Berserk God of War

Chapter 617: Chapter 617: Moon Soul Battle Body

The two continued to fight, constantly changing their moves...

However, Sikong Jing had not used his strongest Six Symbols Divine Dragon Sword Skill and the Blood Devouring Demon Claw; he had not used many Beast Skills either, only employing the Iron Bone Flying Sky Stick and three Martial Skills from the Tieshan Sect.

As a result, his fight with Gongyang Ying was evenly matched, and he couldn’t help feeling awed by how formidable Gongyang Ying was.

Unknowingly, the two had fought from the top of the city walls to the ground below.

Suddenly, Sikong Jing fiercely leaped back, raising his stick in front of him, and said, ”Stop, neither of us can do anything to the other.”

Upon hearing this, Gongyang Ying gripped her sword and shouted, ”Withdraw the troops. Do not advance to Youyuan Twelve States.”

Clearly, she had no intention of stopping. Just now, she had said only if she defeated him would she cancel the plans to advance to Youyuan Twelve States.

And Sikong Jing directly shook his head and refused, ”That, I cannot do.”

Hum!

As soon as Sikong Jing finished speaking, Gongyang Ying suddenly became shrouded in a silver glow, as if she were bathed in the afterglow of moonlight, making her appear holy and mysteriously unapproachable.

Instantly, Sikong Jing stared in shock, his pupils shrinking sharply as he exclaimed, ”War Body!”

Moon Soul Fairy Gongyang Ying, was also a legendary War Body. Among the younger generation in the East Plain Northern Lands, there hadn’t been any known War Bodies until now... and it turned out to be Gongyang Ying.

She probably had known all along, only keeping it hidden and not revealing it until now.

Indeed, revealing a War Body would cause a massive stir; even the War Soul Dynasty and the Great Imperial Advisor might not be able to withstand it.

Who knew how many powerful figures would want to take a War Body as an apprentice, how many people would want to kill the War Body, or how many demons would want to capture the War Body for experiments, unless they truly had the capability to protect themselves.

Now that Gongyang Ying had revealed herself as a War Body in front of him, Sikong Jing was of course shocked.

”Yes, I am a War Body, a Moon Soul War Body.”

”I’ve never revealed this before, and apart from my grandfather and a very few others, no one in this world knows this secret of mine. Now that you also know my secret, do you still think you can win against me?”

Gongyang Ying’s voice was cold, and there were no onlookers close by, so except for Sikong Jing, no one else heard her words.

The spectators from the Soul Stealer group were still far away and had not approached.

Sikong Jing then fell silent; he actually still had confidence in winning.

Because he had not truly unleashed his Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness, nor had he used his strongest Martial Skills, but now he had to consider whether he wanted to win... because if he won, his identity as a War Body would also be revealed.

That was not something Sikong Jing wanted people to know; it too, needed to be well concealed.

”Soul Eater Leader, cancel the plans to advance to Youyuan Twelve States.”

Gongyang Ying, seeing the changing expressions on Sikong Jing’s face, said coldly, ”I know you can break your word at any time. Even if I win, it won’t matter. But do you believe that if I unleash my Moon Soul War Body, it will end in mutual destruction?”

”You won’t get the Thousand-year-old White Ginseng, and my grandfather will chase you to the ends of the earth...”

Gongyang Ying believed the madness brought about by the Moon Soul War Body was definitely not something a mere mountain bandit could endure.

Even if the Moon Soul War Body were to be killed, it would still result in a scenario of extreme madness.

Finally, Sikong Jing gently lowered his stick and said, ”Miss Gongyang, do you think I have a choice? Now I am a rebel. Do you think I have a way to survive if I do not desperately head to the Long Night Empire?”

”With the situation having escalated to this point, do you think the War Soul Dynasty will really let me and the Luohun Group go?”

The Luohun Group had already caused the War Soul Dynasty to lose face. Thus, whatever the Luohun Group did next, they would be executed.

Suddenly, Gongyang Ying also saw the truth clearly.

The reason the Soul Eater Leader no longer needed the thousand-year-old white ginseng was that he had caused too much chaos and did not believe he could keep it safe.

Previously, he was just a minor thief, and nobody would have waged a major war against him... But now, he had become a significant rebel, and it was likely that everyone in the War Soul Imperial City wished him dead.

He had no choice but to seek refuge in the Long Night Empire.

Realizing this, Gongyang Ying took a deep breath and said, ”Leave it all to me, fulfill all the previous commitments, and come back with me to the Imperial Capital. I guarantee that you and the Soul Stealers will not be harmed.”

”Of course, the precondition is that you will no longer engage in villainous deeds and truly reform.”

Having said this, Gongyang Ying slowly retracted the Combat Body Power radiating from his body and continued to stare at Sikong Jing.

”How can I trust you?”

Sikong Jing smiled, saying that he actually already knew, but he still wanted Gongyang Ying to say it himself.

”You possess the secret of my Combat Body. With this, you could threaten both me and my grandfather. Are you reassured now?” Gongyang Ying continued to fix his gaze on Sikong Jing, reiterating that the secret of the Combat Body must not be disclosed.

As long as Sikong Jing kept this secret for a Soul Stealer.

If something were to happen, it would immediately be revealed, putting both Gongyang Ying and Gongyang Ren in troublesome situations...

Therefore, Gongyang Ying and Gongyang Ren could only ensure that he wouldn’t be harmed and had to preserve his life.

Sikong Jing smiled lightly, put away his iron stick, nodded, and replied, ”Okay, I believe you!”

Across from him, Gongyang Ying let out a long breath, sheathed his sword, and said, ”I’ll write to my grandfather right now, and I’ll also take care of the upcoming War Soul Dynasty elite soldiers. Rest assured.”

The deal was finally done, fortunately, the Soul Eater Leader didn’t truly want to rebel; he still hoped to obtain the thousand-year-old white ginseng more.

However, Sikong Jing shook his head and said, ”Your letter must not mention that I plan to backstab Lu Lungan, at least not for now. I don’t want your grandfather to know... I fear that he might inform Lu Lungan and directly lead troops to attack us.”

Gongyang Ying was taken aback but eventually nodded in agreement.

Under Sikong Jing’s supervision, Gongyang Ying wrote the letter, mainly about how his Moon Soul Battle Body had been exposed to the Soul Eater Leader against his will and then about the thousand-year-old white ginseng...

He detailed all the bargaining chips provided by the Soul Eater Leader, and naturally, the last part requested his grandfather Gongyang Ren to solve all the troubles.

That is, ensuring the safety of the Soul Stealers and securing the Soul Eater Leader’s safety upon his arrival at the Imperial Capital, among other things.

Specifically, it was up to Gongyang Ren to figure out a solution...

Once Sikong Jing confirmed there were no issues, Gongyang Ying finally sent the letter out.

Sikong Jing then returned to the front of the New Thieves and the Fake Thieves of the Luohun group and announced, ”There’s been a change of plan, we will hold our position at Wang Hun City for now.”

The crowd looked at each other, and while the 66th Army Fake Thieves naturally supported Sikong Jing without question, the New Thieves were somewhat disgruntled.

But considering the terror of the Soul Eaters, they naturally dared not say much.

Half a day later, the elite soldiers of the War Soul Dynasty arrived, and Gongyang Ying stepped forward to resolve the situation. The War Soul elite soldiers could only temporarily stay outside Wang Hun City, waiting for orders from the Imperial Advisor, Gongyang Ren.

Time passed, day by day.

Five days later, a Divine Spaceship of the War Soul Dynasty arrived.

On it was a young eunuch who held an imperial edict and proclaimed, ”By the Emperor’s decree, although the Soul Stealers in Wang Hun State have committed many evils, the leader of the Soul Eaters’ ability to lead troops has pleased His Majesty. Given his remorse, he wishes to disband the Soul Stealers.”

”Now, entrusting the Soul Stealers with amnesty for their dissolution and appointing the Soul Eater as guard of the Imperial Advisor Mansion, let this be decreed.”

As the announcement concluded, the million Soul Stealers burst into uproar, their eyes wide as they stared at Sikong Jing, their faces flushed with emotion.

They were fighting fiercely, and then suddenly they were disbanded. How could they possibly be content?
