Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 930: Chapter 537: Wen Guixin Takes Action, the Beast Horde Turns Sides! (Part 2)

Although the mutant creatures count as a relatively powerful force, and under the influence of Crystal City they can continue to grow, eventually even possibly becoming a monstrous army, they must not overstep.

”I told you, didn’t I? Then I’m going!” Wen Guixin immediately focused outside Crystal City, heading out.

”Wait a bit longer.”

Wen Guixin paused, deflated, and asked helplessly, ”What is it now?”

”Ah, I just meant to say, wait until they’re very close before you strike.” Xu Xin said apologetically, ”It’ll be safer for you that way.”

”Hmm, quite right.” Wen Guixin nodded and then quickly walked to the edge of Crystal City.

”I’ve always wanted to see what her abilities are like. Have you seen her in action before?” Lou Fei’Er leaned in excitedly to ask Xu Xin.

In that case, Xu Xin actually still hasn’t seen Wen Guixin truly use her abilities.

”The view here isn’t good enough, I need to go up to see!”

Speaking this, Lou Fei’Er nimbly climbed to the rooftop of the two-story crystal building, sitting at the edge, excitedly looking in Wen Guixin’s direction.

”Then I will too...”

Xu Xin also climbed up to the rooftop, sitting down.

Seeing this, Jin Yue lightly sprang up with a push of her feet, easily leaping up.

The three of them all looked toward Wen Guixin.

At this time, the mutant creatures were slowly pacing closer in the direction of Crystal City.

The distance was already less than ten meters.

Yet Wen Guixin couldn’t wait any longer, she reached for the purple-grade scythe Xu Xin made for her, charging towards the beastly group!

She really is hot-tempered...

”It’s starting!” Lou Fei’Er widened her eyes looking in that direction.

Just as Wen Guixin stepped out of the range of Crystal City, the nearby mutant creatures instantly became agitated!

They collectively leaped towards Wen Guixin, who was no longer protected by Crystal City, seemingly releasing the previously repressed agitation!

Yet Wen Guixin remained unflustered, directly swinging her giant scythe, a flash of metal!

In an instant, the mutant creatures charging towards her were all slashed into halves!

Including severed limbs, even several pieces!

At that moment, blood splattered everywhere!

And all over her body too, a lot of it splattered!

Instantly bathed in blood!

The blood immediately aroused the bloodthirst of surrounding mutant creatures, over a dozen mutant creatures around her rushed at once!

But she did not stand to fight, instead, hefting the half-body of the ground-bound mutant creature, she pitched it towards the beastly group while exerting force with the scythe...

In an instant, this still alive mutant creature was once again torn apart in agony, blood spraying like rain over the vast beastly group!

”Whoa...” Lou Fei’Er shivered her neck a bit, ”A bit gory...”

As someone primarily using a dagger, killing mutant creatures was almost always a critical strike to the fatal spot, never such a bloody scene.

Jin Yue merely looked calmly.

”Good tactic!” Xu Xin’s eyes gleamed.

He remembered, Wen Guixin’s ability is able to rapidly infect beastly groups, precisely because it can be spread through blood.

Once infected mutant creatures are slain by those not infected, the splattering blood will directly infect surrounding creatures.

Unless dealt with through long-range means, direct close combat is unbeatable!

Sure enough, those mutant creatures drenched in infected blood suddenly became sluggish.

And the mutant creatures leaping towards Wen Guixin also halted as claws and fangs were about to harm her.

”Alright, begin the massacre.” Wen Guixin’s lips curled into a faint smile.

”Roar—!”

Affected by her technique, nearly twenty mutant creatures were influenced, which for the entire beastly group was rather few.

The mutant creatures around, not affected, abandoned advancing towards Crystal City, all roaring and charging at her!

”Crack!”

”Roar—!!”

Then their former companions suddenly turned back, lashing out at them, clawing their bodies, biting their throats!

The surrounding mutant creatures’ movements paused, all looking this way as if the controlling entity was stunned, wondering why this was happening!

”Not good!” Lou Fei’Er suddenly exclaimed, ”Those mutant creatures are about to come over! I...”

She intended to rush over directly, using her extremely fast speed to take Wen Guixin back, but paused mid-sprint.

...can’t touch her.

Xu Xin also furrowed his brows slightly.

Wen Guixin’s position now, is somewhat too deep, about ten meters from Crystal City.

In front of her, controlled mutant creatures, but behind her, the side of Crystal City, is surrounded by mutant creatures not yet under her control!

This truly is...!

”Clear a path for her!” Xu Xin immediately jumped off the crystal building.

Lou Fei’Er and Jin Yue were even faster!

The former directly transformed into a shadow darting past, the latter leaped into the air above the beastly group, then raised a long leg, stomped towards the ground!

”Boom!”

”Crack!”

A mutant creature was directly stomped into the ground, instantly splintering into pieces!

Blood bloomed on the ground like a flower!

This even startled mutant creatures that had been eyeing Wen Guixin, instinctively scattering toward the surroundings.
