Berserk God of War

Chapter 637: Chapter 637: Do You Only Bully The Weak-inside Your Group?

”Senior Brother Xi,”

A female student with blood on the corner of her mouth standing beside Qiu Baichu couldn’t help but let out a sharp scream when she saw the state of the strong man. She rushed into the building, hugging and pulling him out. But when she saw that the strong man’s eyes had rolled back, completely white, the student was furiously indignant.

Finally, unable to contain herself, she looked towards the direction of the medical facility, shouting, ”If you want Gongyang Ying to die, then go challenge her! Fight her in a life or death battle! What does bullying us like this mean? Are you only courageous among your own...”

The female student hadn’t finished speaking when Qiu Baichu’s face suddenly turned pale, and he called out, ”Junior Sister Luan, stop talking.”

Voicing it out will kill people!

”I have to say it, I just have to... Death is but a small matter.”

The student known as Junior Sister Luan had eyes reddened with rage as she stared at the students from the Main Academy, punctuating each word, ”Are all you capable of is picking on the weak within your group? Do you not have the guts?”

Upon hearing Sister Man’s words, Qiu Baichu and the others turned as pale as sheets.

One thought filled their minds: It’s over. Junior Sister Luan is as good as dead.

Not daring to challenge Gongyang Ying and only bullying the weak within the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace. Isn’t that cowardice?

But they were the weak ones. What could they do?

As expected, the expressions on the faces of the two male students from the Main Academy outside the medical facility drastically changed, and a frenzy of aura attacked Junior Sister Luan. The man who had just sent the strong man flying coldly shouted, ”You want to die, right? Fine, I’ll accommodate you.”

After he spoke, he took long strides forward, heading towards Junior Sister Luan and the strong man.

Thud...

Instantly, Qiu Baichu, gritting his teeth in desperation, dashed to the front of Junior Sister Luan and the strong man, falling to his knees and pleading, ”Senior Brother, Junior Sister Luan’s mistake is not worthy of death, please, I beg you not to kill her.”

Thump, thump, thump...

Having said that, Qiu Baichu pounded his head on the ground in frenzied kowtows, his heart filled with extreme frustration and fear.

To think that the Chief disciple of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace could only kneel and beg miserably like a coward.

And what he feared was not for himself, but for Junior Sister Luan being killed!

However, greeted by a heavy ”thud”, what met him was a vicious kick that sent Qiu Baichu flying, accompanied by the Main Academy male student’s cold voice, ”You, Qiu Baichu, have no right to beg for mercy. She’s doomed.”

As soon as the words were uttered, Qiu Baichu’s entire body was shrouded in a chilling cold, and his eyes reddened to the extreme.

The next instant... Boom!

An explosive force of True Qi from the Xuantian Fifth Realm burst forth from Qiu Baichu.

In his hand, a Long Spear appeared with a ”clang”, slowly raising up, pointing towards the male student who wanted to kill Junior Sister Luan.

A hoarse voice emanated from Qiu Baichu’s mouth.

”Though I, Qiu Baichu, am far from Long Night Sikong Jing in the Holy Dragon General Academy, today I choose to stand as Sikong Jing, even if it means death!”

A rolling voice soared to the heavens, Qiu Baichu’s aura continued to surge, the determination of one who’s prepared for a fight to the death.

The people in Holy Dragon Town shook uncontrollably, each gripping their fists tight... Sikong Jing, a man who dared to defy the Holy Dragon General Academy, a hero in their hearts!

Even though he was banished from the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, his name was still deeply etched in the hearts of countless disciples of the Holy Dragon Palace.

Far from Sikong Jing, and yet striving to be Sikong Jing...

From a distance, Master Zhang’s fists clenched uncontrollably, several ordinary students had tears in their eyes as they set their gaze upon Sikong Jing in front, wishing they could tell Qiu Baichu that Sikong Jing had already arrived.

But Sikong Jing slowly turned to Master Zhang, asking, ”Now do you still think, that Lian Zhiyu and the others shouldn’t die?”

Master Zhang’s teeth chattered with force, not that they shouldn’t die, but that he dare not let them die.

”You all step back. I, Sikong Jing, will take responsibility for what follows alone, trying not to implicate the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace.” Sikong Jing, aware of Master Zhang’s concerns, gently advised.

Master Zhang was violently trembling, feeling utterly useless and ashamed.

But ultimately, fear conquered impulse, and, leading several ordinary students, he swiftly retreated from the scene. They couldn’t be seen with Sikong Jing, otherwise, if the Holy Dragon General Academy found out, it would mean certain death.

In front of the medical facility, the male student walking towards Junior Sister Luan stopped dead in his tracks, then turned to look at Qiu Baichu.

”So you want to die too, I can grant you that wish,” he said.

After speaking, he gave up on killing Junior Sister Luan and instead took steps toward Qiu Baichu, his whole body radiating killing intent.

The latter felt the pressure of the Daoist Martial Realm emanating from his opponent, but the spear in his hands remained steadfast. As the Chief of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace, he was ready to fight to the death even against a Daoist Martial adversary!

Clang, clang, clang...

Suddenly, the sound of weapons being drawn rang out repeatedly. Junior Sister Luan, the now lucid brawny man, and the other two genius students from the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace all rushed out, standing behind Qiu Baichu ready... to fight to the death!

At that moment, they had forgotten their fear of death, driven only by the anger and dignity in their hearts.

”Sigh...”

Above the thick cloud layer, a gentle sigh was heard.

An aged man with white hair stood atop a giant demon dragon, looking down in anguish at everything transpiring in Holy Dragon Town.

He was none other than the Palace Master of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace, Qiu Qifeng, Qiu Baichu’s grandfather.

”Palace Master, quickly go save them,” urged the voice of an old woman beside him, an elder of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace.

There were several other people on the back of the demon dragon as well, all of them top-tier powerful individuals from the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace, each clenching their teeth.

With a bitter smile, Qiu Qifeng spoke slowly, ”Of course we have to save them, but we must let the other party vent a little, and also let them feel the overpowering Martial Arts strength of the Holy Dragon General Academy.”

He definitely couldn’t let his grandson, Qiu Baichu, go to his death, but the Academy’s students needed to let off some steam nonetheless.

If he intervened to save them now, he feared the situation could become even more uncontrollable later on!

Qiu Qifeng felt helpless, but there really was no alternative; Lian Zhuiyu’s background was too terrifying—her father was a powerhouse of the Reverse Soul Realm with an extraordinary status within the Holy Dragon General Academy.

Hearing this, one high-level member of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace felt indignant, but all that was left in the end was a helpless sigh.

Just as the battle in Holy Dragon Town was about to erupt, a domineering voice echoed from within the medical facility: ”Wait a second.”

Upon hearing this, Qiu Qifeng’s pupils constricted—it was the voice of Lian Zhuiyu.

Had she had a change of heart and no longer wished to kill Qiu Baichu and the others?

As he pondered this, Lian Zhuiyu emerged from the medical facility, her pace unhurried.

She was seen with a thick veil covering her face, now swollen like that of a pig, flanked by two female students from the Holy Dragon General Academy.

Step by step, she approached Qiu Baichu and the others, while the male student who had attempted killing stepped back behind her.

Then, Lian Zhuiyu, staring directly at Qiu Baichu, said gravely, ”I should have given your grandfather a face, a lesson would have sufficed, but now... you must die... because you mentioned someone you shouldn’t have.”

The person Qiu Baichu had mentioned was, of course, Sikong Jing.

”Now even if Qiu Qifeng himself were to appear, he can’t save you,” she said.

”If he dares to protect you, I’ll kill even more people. If he continues to shield you, I’ll have my father come and extinguish him personally,” she declared.

Lian Zhuiyu’s words pierced sharply toward Qiu Baichu and the others.

In an instant, on the cloud layer, Qiu Qifeng’s aged face distorted, his whole body shaking violently.

This was not a matter of not wanting to kill Qiu Baichu; this was a compulsion to kill—what should he do now? What action should he take?

Qiu Qifeng was suddenly overcome by total panic.
