Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 618: Chapter 331: True Love Cannot Be Hidden (Second Update)_2

This shifted the initiative to AI Vision Promise, but also gave Four Seasons Company some face.

At this time, apart from Lawrence Winters, everyone else in the meeting room genuinely believed that AI Vision Promise needed the help of Four Seasons Company. They couldn’t believe that AI Vision Promise could complete the post-production effects for forty episodes of a TV series in two weeks.

But Lawrence knew that with Kenneth Osborne’s programming skills, the more scenes the program processed, the stronger it would become.

In other words, its speed was accelerating, and the acceleration would get faster and faster as it progressed.

Just like those super contagious diseases, the spread might be slow at first, but once it reached a certain scale, the transmission speed would rocket from a bicycle’s pace to a cosmic acceleration.

So the two weeks Kenneth set was more than sufficient.

However, she also understood the need to give others face, so she no longer objected and cheerfully said, ”Alright, Edward, you’re the boss, you have the final say.”

”It’s not me who has the final say, it’s the technology,” Edward Foster laughed heartily, ”Let’s set it this way then, we’ll send the contract to AI Vision Promise on Monday, and once they sign, the first deposit can be paid.”

”Then thank you, Edward. Our company will definitely do our best to meticulously produce the post-production effects for your company’s TV series. This series will surely be a big hit,” Marilyn said with a smile, complimenting them.

Although she was being complimentary, there wasn’t a hint of flattery, her tone was still so sincere and assured, as if every word she said was based on fact.

Lawrence was watching from the side, amazed.

Although she followed Nick Zeller around learning about feng shui and was quite knowledgeable about social affairs, she didn’t quite understand the level of social skills that Marilyn had.

This was truly a case of professionals in their own specializations.

She was quite curious about where Edward Foster found such an impressive professional.

Thus, the bidding ended. Although the people at Four Seasons Company were a bit unhappy, AI Vision Promise’s sample clips were real and their quality was something they couldn’t hope to match.

They stopped speaking and quietly packed their things to leave.

The director, producer, and technical director were anxious, but Edward Foster had no intention of pursuing the matter. He shook hands with them one by one, smiling, and said, ”Thank you for your hard work. It’s unfortunate you have to work overtime on the weekend. Go back and rest well. As for the rest, leave it to AI Vision Promise. Meanwhile, think about the future development of the company. The way we produce TV series might undergo major changes.”

Originally feeling a bit uncomfortable, the three immediately felt a shock in their hearts and softened their attitudes.

”Edward, you’re too kind. It’s our duty.”

”Edward, you’re working overtime on the weekend too without complaints, what do we have to complain about? Hahaha...”

”Edward, your vision is exceptional; this series will definitely be a big hit!”

Compared to Marilyn’s stance, the eagerness of these three was obvious and less flattering.

Lawrence looked at them, then glanced at Marilyn, feeling she had learned a lot again.

After the director, producer, and technical director left, only Edward Foster, Lawrence Winters, Marilyn, and her two assistants remained in the meeting room.

Edward Foster warmly shook Marilyn’s hand, ”Ms. Marilyn, you are amazing, truly amazing!”

He refrained from calling her Aunt Marilyn or acting overly familiar, because this was the company meeting room, equipped with surveillance.

Marilyn understood and modestly said, ”Edward, you’re too kind. I hope our company can live up to expectations and do a good job.”

As she spoke, she curiously glanced at Lawrence Winters.

With her keen observation, she could naturally see Edward Foster’s subtle attempts at ingratiation, which he thought were discreet.

Edward Foster felt he had masked his feelings well, but genuine affection is hard to hide.

At this moment, Mrs. Foster, who had been waiting in the basement parking lot, received the news and came upstairs.

She stood at the meeting room door and said with a smile, ”Are you hungry? I brought some late-night snacks for you.”

The late-night snacks were actually some small desserts she had the kitchen pack up for her before leaving.

Her personal assistant laid the desserts out on the semi-circular conference table.

Lawrence noticed some sticky specialty sweets and raised her eyebrows in surprise.

Several of these were her favorites, like the mango sticky rice, petite green dumplings, and the creatively made sticky rice dates.

She just loved these soft, sticky, and sweet-tasting snacks.

Edward Foster blushed when he saw these snacks.

These were the ones he had indirectly inquired about, knowing what Lawrence Winters liked to eat, and had once asked the chef to learn to make, intending to bring them to Lawrence once they were done.
