Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 624: Chapter 333: You Don’t Blame Me for Neglecting You, Do You? (Second Update)

The old Daoist realized it was Cameron Spencer, that reckless father of Nick Zeller, who had arranged the deal.

Otherwise, with such a big business, how many Feng Shui Masters would be eyeing it, how could he have it all to himself?

”Which company would make such a grand move?” the old Daoist asked curiously, ”Building villas on that Feng Shui treasure land near the Imperial Citadel and securing a hundred acres of land isn’t simple, right?”

”It’s hillside land, not too bad, not difficult,” Nick Zeller said nonchalantly, ”I calculated before, and there’s no problem. I also seriously checked the Feng Shui; that land isn’t good for planting trees, but for building houses, especially villas, turning the surrounding trees into shrubs and landscape trees will do.”

”That’s good then.” The old Daoist smiled and drank his soup, ”When are they paying you?”

”They’ve already paid half as a deposit, and the remaining half will be paid to me when they start construction in two weeks,” Nick Zeller said proudly, ”Once this deal is done, we can pay off part of the loan on this house.”

”Why pay off loans when you have the money?” The old Daoist shook his head, ”No need to pay it back, I know what I’m doing.”

Since the old Daoist opposed it, Nick Zeller did not mention it again.

...

Two weeks passed quickly, and during this time, Lawrence Winters was preparing materials to participate in the television drama trade month.

She originally didn’t need to attend, as her main role was as the spokesperson of the Public Relations Department, and also Lucas Harlow’s manager.

To involve her in the television series sales business, Edward Foster promoted her; she is now also serving as the Deputy Director of the Marketing Department, primarily responsible for selling the series this time.

Kenneth Osborne was also busy during these two weeks.

He secured a contract with NewHuman Corporation but did not immediately start post-production; instead, he spent a week restructuring the company.

Above AI Vision Promise, he established a holding company named Far Promise Holdings.

AI Vision Promise became a wholly owned subsidiary of Far Promise Holdings, specializing in artificial intelligence.

At the same time, he founded Fantasy World Visual Effects Studio, specializing in post-production effects.

He transferred the contract from AI Vision Promise to Fantasy World Visual Effects Studio.

Of course, Lawrence Winters helped him a lot to secure a new contract with NewHuman Corporation, directly naming ”Fantasy World Visual Effects Studio.”

He spent two weeks sorting out the company’s personnel as well.

During a large-scale expansion, he hired quite a few people.

As time passed, these people showed mixed performance.

He took the opportunity to make some adjustments.

The core technical staff remained at AI Vision Promise, continuing in the field of artificial intelligence.

Those who weren’t core technical staff but had solid foundational skills and could complete assigned tasks were transferred to the newly established Fantasy World Visual Effects Studio.

About one-third of the people were transferred there.

Of course, some people were unwilling to give up the field of artificial intelligence and resigned automatically after receiving the transfer order.

The remaining 80% of the staff was actually sufficient.

Before Fantasy World had established its brand, Kenneth Osborne had to be thrifty and couldn’t afford too many losses.

Spring Spencer provided a lot of assistance during this time, teaching him many things.

Spring Spencer was different from Francis Johnson; she had a pure investment and entrepreneurial mindset, which aligned with Kenneth Osborne.

Kenneth Osborne, being a tech person, hoped to understand business operations to help himself achieve technical goals.

He already knew a bit about Francis Johnson’s identity.

He was not purely a businessman, so his way of handling things and judging people had its own set of methods and logic.

In Francis Johnson’s position, it worked, but Kenneth Osborne was not of Francis Johnson’s status, and he couldn’t rely on Francis Johnson for management all the time.

Moreover, since Francis Johnson said he would openly abandon him, he could no longer frequently interact with people on Francis Johnson’s side.

Coincidentally, Spring Spencer was a great help during this critical time, so Kenneth Osborne self-studied while cross-referencing the knowledge Spring Spencer provided.

He didn’t want to hire a specialized consulting company because much of what he did held significant commercial value.

If he hired a specialized consulting firm, he wouldn’t be able to keep many commercial secrets.

He also worried about leaks from the consulting firm, so he preferred to handle things personally.

In just a week, everything was sorted out, and he began training his staff on the two post-production software he had developed.

The functions of this software were too powerful, so he wanted his technical staff to know the basic norms of using the software, capable of inputting commands in machine language.
