Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1310 - 668: Boundless Sea of Sand (2)

The plan Xu Xin and his team devised this time was clear.

Zhao Xiaochuan would ride the Silver King, heading towards their final destination.

Due to Zhao Xiaochuan’s Stealth ability, he and the Silver King he was riding would go undetected in this sea of sand.

This way, they could sneak unnoticed towards the headquarters of the alien invaders.

Although the others also had advanced Stealth cloaks, which allowed them to remain unseen while moving, their movement could only be relatively slow.

Hence, this role was none other than Zhao Xiaochuan’s.

Wang Lei patted Zhao Xiaochuan on the shoulder: ”Haha, we’re counting on you, Brother Chuan!”

”Don’t call me Brother, why don’t you do it, Brother Lei?” Zhao Xiaochuan looked ”irritated.”

”No no no, you handle it, Brother Chuan. Those who are capable should work harder!”

Zhao Xiaochuan rode on, while the others...

”Brother Xin, give me the wristband. I’ll store you guys in it, and we shall depart now.” Zhao Xiaochuan extended his hand to Xu Xin.

The others would be stored into the wristband and taken along by Zhao Xiaochuan.

However, just as Xu Xin was about to hand over the wristband, he suddenly pulled back his hand.

”Wait a moment, I just thought of something. The Silver King’s back is so large, can’t it carry one more person?” Zhao Xiaochuan immediately turned to look at the Silver King. ”Silver King, for you now, carrying one person or two people shouldn’t make a difference, right?”

”Awoo!”

The Silver King confidently raised its head.

”Are you saying you can carry one person without being detected?” Xu Xin asked.

”Yes, as long as we don’t get off the Silver King’s back.” Zhao Xiaochuan nodded.

Xu Xin rubbed his chin, ”Then me and you...”

”Let me go.”

At this moment, Xu Ying, who had been staring blankly at the purple-black pillar of light, turned her head and said, ”Let me go instead. I’m more familiar with this place.”

”Yingying, your ability is crucial for us at the most critical moment.” Xu Xin frowned slightly.

Xu Ying’s condition had been unstable recently, and Xu Xin was quite worried about her.

But her ability was crucial for the team, so Xu Xin didn’t want her to step in unless it was absolutely critical.

”Now is a critical moment.” Xu Ying looked at him and said, ”We are very close to the alien invaders’ base. The risk of being exposed will greatly increase. If I’m outside, even if we’re discovered accidentally, we can immediately teleport away.”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Xiaochuan nodded in agreement, ”Yes, that’s indeed the case! With Yingying and me together, there won’t be so much to worry about!”

Xu Xin sighed.

Xu Ying was right, but he was really worried about her current mental state.

But...

Having her go indeed seemed like the best choice.

Leaving Zhao Xiaochuan alone outside also worried Xu Xin.

”...Three people shouldn’t be a problem, right?” Xu Xin asked Zhao Xiaochuan.

”Three people? Ah, no problem!” Zhao Xiaochuan nodded, ”As long as we don’t get off the Silver King’s back.”

”Then I’ll go too,” said Xu Xin.

He was truly worried.

”Hey, if three people can go, why not let me go?” Wen Guixin spoke up, ”I haven’t ridden the Silver King yet.”

”No!” Zhao Xiaochuan quickly waved his hand. ”I’m afraid if you see something, you’ll get too excited and lose control of your ability!”

”I... Well, it’s possible.” Wen Guixin said awkwardly, ”Then forget about it.”

”Why don’t I go?” Jin Yue suggested at this moment, ”I have an advantage in physical abilities.”

”Me too!” Lou Fei’er said, ”Xu Xin, you should take a rest. You led the way just now.”

”No need.” Xu Xin glanced at the silent Xu Ying, ”I’ll go. My map ability is more useful than yours in this situation.”

”This... Alright...”

”Sigh... I knew it...” Li Wenxi sighed, ”Aren’t you tired?”

”Don’t worry, I’m fine.” Xu Xin rubbed her head, ”When we reach our destination or need you, we’ll let you out. Remember, everyone should wear their Stealth cloaks in advance.” Xu Xin reminded the others.

”Don’t worry, we understand that,” Wen Guixin waved her hand, ”Alright, it’s time to go. Ji Chaoyang is still fighting over there, we need to hurry.”

”Yes, you need to be careful, and you too, Yingying,” Li Wenxi turned to Xu Ying, who was still staring at the purple-black pillar of light.

”Hmm...? Ah! Alright!” Xu Ying nodded.

”What about me? What about me?” Zhao Xiaochuan pointed at himself, ”Sister Wenxi, what about me? Are you not going to remind me to be careful too?”

”Ah, you too, be careful not to get discovered,” Li Wenxi laughed.

”I...” Zhao Xiaochuan was at a loss for words.

”Just kidding, oh, and there’s Keke too!” Li Wenxi handed the drowsy Keke in her arms to Xu Xin, ”Take Keke with you, its ability might help mitigate risks for you.”

”Eek...” Keke opened its eyes in Xu Xin’s arms, ”Eek?”

”Alright.”

Xu Xin once again stored the others into the wristband and patted the Silver King.

The Silver King understood and crouched down.

With its current size, if it didn’t lower its body, Xu Xin and the others would have a hard time climbing up.

The Silver King now was no longer the size one could easily climb onto with a single flip.
