Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 603: Chapter 324: Seeing Through Without Exposing, We Can Still Be Husband and Wife

Kenneth Osborne laughed at what she said, ”Nora, you really have high hopes for me.”

”When it comes to computers... that’s a huge hat to wear, do you think just because one can write code, they can do everything?”

The spark in Lawrence Winters’ eyes was about to extinguish: ”Can’t they?”

Kenneth couldn’t bear to tease her any longer and smiled, ”They can. Others can’t, but your man, I must be able to!”

”Ah?! Really?! You’re not teasing me, are you?!” Lawrence’s emotions took another rollercoaster ride.

Kenneth hummed in agreement and said, ”You want to add visual effects to this sample film, do you have the storyboard for it?”

Lawrence: ”...”

”It’s not like building a house, is there still a storyboard?”

”Of course there is. It’s just a storyboard where many strict directors will create boards. Making effects based on storyboards is more standardized.”

Kenneth glanced at her, ”Can you get the storyboard? If you can’t, we won’t be able to work overtime this weekend.”

”Can’t you do it my way?” Lawrence rubbed her temples, ”I can tell you the effect I want. How about we try a version first? As for the storyboard, I can ask Mr. Fu.”

Kenneth curled his lips slightly, ”Okay, so tell me, what kind of effect do you want?”

”Here’s how I think.”

Lawrence, full of enthusiasm, dragged the sample with her mouse.

”Look, the green screen behind them, I want to make it into a snowy mountain scene. The so-called ’frozen thousands of miles, snow drifting tens of thousands of miles,’ that’s the kind of effect I’m after.”

”Mountains with no flying birds, paths where no people tread amidst that ancient desolate atmosphere, with a vibrant green tree standing right next to where the male and female leads stand.”

”And, the ground under their feet should be covered in blooming flowers, like they are standing in a sea of flowers.”

Kenneth thought for a moment and shook his head, ”Too many flowers can be dizzying.”

Lawrence: ”!!!”

What kind of nonsense is that!

She glared at Kenneth, ”I want it! I want it! Make it for me!”

Seeing her rare moment of stubbornness, Kenneth found it cute and pinched her puffed cheeks, ”Okay, okay, I’ll make it for you. If it doesn’t look good, don’t blame me.”

After all, it’s an experiment, so he might as well try.

Kenneth opened the two pieces of software he developed, one for automatic keying of dynamic figures, and the other for scene modeling.

Precisely speaking, these two pieces of software aren’t really related to artificial intelligence, but like AI, they involve algorithm issues.

The higher the efficiency of the algorithm, the less time the program requires to run.

Similarly, the more successful the algorithm, the less time artificial intelligence involving deep learning consumes.

This is similar yet different.

Lawrence sat beside Kenneth, watching his long fingers fly over the keyboard rapidly.

The images on the display were being deconstructed one by one.

First, the male and female leads were keyed out, with such detail that even the difference in the fluffiness of their hair strands was shown.

Lawrence was so engrossed that she was staring blankly.

At this moment, she forgot how superb their acting was, completely immersing in the world of technology.

At the pinnacle of technological development, there was even an aura of religious theological mystery.

It was like witnessing the birth of a grand world, how it unfolded from nothing to something, from chaos to all things growing, step by step before her eyes.

After keying out the two characters, Kenneth started on scene modeling.

Lawrence requested the scene of ’frozen thousands of miles, snow drifting tens of thousands of miles’ of the snowy mountain.

This seemed not difficult, but to achieve realism, avoiding the unreal texture of anime or games, would require significant effort.

Fortunately, Kenneth was also a big player in artificial intelligence, integrating deep learning codes into scene modeling from AI.

Thus, the rather fake-looking meticulous snowy mountain progressively became realistic, three-dimensional, and lively before Lawrence’s eyes.

Kenneth handed her a mic saying, ”Speak into the mic your requirements for the snowy mountain, my program will automatically adjust according to your needs.”

”So amazing?! I don’t have to write code myself?!” Lawrence was extremely excited, hugged Kenneth, and kissed him on the cheek.

”This is human-machine dialogue, basic artificial intelligence.” Kenneth smiled, enjoying Lawrence’s admiring gaze, and raised his hand to gesture her to begin.

Lawrence coughed lightly and hesitantly spoke into the mic, ”... Can this snowy mountain, um, be a bit taller?”

Soon, the snowy mountain stretching for miles on the display grew significantly taller, with the snow gleaming, the peaks soaring high as if piercing the sky.

Lawrence immediately thought of a storyline where the senior master of the male lead was led astray, and quickly said, ”Can you add a hint of mystical purple to the sky’s color? Not too dark, just a touch in the white.”

Following her request, the sky’s color on the display transitioned from a blueish white to a purplish white, exuding a sense of justice mixed with a touch of eeriness.

Lawrence was immediately satisfied, nodded, and said: ”This color is great! However, the snow on the mountain is too smooth, it needs more snowy texture.”

Real snow isn’t smooth like a mirror but shows the angularities of snow particles.

This time, the adjustment to the display took a bit longer.

It took a full five minutes before the blurry image finally sharpened.

The adjusted snowy mountain indeed looked different.

It seemed like a snowy mountain that truly existed in some era, the mountains silently spanning across eternity.

The snow particles seemed near, but upon closer look, they were integrated into the entire background.

The real and the unreal seemed to lie within the blink of an eye.

The scene shifted as Kenneth placed the keyed-out dynamic scene of the male and female leads’ confession into the modeling.

The male lead’s robe was black and white, highlighting him as if he walked out of a traditional painting like a celestial exile.

The female lead’s dress was cherry pink, standing under the vibrant green tree, with a backdrop of snow-capped great mountains, the powerful visual impact instantly capturing everyone’s attention.
