Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1302 - 665: Pterosaur Journey 3

”Beep—Beep—”

At this moment, the instrument in Old Yang’s hand sounded again!

This directly sent shivers down the spines of Xu Xin and Old Yang!

”Ah!” Huihui also turned his head in an instant towards the direction of the giant bats.

”Ying ying!” Keke cried out urgently, ”Ying! Ying ying ying!”

The danger has returned!

The appearance of Huihui probably made those giant bats feel threatened!

”Huihui, let’s go up! Quick!”

Xu Xin hurriedly said.

Huihui immediately lowered its body, and Xu Xin and Old Yang quickly mounted Huihui’s back.

”Go quickly!” shouted Xu Xin, while turning on the strong flashlight in his hand to illuminate Huihui’s surroundings.

Actually, without Xu Xin saying, just in the moment they flipped onto the dragon, Huihui had already gotten up, kicking with its hind legs and instantly propelled into the air, speeding towards a direction away from the giant bats’ nest!

”Wrong direction, we must pass through the giant bats’ nest! This is the only route nearby that this big guy can take!” Old Yang immediately said.

Which means... go back?

Xu Xin instantly frowned.

Can Huihui... make it through the giant bats’ nest?

”Ah—”

Huihui understood, and immediately made a small turn in the air, flying towards the direction of the giant bats’ nest!

”Ying?!” Keke instantly waved its little paws anxiously, ”Ying ying! Ying ying ying!”

Those giant bats are really dangerous!

Keke was not at all afraid to face the similarly huge petrified giant beast before, but was so nervous confronting these giant bats!

Head-on, a dozen or so giant bats were flying towards them, almost blocking the entire air ahead!

The speeds of both sides were extremely fast; a collision was imminent!

”Bang!” Firelight suddenly burst from Old Yang’s hand, and the wings of a giant bat directly in front were shot, letting out a miserable cry, then its body tilted, exposing a gap.

”Ah—!” Huihui suddenly flapped its wings, sending the whole dragon diving downward, then swiftly ascending, and folded its wings just as it was about to crash into the bat swarm, slipping through the gap of the injured bat!

Xu Xin and Old Yang clung closely to Huihui’s body, holding on for dear life, and Keke clung tightly to Xu Xin’s arm, terrified of being flung off the next second!

”——”

A piercing screech from behind!

Although Old Yang’s shot had opened a path, it completely enraged the bat swarm!

This directly prompted the dozen or so giant bats behind to turn and chase rapidly after Xu Xin and his team!

”Ah—” Huihui started to accelerate too.

”Tsk...” Xu Xin held on tightly.

He originally didn’t want to get into this situation, and thought that perhaps they could communicate with these bats and maybe even become allies.

But Old Yang’s shot shattered this idea.

However, without his shot, the situation just now wouldn’t have been any better, so he couldn’t blame Old Yang.

But those bats behind them...

”Bang bang bang!” Old Yang grabbed Huihui’s body with one hand and fired several shots behind him with the other, slowing down a few of the giant bats, ”You shoot too! You have a weapon, right!”

”No need for weapons!” Xu Xin said, taking out a treehouse core from his backpack and threw it behind him!

The treehouse core was a shimmering white crystal.

As giant beasts, these giant bats should be attracted!

Indeed, Xu Xin was right.

After the core was tossed out, several of the bats’ attention shifted immediately, and they broke formation!

”It’s working!”

The treehouse core, he had plenty of these!

Xu Xin immediately hurled three more behind him!

Again, several bats were attracted.

There were only three left behind now!

Xu Xin gritted his teeth and threw five more behind him!

”Ying!”

”All gone!” Old Yang exclaimed excitedly, ”Who would have thought the treehouse core could actually attract these pterosaurs?”

... Temporarily safe.
