Berserk God of War

Chapter 631: Chapter 631: I am Shihun, Guard of the Imperial Advisor Mansion

The oncoming expert was not just someone from the Main Academy, it was, damn it all, the despicable Soul Eater Leader.

Gongyang Ying was immediately thrown into disarray.

”Miss Gongyang, are you alright?”

Sikong Jing, uncaring of Gongyang Ying’s current mood, posed the question with an urgency befitting a responsible guard.

He had just arrived from the direction of the stables and immediately witnessed the scenes in the Xingluo Hall. Instincts kicking in, he had dealt a fierce slap to Lian Zhiyu, who was behaving outrageously unchecked.

As for the Imperial Advisor Mansion, should they avoid offending the Holy Dragon General Academy?

Sorry, Sikong Jing was playing the part of an impulsive guard protective of his charge, and what business did he have with the War Soul Imperial Advisor Mansion?

He was intentionally trying to escalate the situation.

Without waiting for Gongyang Ying or the others around to say something, Sikong Jing’s gaze sharply intensified, he reached out and ruthlessly tore away the veil Gongyang Ying had just put on, revealing marks of five red fingers on her face.

Suddenly, he was overtaken by a murderous aura, and he abruptly turned back.

Looking at the just supported Lian Zhiyu, Sikong Jing coldly said, ”How dare you strike Miss Gongyang, you all must be punished.”

No sooner had he spoken, than Sikong Jing twisted around and lunged back into action...

”What the hell kind of person are you, daring to hit our Senior Sister Lian... Ah!”

A student from the Holy Dragon General Academy, having barely started questioning him, was violently kicked away by Sikong Jing.

Following that, Sikong Jing’s entire body erupted with True Qi, bang, bang, bang...

His fists and feet added together, fierce colliding sounds echoed through the Xingluo Hall, sending all the Academy students from the Holy Dragon flying.

Finally, only Lian Zhiyu remained in front of him.

Lian Zhiyu finally reacted, her voice a mix of shock and rage, ”Who are you?”

”You’ll know soon enough...”

Sikong Jing did not respond but lunged forward again, his fist shattering the newly risen True Qi from Lian Zhiyu into fragments, then he forcefully grabbed her collar while his other hand swung out...

Slap, slap, slap, slap!

Sikong Jing’s hand, like a storm, furiously landed on both sides of Lian Zhiyu’s face, resounding clearly throughout the hall.

The inside and outside of the Xingluo Hall watched dumbfounded at the scene, dead silence prevailing, even Gongyang Ying could not react in time.

It was too cruel, too terrifying.

”Ah!”

As the last slap landed, like a wild cat, Lian Zhiyu screeched miserably as she flew out, landing on the ground spitting blood continuously, her face swollen beyond recognition.

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing was still overflowing with murderous intent, his cold voice echoing, ”Dare to hit Miss Gongyang, payback a hundredfold.”

The echo vibrated through the Xingluo Hall, everyone staring fixedly at Sikong Jing, utterly shocked.

A hundredfold?

Just now, this man in black had delivered a full one hundred slaps to Lian Zhiyu, utterly brutal.

”Who exactly are you, have the guts to state your name.”

At this moment, a just-kicked-away student from the Holy Dragon General Academy rushed over, helping Lian Zhiyu and frantically questioning.

Hearing this, observers from three Subacademies all turned their gaze towards him.

They, too, wanted to know who this sudden black-clad man was.

He appeared to be in his thirties and with a move from the Daoist Martial Fourth Realm, had blown away Lian Zhiyu, not someone easily dismissed.

His merciless beating of Lian Zhiyu was proof enough that his background was possibly no weaker than the Three Great Academies.

Sikong Jing swept his gaze over the crowd, declaring, ”I, from the Soul Eater faction, am the personal guard of Miss Gongyang of the Imperial Advisor Mansion.”

The crowd, upon hearing this, instinctively exclaimed in awe, ”This man has such an intense aura; so, he is from the Imperial Advisor Mansion... What, just from the Imperial Advisor Mansion? Just a personal guard to Miss Gongyang?”

Because Sikong Jing had declared his name with such a formidable aura, everyone initially thought he belonged to some powerful force, but then midway through their admiration they realized he was merely a guard.

Damn it, what’s a mere guard acting so mighty for?

And how dare he attack Lian Zhiyu?

Sikong Jing disregarded the surrounding stares and walked back to Gongyang Ying’s side. He saluted with a fist and said, ”Miss, I have followed your orders and returned the slap to your despised woman a hundredfold.”

At this moment, Gongyang Ying finally snapped back to reality, yet her face beneath her pulled-down veil changed from red to blue, then from blue to white, and back to red again.

Indeed, it felt great to hit back...

But damn it, you struck without discerning the right from wrong. Did you not know that she is from the Holy Dragon General Academy?

Moreover, after hitting her, you arrogantly claimed it was your personal guard who did it.

What a mess, how are we supposed to handle this now?

”Gongyang Ying, you’ve really got some nerve...”

As Gongyang Ying was mentally distressed, Lian Zhiyu’s voice squeezed out from between her clenched teeth, roaring through the hall.

Instantly, a murderous aura surged throughout the Xingluo Hall.

Lian Zhiyu stood up with a face swollen like a pig’s head, her slitted eyes shooting deadly intents.

”You really dared to hit me and even had your guard humiliate me. I will flay and debone both you and your grandfather, the Imperial Advisor—ahhhhh!” Lian Zhiyu screamed murderously, obviously infuriated to her limits.

Her True Qi, which also reached the Daoist Martial Fifth Realm, filled the entire Xingluo Hall.

In Lian Zhiyu’s eyes, since Sikong Jing was Gongyang Ying’s guard, he must certainly be acting under Gongyang Ying’s orders.

On the other hand, Gongyang Ying was at a loss for words, with her lips twitching madly, completely unsure how to defend herself.

Was she supposed to say that she hadn’t ordered the guard to hit you, that she wouldn’t have dared to do it herself?

If she said that, where would the honor of the Imperial Advisor Mansion go? Yet, not saying it would deeply offend the Holy Dragon General Academy. Gongyang Ying was cursively furious with Soul Eater.

What was he thinking, being so rash? He’s literally insane!

The next instant, the mad Soul Eater Leader in Gongyang Ying’s eyes suddenly turned around, equally radiating a terrifying killing intent.

”Very well, very well, you dare to threaten Miss Gongyang, do you? Then go to hell!”

As he spoke, Sikong Jing moved again and grabbed Lian Zhiyu by the neck, brimming with killing intent.

”Stop...”

Just as Sikong Jing seemed about to twist her neck, Gongyang Ying’s voice finally shrieked out.

This time, she realized she could not let Lian Zhiyu die at the hands of Soul Eater.

Sikong Jing paused and looked at Gongyang Ying, saying coldly, ”Miss, if this wretched woman dares to threaten you, I’ll send her to her grave right now.”

”Soul Eater, I fucking told you to stop,” Gongyang Ying couldn’t help but curse out loud.

Feigning confusion, Sikong Jing casually threw Lian Zhiyu to the ground, looking bewilderingly at Gongyang Ying.

Seeing that Lian Zhiyu wasn’t killed, Gongyang Ying finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She then coldly walked out, looking down at the furiously coughing Lian Zhiyu.

”Lian Zhiyu, you hit me first, why can’t I hit you back? What could you possibly do since I’ve already slapped you?”

”I, Gongyang Ying, am I supposed to be afraid of some coward that refuses a challenge?”

Her voice was full of force and resolute, she finally understood she couldn’t just keep retreating.

It’s true the opponent was a True Inheritor Student from the Holy Dragon General Academy, but surely, they wouldn’t shamelessly deploy several Reverse Soul fighters just to take revenge for Lian Zhiyu, right?

The most important thing now was to take a strong stance, especially since that bastard Soul Eater was a guard from the Imperial Advisor Mansion.
