Berserk God of War

Chapter 628: Chapter 628: Shihun, Spare Lives Under the Staff

In front of the horse shed, there was utter silence!

Several apprentices were dumbstruck, and Vice Master Dou, who had gotten up in frustration, was dumbstruck too. Gong Bei Qiang and a few other Xingluo General Academy students were also flabbergasted; their Junior Brother Luo had actually been killed.

How could a mere guard dare to do this?

At the same time, behind the horse shed, the pupils of the Imperial Advisor Mansion’s expert who was secretly watching Sikong Jing shrank wildly, cursing under his breath.

”You bastard...”

Before the two supervisors could react, another roar erupted.

Gong Bei Qiang and the others exploded with True Qi, staring at Sikong Jing and shouting, ”How dare you kill a person from Xingluo Academy, I will tear you to pieces... Get him, kill him alive.”

As the words fell, a murderous aura exploded from the bodies of several Xingluo General Academy students, merging with the Starlight Warhorses beneath them.

The Starlight Warhorses charged out, heading straight for Sikong Jing.

Each of them existed within the Daoist Martial Third and Fourth Realm, their strength unparalleled when combined with the demonic power of the Starlight Warhorses.

Even an Extraordinary Second and Third Realm powerhouse wouldn’t be able to withstand their charge.

”Miss Gongyang’s guard is as good as dead.”

The apprentices behind Sikong Jing widened their eyes, having never seen such a terrifying momentum before. They pitifully looked towards Sikong Jing, silently praying that they wouldn’t be implicated.

”To save him, or not to save him?”

The two hidden Imperial Advisor Mansion experts exchanged glances, somewhat at a loss.

While they were hesitating, Sikong Jing had already cast a sideways glance in the direction of the horse shed.

”Ao...”

Sensing the command of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, a Unihorn Thousand-step Horse let out a long cry and charged out.

It appeared like a white phantom, flashing to Sikong Jing’s side.

Sikong Jing leapt atop it, taking the long staff on his back in his hands, and charged towards the several Starlight Warhorse knights.

In front of the horse shed, a confrontation was presented with a Unihorn Thousand-step Horse and four Starlight Warhorses colliding...

Bang!

The instant they made contact, the power of the Daoist Martial Fourth Realm burst out through Sikong Jing’s staff, scattering the starlight from one of the Xingluo General Academy students’s body.

The next moment, the staff reached the right side of his head, smashing it open. The second Xingluo General Academy student... died!

For Sikong Jing, this was all too easy.

But he didn’t stop there, taking on mounted combat was suicide. In an instant, Sikong Jing struck out with three more blows.

Bang, bang, bang...

Three explosive sounds, one had his head smashed, another was blasted into two halves at the waist, and another was sent flying with a shattered chest.

The first two died on the spot, unable even to let out a scream.

The last one managed to shriek in agony before he was slammed down in front of Vice Master Dou.

Clutching his chest, he struggled to sit up, his other hand shaking as he pointed at Sikong Jing and shouted, ”How dare you?”

With that, he breathed his last!

To the death, he couldn’t fathom why Sikong Jing would dare to kill them so brazenly, daring to offend Xingluo Academy like this.

Everything was finished in a flash of lightning, with blood pervading the front of the horse shed.

Sikong Jing sat high on the Unihorn Thousand-step Horse, staff in hand, majestic. His killing was as emotionless as drinking water, as he pointed the staff towards Gong Bei Qiang...

”Next, it’s your turn!”

The entire place became eerily silent, everyone either out in the open or hidden was staring at Sikong Jing in shock.

Five students from Xingluo General Academy, all in the Daoist Martial Third and Fourth Realm, one strike each, and he had killed them all!

Everything happened too fast, too fast.

Even Gong Bei Qiang and the two hidden experts from the Imperial Advisor Mansion had no time to react.

Gradually, Gong Bei Qiang’s True Qi enveloped his entire body, fully merging with the True Qi of the Daoist Martial Fifth Realm and his Starlight Warhorse beneath him, creating an explosive and trembling noise that resounded throughout the venue.

”I will kill you, I will tear you into ten thousand pieces...”

With a clang, Gong Bei Qiang drew his sword, and the sword light glittered in front of the horse stable.

It almost seemed like the sword light would tear through the void.

Gong Bei Qiang was mad with fury, having come to represent the Xingluo General Academy at the War Soul Dynasty with the aim of defeating Gongyang Ying. He wanted to beat Gongyang Ying and leap over the thirtieth rank on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List.

He also planned to take Gongyang Ying as a concubine, showcasing the power of Xingluo Academy.

Moreover, he intended to arrogantly assert his academy’s dominance in front of the students from the Holy Dragon General Academy and the Heavenly Dao General Academy... Yet, just upon arrival, a mere guard had killed five of his junior brothers and sisters!

If word got out, it would be a laughingstock for many, and he would have no face to return to the Xingluo General Academy.

Now, only by capturing this little guard from the Imperial Advisor Mansion and hacking him into pieces could he salvage some face.

That was the only way to alleviate the hatred in his heart.

The guard was merely at the Daoist Martial Fourth Realm, one realm weaker than himself. His Unihorn Thousand-step Horse was also no match for Gong Bei Qiang’s Starlight Warhorse. As rank thirty-nine on the East Plain Thousand Tyrant List, Gong Bei Qiang naturally didn’t believe he could lose.

As the words fell, Gong Bei Qiang charged out, roaring, ”After I kill you, I will go to the Imperial Advisor Mansion and demand Gongyang Ren kneel before me.”

Hearing this, two hidden supervisors trembled, and one of them exclaimed, ”Quick, send a message to the State Preceptor.”

The two sent out their messages in a panic...

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing slowly said, ”You no longer have a chance.”

Boom...

Swinging his staff, he collided fiercely with the charging Gong Bei Qiang, resulting in a terrifying shockwave.

Against all expectations, Sikong Jing—who was on a mount and at a realm inferior to his opponent—managed to withstand Gong Bei Qiang’s forceful charge.

In the next instant, Sikong Jing pulled his horse back...

Then he charged forward again, his Iron Bone Sky Bone in hand exuding a domineering aura as he struck with his staff.

Gong Bei Qiang’s face went pale. He raised his sword, which shone with dazzling brilliance.

”You can’t block this.”

With a sneer, Sikong Jing’s staff shadow had already landed on Gong Bei Qiang’s sword, and a loud boom resounded once again.

The latter’s body shook violently as his Starlight Warhorse let out a strange cry. Sikong Jing then pulled his horse back again before charging forward once more.

Boom, boom, boom...

Sikong Jing’s charge was incredibly powerful. As an Invincible God General on the battlefield, dueling with Gong Bei Qiang was akin to seeking death.

Forget that Sikong Jing’s mount was a Daoist Martial Realm Unihorn Thousand-step Horse.

Even if he rode a Black Steed of the Long Night Black Burning Army, Gong Bei Qiang would not have been able to stand his ground, so after more than a dozen charges, Gong Bei Qiang finally let out a ”wah” as he was blasted off his Starlight Warhorse.

With a clang, the sword in his hand also fell to the ground, unable to be held steady.

At the same time, the Starlight Warhorse couldn’t withstand Sikong Jing’s terrifying pressure either and fell to the ground with a mournful cry.

Yet Sikong Jing did not stop; he charged up to Gong Bei Qiang.

He pointed his long staff straight at Gong Bei Qiang’s chest, pressing him down as he attempted to rise, saying, ”You dare to covet our Miss and think of killing me, with just your ability?”

Looking down from his high position, Sikong Jing’s voice was cold to the extreme, ”Now, you can die!”

As the words fell, Sikong Jing was about to forcefully pierce through his chest.

Gong Bei Qiang also smelled the thick scent of death, fear flashing in his eyes.

”Stop...”

In the next moment, two figures flashed out from behind the horse stable; they were two experts from the Imperial Advisor Mansion. Both of them were at the Extraordinary Realm and reached the front of Sikong Jing and Gong Bei Qiang instantly.

”Shihun, spare his life beneath your staff; you can’t kill anymore!”

One of the State Preceptor’s Mansion experts roared and threw a token at Sikong Jing, which bore the emblem of the Imperial Advisor Mansion.
