing wrong?” Leng Lin asked with a laugh.

Luo Xiaoqian also started to smile, ”Of course not, you can call me anytime.”

”Nothing much, just heard that you’ve released a new album. Congratulations on the good results of your album, and also...” Leng Lin paused for a moment, ”when are you free to come over? I just bought a new tablet, and I don’t really know how to use it. Come over and teach me.”

He just bought a new tablet and wants her to teach him how to use it?

On the other end of the phone, Luo Xiaoqian almost laughed out loud. The old master was such a terrible liar. He had wanted his own son but was too embarrassed to say it straight, so he came up with this excuse.

”Alright, I’ve got some things to deal with these couple of days, and Zimo is not in Beijing either. When he returns over the weekend, we will both come over; I’ll teach you properly!”

”Then that’s settled. I’ll tell Aunt Su to prepare more dishes. You both better not stand me up, or it’ll be a waste.”

”Don’t worry, we definitely won’t let your delicious food go to waste,” Luo Xiaoqian promised with a laugh, reminded him to take care of his health, and then hung up.

”It seems the Old Master of the Leng Family is quite fond of you?” Yu Tong said with a smile as she handed over a bottle of mineral water.

Luo Xiaoqian took a sip, ”Can you help me schedule something for the weekend? Set aside one day. The old master is pretty lonely by himself; I want to spend some time with him.”

Yu Tong took out her work notebook from her bag and flipped through it, ”Okay, I’ll move this interview to Friday night. You’ll have Saturday free, just right for a day off. We have to fly to Shanghai next week!”

Luo Xiaoqian nodded, ”Do I have any arrangements around the 29th at the end of the month?”

”You’ve got something?” Yu Tong asked while flipping through her notebook.

”A little something, I need to go abroad for two or three days.”

”Another secret venture?” Yu Tong looked over suggestively, ”Don’t tell me you and Lord Emperor Leng are sneaking off to get married?”

Luo Xiaoqian leaned closer and whispered, ”It’s not me getting married, but Qin Lan. I have to be her bridesmaid. A castle wedding, romantic, huh?”

Tai Lan and Huangfu Ruo’s relationship had already been made public; they just hadn’t had the wedding ceremony. Of course, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t need to keep this a secret from Yu Tong.
