Berserk God of War

Chapter 636: Chapter 636: Unreasonable and Overbearing

In that moment, the scent of fresh blood permeated the air.

All around, silence reigned, Master Zhang’s pupils wildly contracted, and several terrified students could hardly believe the scene before them, their eyes then shifting towards Sikong Jing.

The man in black beside Master Zhang, who was he—they, they, they... killed a student from the Holy Dragon General Academy, cleaved in two.

Finally, Master Zhang, with a trembling voice, looked at the cold Sikong Jing and said, ”You, you, you...”

He was completely unable to speak, his mind buzzing, overwhelmed with confusion.

With a slight smile, Sikong Jing calmly spoke, ”Back at the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, there was a student from the Holy Dragon General Academy who wanted to tear apart the mouth of one of my senior brothers. That student died then, and now this one’s dead too.”

At that time, simply because Shi Tingxuan of Cloud Dragon Mountain said a few words, he offended the student from the Main Academy, and a huge conflict erupted.

That’s why Sikong Jing said their nastiness was exactly the same.

Then, Sikong Jing asked in return, ”Master Zhang, you just asked me what I wanted with Lian Zhuiyu, right?”

”I want to challenge her, and then... kill her.”

The calm voice rang out, and Master Zhang’s whole body shook violently, his already unsteady emotions whipping into a frenzy.

Sikong Jing said he wanted to kill Lian Zhuiyu!

At that moment, Sikong Jing disregarded the trembling Master Zhang and turned to ask the few ordinary students, ”Could any of you brothers or junior brothers take me to kill Lian Zhuiyu?”

The ordinary students, still not recovered from their shock, opened their mouths but couldn’t speak.

However, the student who had just been furiously cursing Lian Zhuiyu was the first to react under Sikong Jing’s gaze. He said somewhat excitedly, ”Of course, I can take you there now.”

He didn’t know who Sikong Jing was, he just wished that Lian Zhuiyu and all the students from the Holy Dragon General Academy would die off completely.

The other few ordinary students looked at each other and followed suit, nodding emphatically.

But the next moment, they turned their gaze back to Master Zhang. They were utterly bewildered, not knowing who Sikong Jing was, why Master Zhang was with him, or why he wanted to kill Lian Zhuiyu.

Finally, Master Zhang came to his senses and asked hoarsely, ”Sikong Jing, why do you want to kill Lian Zhuiyu? Do you have a grudge against her?”

It was terrifying, Sikong Jing was likely to stir up unrest in the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace.

”I’ve only met her once, so what grudge could there be?” Sikong Jing shrugged as he replied.

Upon hearing this, Master Zhang was stunned again.

If there’s no grudge, why commit murder? Could it be that Sikong Jing had a grievance with the Holy Dragon General Academy?

Could it be that he intends to kill everyone from the Holy Dragon General Academy?

”Killing Lian Zhuiyu is merely because I bullied a young girl too harshly and felt remorseful,” Sikong Jing continued.

At this point, the image of the pitiable Gongyang Ying flickered through Sikong Jing’s mind—she was probably crying at home again, right?

Of course, the real reason for his murderous intent towards Lian Zhuiyu was that her actions were too outrageous.

At Xingluo Hall, Sikong Jing had already taken a dislike to her, and now at the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace, the recollection of past events at the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace filled him with an intense urge to kill, recalling how someone would casually tear apart others’ mouths and break their arms over simple disagreements.

This remark almost caused Master Zhang to faint; what did bullying a young girl have to do with Lian Zhuiyu?

”Let’s go, I feel as if I can sense that Lian Zhuiyu is bullying your students again. If we don’t hurry, I fear more people will be beaten to death by her,” Sikong Jing no longer explained but pointed in the direction of the town.

Thinking of the small circle of meridians within him and looking at the Main Academy student cut in two, Master Zhang sighed deeply and led the way.

The few ordinary students stood there dumbfounded, staring at the retreating figures of Sikong Jing and Master Zhang.

Suddenly, one of them said with a dry mouth and a parched tongue, ”Master Zhang just called him Sikong Jing, he’s the Sikong Jing from the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace.”

Upon hearing this, the crowd trembled, their eyes shining with a strong brilliance.

That same phrase, Sikong Jing’s reputation was like thunder reverberating in the ears of all Holy Dragon Palace members, and at this moment, the students of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace felt a strong resonance with him.

Because of him, they had rebelled against the tyranny of the Holy Dragon General Academy.

Because right now, they were being insanely humiliated by the students of the Holy Dragon General Academy!

”Quick, let’s hurry and catch up.”

Following someone’s words, they chased after him excitedly, knowing that a great show was about to commence.

A battle between geniuses was inevitable.

Soon, Sikong Jing entered Holy Dragon Town, where at the moment the atmosphere felt very oppressive. There were almost no students or families of ordinary students on the streets, as if it had become a ghost town.

Every Holy Dragon Branch Academy has a Holy Dragon Town, generally brimming with students and families peddling goods, usually abuzz with extraordinary activity.

The current silence only implied one possibility: they were coerced by Lian Zhiyu and his people.

The crowd proceeded toward the direction of the medical center.

At that time, Master Zhang, who had calmed down a bit, spoke again, ”Sikong Jing, if you and Lian Zhiyu don’t have a great enmity, could you simply teach him a lesson and not kill him?”

He spoke with a pleading tone; if Lian Zhiyu were to die in the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace, the trouble would indeed be terrifying.

Sikong Jing lifted his eyes and smiled, ”I can, I will consider it.”

If, upon real contact, Lian Zhiyu wasn’t that overbearing, Sikong Jing truly wanted to take the feelings of the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace into consideration. After chatting with Master Zhang, he found the atmosphere in the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace to be quite pleasant as well.

Sikong Jing liked the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, so naturally, he wouldn’t reject such a War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace.

Upon hearing this, Master Zhang let out a slight sigh of relief as they drew closer to the medical center.

The next instant, bang, bang, bang...

Just as Sikong Jing was about twenty or thirty meters from the medical center, a series of heavy explosion sounds emerged from within, and one after another, figures were violently ejected from the building.

Cries of pain and the sound of vomited blood rang out as several figures crashed to the ground, coughing up blood...

Master Zhang and the others shook, and upon close inspection, recognized that they were all dressed as War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace students, one of whom was their leading student... Qiu Baichu!

At that moment, Qiu Baichu was clutching his chest tightly, with fresh blood oozing from his mouth.

Thud, thud, thud...

Suddenly, heavy footsteps were heard, and two male students from the Holy Dragon General Academy walked out from the medical center, one of them looking down and saying, ”Qiu Baichu, this is the consequence you get for daring to speak recklessly.”

It was clear that Qiu Baichu had said something he shouldn’t have, causing the agitation of the Holy Dragon General Academy students.

And now, one of the burly students clutched his chest and roared softly, ”What did we say recklessly? We only said that we would seek negotiation with Gongyang Ying once Senior Sister Lian’s injuries are healed.”

The burly student’s words seemed unproblematic, but in the blink of an eye... whoosh!

A male student from the Holy Dragon General Academy appeared in front of him, grabbed his collar, and said coldly, ”Negotiation? Did you leave your brains at home? What status does Gongyang Ying have, and what right do you have to negotiate with us?”

”What Senior Sister Lian wants is her death...”

After saying this, he slapped the burly student’s face hard with a ”smack.”

The latter screamed in agony, crashing into a building ahead, causing a series of screams around him.
