Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 631: Chapter 335: Only She Matters Most (Second Update)_3

If it were just him, he’d rather die than sign it.

Are you kidding me?

Five hundred million!

He’s been a Geomancer Master for over twenty years and hasn’t even earned a hundred million!

Where would he get five hundred million to buy this wasteland for Ouyang?!

He’d rather bash his head in and die, since he had no money to give, only his life.

So even after being beaten half to death, he didn’t relent.

But as soon as he saw Gabrielle Winters brought in, he immediately surrendered.

What is five hundred million?

Even if it were ten times more, he’d sign without blinking an eye.

Ouyang and Mr. You exchanged smiles seeing how quickly he gave in.

”Indeed, heroes are powerless against beauties,” Boss Ouyang laughed, patting Nick Zeller’s face. ”Alright, as long as you repay me honestly, I won’t make it difficult for you two.”

”Sign the contract. Don’t think about playing any tricks or turning your back and reporting to the police. If you report, I have something in hand that’ll make you regret it for a lifetime!” Boss Ouyang said, casually glancing over at Gabrielle Winters.

Nick Zeller felt like his heart was being cut with knives. He turned over, dragging a broken leg, and kowtowed to Boss Ouyang, ”Please, Boss Ouyang, be merciful, don’t make it difficult for my sister... She knows nothing, it’s my fault she’s involved... I’ll buy the land! I’ll buy it!”

Watching him in that state, Boss Ouyang couldn’t help but feel a little admiration for him.

Patting his shoulder, he pulled him up, ”Nick the Great Heavenly Master, I understand what kind of person you are, just a bit unlucky. Look, I keep my word, as long as you obediently buy this land according to the contract, I won’t touch your family.”

Nick Zeller let out a long sigh of relief and kowtowed to Boss Ouyang again.

He clearly understood Ouyang’s type, licking blood off the blade, stubborn and unyielding, not allowing anyone to contradict him, but also having an arrogant attitude.

At this time, he could only show weakness, the more humble, the better.

If it were only about him, he wouldn’t want to live on, he’d just fight against him.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t die now. Gabrielle Winters got involved with them, he could have no dignity, no status, no... money, but he couldn’t let her be harmed even a bit.

Seeing Nick Zeller kneeling on the ground desperately begging for mercy, tears uncontrollably flowed from Gabrielle Winters’ eyes.

She wanted to tell him not to do this, not to humble himself for her, but her mouth was gagged, and she couldn’t utter a single word.

Mr. You, seeing Nick Zeller immediately change his face and beg for mercy, appreciated Gabrielle Winters’ value even more, and couldn’t help but suggest to Boss Ouyang, ”Boss Ouyang, it seems his sister is his weak point, why don’t we just take his sister away...”

”Shut up!” Boss Ouyang suddenly snapped and slapped Mr. You, ”He’s already signed! I promised not to touch his family! Are you treating my words like wind past your ears?!”

Mr. You, usually proud, never treated like this before, couldn’t bear Boss Ouyang’s conduct, he cupped his hands and said, ”Since Boss Ouyang has reached an agreement with Nick the Great Heavenly Master, you don’t need me anymore. — Farewell!”

He resolutely turned and left, walking briskly, soon disappearing without a trace.

One of Boss Ouyang’s subordinates worriedly asked, ”Boss, you’re just letting him go like this?”

Boss Ouyang lethargically lifted his hand, ”Forget it, just let him go. He’s a big Buddha, we couldn’t afford to host him in our small place anyway.”

”...Then why did you hit him?”

”Can’t I hit him?! No matter how capable, he’s just a flunky! — I think he’s been blinded by infatuation, interested in someone else’s sister!” Boss Ouyang snorted coldly, walked over to Nick Zeller and Gabrielle Winters, crouched slightly, and said, ”I seek nothing else, only money. Make good money, give me five hundred million within a year, and it’s still quite hopeful.”

He stood up, looked at the forested area, and sighed, ”I sold this place to you. This villa can’t be built anymore, but you still have land... so I’m still being pretty decent to you.”

Boss Ouyang pulled out a cigarette, and a nearby subordinate fawningly moved up to light it for him.

He took a puff, looked back at Gabrielle Winters and Nick Zeller still on the ground, and waved, ”Untie her, take their phones and throw them away, we’re going down the mountain.”

After taking a few steps, he turned back to warn Gabrielle Winters and Nick Zeller, ”I’ll say it one last time, don’t report to the police. If you do, bear the consequences.”

Soon after, everyone at the construction site left, leaving only a few excavators and a brand new coffin.

They took the generator as well, leaving the site without power, and the erected streetlights were all off.

The moonlight gradually brightened, shining through the gaps in the forest onto the mountainside.
