Berserk God of War

Chapter 629: Chapter 629: Dominant Stabbing, Getting Rid of Surveillance

He threw out the Token, fearing that Sikong Jing didn’t know who they were, and he was ready to strike Gong Bei Qiang ruthlessly.

But Sikong Jing, of course, knew who they were.

However, after taking the Token, he pretended to narrow his eyes and asked, ”Are you from the Imperial Advisor’s Mansion?”

”Yes, we are the Imperial Advisor’s Hidden Guards, and we now command you to immediately put down your stick and cease killing.” They were forced to emerge from the shadows because Gong Bei Qiang absolutely could not die at the hands of Soul Eaters.

The apprentices killed earlier might be dealt with somehow, but Gong Bei Qiang was ranked 39th on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List.

If the Soul Eaters killed him, it would surely provoke the frenzied wrath of Xingluo General Academy.

”The Imperial Advisor’s Hidden Guards? You actually want to stop me from killing? Did you not hear how he insulted Miss Gongyang?” Sikong Jing barked sharply, as a faint hint of killing intent flashed by.

But no one noticed the slight smile tugging at his lips.

Nor did anyone know that Sikong Jing was not acting impulsively but had formed a new plan; he was indeed intent on killing a member of the Xingluo General Academy.

How could Sikong Jing act impulsively just because Gongyang Ying was insulted? He was not truly a guard.

”We heard it, but you still cannot kill.”

”Now, put away your stick and return to Miss Gongyang’s side. We will handle the rest.”

The two Hidden Guards said firmly, their gazes sharply focused on Sikong Jing.

At the same time, Gong Bei Qiang finally came to his senses, his fury boiling over as he said, ”Little guard, won’t you put away your stick? Your tiny War Soul Imperial Advisor cannot offend our Xingluo Academy. If you kill me, do you believe I won’t slaughter everyone in your Imperial Advisor’s Mansion?”

With two Extraordinary Realm Imperial Advisor’s Hidden Guards intervening, Gong Bei Qiang was no longer afraid.

He now seriously suspected that the guard in front of him was just a naive young man, completely unaware of the might of Xingluo Academy. After all, anyone with a clear mind knew that they absolutely should not kill him.

Sikong Jing frowned, looking at the two guards and said, ”He also said he wanted to slaughter everyone in our Imperial Advisor’s Mansion; might as well kill him!”

Oh my god...

The two guards almost cursed out loud upon hearing this and immediately said, ”We told you to immediately put away your stick and get back to the lady’s side.”

After speaking, the two with their Extraordinary Realm’s True Qi pressed towards Sikong Jing.

From their stance, it seemed that if Sikong Jing dared to propose killing again, they would immediately knock him down to the ground.

”Ah...”

Sighing lightly, Sikong Jing finally put the long stick away and said, ”Alright, I shall obey.”

Turning his horse around, Sikong Jing prepared to leave...

Behind him, the now-rescued Gong Bei Qiang also slowly stood up, emitting a sinister and terrifying sound.

”Little guard, go tell Gongyang Ying to roll over to me immediately; I want her to serve me now. I want her to kneel and repent in front of everyone!”

Upon hearing this, the faces of the two guards turned pale; this was going to be big trouble.

However, just as they thought things might be getting out of hand, a shadow of a stick suddenly flashed in front of them.

Spurt...

A sound of blood spurting rang in their ears as that sudden stick shadow struck directly into Gong Bei Qiang’s chest, piercing from his chest to his back.

The previously arrogant Gong Bei Qiang widened his eyes, staring in disbelief at the figure and horse before him.

Only to see the little guard had turned his horse’s head around at some point and impaled him with the staff, Gong Bei Qiang, trembling, extended his finger and said, ”You, you, you... utterly audacious, your Imperial Advisor is doomed!”

As he spoke, Gong Bei Qiang could feel his life draining away.

Sikong Jing, clutching his blood-dripped staff, said coldly, ”After sparing your life, you still did not appreciate it, and even dared to continue insulting and threatening our Miss. If you don’t go to Hell, who will?”

Having spoken, Sikong Jing violently yanked out the long staff, brutally bringing with it a spray of fresh blood.

Gong Bei Qiang also collapsed to the ground with a thud, twitching unwillingly a few times before dying beyond any doubt.

He regretted deeply. Had he known earlier how unreasonable and brutal this guard was, he wouldn’t have spoken carelessly, but it was now too late to turn back. A prominent figure ranked 39 on the East Plain Thousand Tyrant List, dead at the hands of a guard from the War Soul Imperial Advisor Mansion.

What was even more infuriating, he was killed by someone of a lower rank.

The two Hidden Guards, completely dumbfounded, stared at the dead Gong Bei Qiang, then turned to look at Sikong Jing on the Thousand-step Horse, their faces as pale as the most beautiful moonlight, then roared, ”Soul Eater, you are absolutely insane!”

Gong Bei Qiang was killed by the Soul Eater... The hearts of the two Hidden Guards were in complete disarray.

However, Sikong Jing merely shrugged indifferently and replied, ”I had already planned to spare him, but he continued to spout madness at the Miss. As a guard, of course I had to fulfill my duty. Gong Bei Qiang’s death is not a pity.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the two opposite Hidden Guards still had fiery gazes.

Sikong Jing innocently tilted his head and finally said, ”Fine, I’ll go find the Miss now and tell her about this.”

After speaking, Sikong Jing patted the Unihorn Thousand-step Horse he was riding, and then he swiftly vanished from the horse.

The Thousand-step Horse slowly wandered back to the stable, contentedly feeding on its meal.

Meanwhile, the corners of the mouths of the two Hidden Guards twitched violently.

Looking at the six corpses of Xingluo General Academy apprentices in front of the stable, their heads ached terribly, and of course, they had forgotten that they were already losing track of the Soul Eater Leader they must surveil all day...

With such a significant incident, how could they still be in the mood to keep watch?

”You... are finished.”

Just at that moment, the gravely injured Vice Dean Dou screamed madly, pointing shakily at the two Hidden Guards.

”You dare to kill the genius apprentices of my Xingluo General Academy, where exactly did your Imperial Advisor Mansion get the guts?”

”The Imperial Advisor Mansion is done for, you will indeed suffer the wrath of Xingluo Academy.”

As the crazed voice of Vice Dean Dou echoed, more chills spread over the bodies of the two Hidden Guards...

Then they glanced at each other, evil courage growing at the edge, as one of them abruptly charged forward, brutally knocked Vice Dean Dou and a few apprentices present from the Xingluo Palace unconscious, while swiftly gathering up the six corpses.

”Quick, quick, quick, let’s clean up the scene thoroughly, destroy all traces and leave immediately.”

A few breaths later, they had cleaned up everything.

Soon after, they covered their faces, took all the Starlight Warhorses along with Vice Dean Dou and others, and rushed out of the War Soul Star Palace. They now had to disguise themselves as ruthless bandits and must not reveal their affiliation with the Imperial Advisor Mansion.

In this way, at least it would buy time for the Imperial Advisor to handle the situation...

When the Xingluo Academy discovers anything later, the Imperial Advisor can vehemently deny that Gong Bei Qiang and the others were killed by someone from the Imperial Advisor Mansion.

In short, just destroy the scene, leave the scene...

Just as they dashed out, the upper echelons of the War Soul Star Palace, having sensed the aura of the battle, rushed to the scene but found no clues around the stable.

At last, they received a report saying that two experts from the Extraordinary Realm had ridden the Starlight Warhorses of Gong Bei Qiang and others and charged out.

”What on earth happened?”

One by one, the powerful individuals of the War Soul Star Palace were utterly confused. However, the theft of the Starlight Warhorses and the sudden disappearance of Gong Bei Qiang and Vice Dean Dou was certainly no small matter.

In the end, everyone followed the direction of the Starlight Warhorses and set out in pursuit.
