Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 612: Chapter 329: Emerging Out of Nowhere (Second Update)

The producer forced a smile, exited the meeting room, and returned to her office to draft the bidding rules.

To ensure the bid meeting that evening wouldn’t be a disaster, she endeavored to align the rules with Company A’s credentials, even worried that Lawrence Winters might criticize the company’s insufficient qualifications. As a result, she nearly eliminated the credential requirements from the bidding rules entirely, allowing any legal company to participate without any credential requirements.

In the meeting room, after the producer left, the technical director began playing the post-production sample from Company A.

To be honest, after being ”poisoned” by the previous two companies, this third one was completely different, like a dazzling seductress←_←.

The opening shot of the Snowy Mountain was eye-catching, with endless snow-covered peaks blending perfectly with the azure sky.

Even when zooming in, one could see the snowflakes and snow grains with a strikingly crystal-clear texture.

The colors of the large tree near the leading man and woman were very appealing—the lush green leaves resembling a gracefully poised umbrella, with its brown-black rough trunk, even showing some cracked and peeling bark.

However, the ground where the leads stood was quite interesting.

Because the ground was covered in flowers!

It was very similar to the eye-stinging scene Lawrence Winters initially envisioned...

The only difference was that their scene modeling system wasn’t as powerful as Kenneth Osborne’s, hence the floral coverage wasn’t as detailed or realistic, but it also didn’t have the crowded effect created by Kenneth’s system. It was somewhat vague but not jarring, looking rather harmonious.

Amidst the sea of flowers, the leads confide in each other under the big tree, with the Snowy Mountain symbolizing steadfast purity as their backdrop, and fluffy white clouds drifting in the blue sky—it seemed quite convincing.

The technical director and the director quietly glanced at Edward Foster, seeing a hint of a smile on his face, appearing satisfied.

Only then did they exchange a furtive glance, secretly relaxing.

But when the Demon Seed appeared to enchant the leading man, it was somewhat lacking in impact.

In this sample, the Demon Seed was a leaf falling from the big tree, which drifted into the leading woman’s hand, and she held it, presenting it personally to the leading man’s chest.

Then, right in front of them—it disappeared!

The key was, after it disappeared, they continued flirtatiously, whispering sweet nothings, and then embraced each other.

Watching this, all Lawrence Winters could think was: Where’s the leaf? Where’s the leaf? Where’s the leaf?

Where did the leaf go?

They saw the leaf vanish right before the leading man’s chest, and acted like it wasn’t a problem???

Are these two disciples from the biggest Cultivation Sect, the most promising ones, really this blind??

Why hasn’t a villain jumped out yet to pierce these two through the heart with a sword?!

With this level of vigilance, what’s the point of cultivating immortality!

And the leading man is supposed to be a demon savior?

He’d probably get killed by a lackey on his first day in the Demon Realm...

Edward Foster’s brow, having just relaxed, furrowed again, saying, ”Is this leaf not from a god’s perspective then?”

”Certainly not.” The director laughed lightly, ”It’s a Demon Seed, the leading woman personally held it and delivered it to the leading man’s chest - isn’t it shocking? The dramatic conflict is quite intense, and when the leading man realizes he’s been possessed, knowing it was his beloved who did it, surely...”

Edward Foster raised his hand, interrupted him, and smirked slightly, saying, ”The dramatic conflict is indeed good, but this detail is like that first black stone Demon Seed, you can’t just pretend it doesn’t exist because it disappeared?”

”The leading woman handed a leaf to the leading man, then they watched it disappear into his body. Is that really no problem? Is the leading man intermittently blind? Or is the leading woman intermittently forgetting? Or when they fall in love, do both leads become intelligence-deficient brain-deads?”

Edward Foster’s sharp and biting remarks wiped the smile off the director’s face again.

He rubbed his brow and said, ”Mr. Foster, we can certainly continue revising this point, but personally, I feel this detail is fine. After all, the audience’s attention will be on the leads confessing their feelings. I’ll edit in a scene of them kissing later, and everyone won’t remember the leaf disappearing.”

”Then you might as well let the leaf fall from the tree and directly vanish on top of the leading man’s head,” Lawrence Winters suggested. ”With the leading man looking down at the leading woman, he probably wouldn’t sense anything falling on his head. Assuming this Demon Seed is particularly powerful, if the leading man couldn’t see it, he wouldn’t perceive it.”
