Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1162: Chapter 954: Elisui Still Came

Celene still couldn’t understand, but she had become very accustomed to the vast differences in thought between Shaer and herself, so she merely sighed and said, “You always have your own ideas, and all I can do is watch.

I just hope that after all you’ve given, you won’t be left with only disappointment in the end.”

Shaer’s mouth twitched uncontrollably: “Ever since a Sun appeared in the Toril World, I have never been able to fully trust anyone.

Everything I do does not exceed my own bottom line.

There’s no need for you to worry.”

Celene circled a few times in the silver-blue moonlight… She knew that the Sun would be an eternal topic between them sisters.

Although she did not regret bringing true light to Toril, Celene would always be filled with doubt as to why she chose that celestial body and that Eternal Fire.

She truly felt that as long as Shaer’s anger passed, everything would be fine… So many new lives appeared in the world, adding so much fun to their boring lives!

If Amanata wasn’t that way, her sister wouldn’t have hated her for hundreds of thousands of years.

As for another existence related to the Sun… she turned her head and glanced at the Sun Peacock, who was pretending to sleep with its head under its wing… Toril’s first light brought forth this thing.

Neither of them was decent, it’s no wonder Shaer gets so angry just seeing them, and refuses to forgive her.

Celene slumped in a crescent lounge chair, idly shaking an ivory lace fan that could unfold 360 degrees: “Sigh~ No good deed goes unpunished.”

Shaer showed no intention of acknowledging her, instead musing, “If Elisui really comes over later, it will actually be easy to recognize.

The real Elisui hates being bound, so if she wears a veil and Elf Cloth Armor, it must be Villon.”

Celene said indifferently, “Even if it’s Elisui, it’s not her own will. With even a hint of autonomy, she would never make a move near Agleya City.

That child is so kind-hearted that she wouldn’t even trample a Zholar who yells at her, let alone come to an Elf City to fight you, Shaer… Think of how many Elves would get dragged into it!

She passed me a verbal message, which I’ll deliver in due time.

You don’t need to worry about killing her here causing dissatisfaction with William and Hill.”

She propped herself up partially, with a half-smile, saying, “I will also take action then… Rose, it’s not just you, Shaer, who are disdained!”

Hill finally understood why Lansendel was lying on the ground, pretending to be dead with his head covered.

The Lord of Dawn’s intuition, although often off the mark, was quite accurate in sensing crisis… Actually, it’s not just Shaer who was angry, Celene was always in a state of rage as well.

For both women and goddesses, their pride is an untouchable line… Once they feel looked down upon, they will never just strike back with a simple slap; an erupting volcano is only their lowest level of combat.

Of course, she hasn’t completely erupted yet, only because Elisui’s arrival was still just a prediction… Hill didn’t dare imagine the explosion Celene would have if the Dark Maiden really stood outside Agleya City.

But Hill had always trusted his intuition, thinking there must be a reason why he suddenly remembered her existence after ignoring Elisui for so long.

He silently glanced at the now bustling harbor inn, gently calling List: “Tell Terry, no matter what happens, do not leave the tavern… even if it’s a familiar Dragon.”

List quickly relayed his message back: “Mr. Terry said he understands. But he wanted me to ask you, sir, if he can invite Orosonte and the lady Singing Dragons to the lounge behind the bar?”

Hill silently looked at List and attempted to consider from Terry’s perspective for a while, finally understanding the Little Golden Dragon’s meaning… Terry hadn’t asked List why Hill wanted him to stay in.

So he must have overheard what Rose’s followers said to the Steel Dragons and confirmed these Steel Dragons were tempted… To Dragons, the Seat of Sakoxiel didn’t mean a Demon Lord, but rather the endless resources of the Bottomless Abyss, like Abyss Blood Refined Steel.

If someone could control an Ore Crystal Field of Abyss Blood Refined Steel, any Dragon would understand what that meant… Anyway, they didn’t care if the Demon Lord would be caught in the crossfire of the Blood War due to mining, if it died, just summon another one!

Isn’t the Dead Moon Magic Orb in Shaer’s hands too?

It’s normal for Dragons to have such thoughts; those aware of their intentions don’t need to consider how they think… The first Dragon to think of this was the Platinum Dragon God himself! It was his comment on the Witch Queen capturing Six Fingers for some energy-draining ritual, which caused that Demon Lord to flee.

Though always on good terms with Hill, knowing who was around Hill rendered Terry incapable of intervening… Of course, if Hill were in danger, that would be different.

However, Terry didn’t believe anyone could harm his friend… It’s not everyone who has the nerve to linger in one place with the Lord of Dawn, Maiden of the Moon, and Lady of the Night for so long.

So all he could do was find a secure spot with his drinking buddies, listen to little tunes, and watch the fun unfold.

As long as Hill saw the drinking buddy he was looking for, he knew what Terry wanted to do… Although Orosonte wasn’t good at singing, he had quite a few self-playing instruments, and Singing Dragon was a natural bard.

He couldn’t help but laugh: “Let him be, just remind him to watch out for Orosonte. Before a fight, Blue Dragons might not feel anything, but once he sees the Divine Artifact, he may not be able to control his desire.”

“Yes, sir.” Lis disappeared again beside Hill.

Lansendel was pretending to be asleep all along, but the aura around Shaer and Celene became increasingly murderous as night came.

When the Silvermoon hung high in the sky like a giant jade disk over Agleya, Celene laughed fiercely: “Heh~ Rose!”

Hill looked around in confusion, and finally saw that beautiful maiden at the edge of Neverwinter Forest… Tall and athletic, with dark, smooth, and supple skin, her silver hair flowed down to her ankles, and she held a long sword in each hand.

However, unlike the legends, her long hair and the shimmering silver radiance that enveloped her body covered her entirely in a soft yet constantly changing beautiful veil, cloaking her in a sleek and ethereal gown.

Although she walked with a nimble gait, her smooth long legs were clearly visible, but her vital parts were still pretty safe, even more so than in a bikini… Hill didn’t know why he felt a bit conflicted, perhaps because the contrast between the legend and reality was too strong?

He silently tugged at his own long hair… Turns out he did want to see it after all!

“Is the appearance Elisui?” Shaer looked for a couple more glances before saying in a flat tone, “Looks like the Dark Maiden has been in Rose’s hands for quite a while now!

Villon can even use her aspect.

If Elisui doesn’t hurry up and die, it might take thousands of years to wake up.”

She chuckled lightly a few times, then turned to look at Celene: “Help me… seal the Seat of Sakoxiel once more.

Then I’ll send your friend back to the Stellar Realm.”

Celene was stunned for a moment before waving her hand to call down a stream of silver moonlight from the moon.

The pouring moonlight intertwined with the shadow storm rising around Shaer, transforming into long interwoven chains of silver and black, firmly binding that massive stone throne.

The Dark Maiden, who was striding towards Agleya, suddenly halted, her veiled face turning towards that Floating Castle… Perhaps the Elisui deep in her soul sensed the familiar Moonfire.

Even if Villon could temporarily use Elisui’s aspect, he couldn’t wield the power of the Moonfire… Celene wouldn’t allow it.

The Dark Maiden paused for a few minutes, then continued on her way… Though she seemed to be walking slowly, in reality, each step spanned hundreds of meters.

Almost ten minutes later, she arrived beside the Green Forest of Agleya City.

The incessantly howling Little Dragons on White Dragon Mountain suddenly fell silent… Although recently having gained a stable life without want, these Little Dragons hadn’t lost their sense of danger.

As the moonlight dissipated, Shaer flew into the sky, seated on the Seat of Sakoxiel, heading directly towards Elisui.

Hill silently looked up twice, then turned toward the Crystal Flower in the pool… He had to strengthen the Water Maze Lock of Agleya.

A thin mist, following his will, spread around Agleya City, gently blocking the cold wind blowing from beside Elisui.

Shaer’s icy voice resonated across the land: “Elisui? No, you’d better be called Villon, right?

What made you abandon your sincerely loving sister and choose the filthy and vile Rose?”

“It’s pointless to say that.” The tall Black Elf slightly lowered his head, speaking with a trace of regret, “Everything was destined long ago… My soul hasn’t belonged to me for a long time.

Elisui always wanted to save me, I certainly knew.

But alas… we weren’t fated for that.

Lady of the Night, there’s no need to say more; I have only one path, to fight to the death.”

She waved the swords in her hands, accompanied by a string of clear bell sounds… just like the gentle laughter of his sister, accompanying him in facing death head-on… charging towards Shaer in midair.

Celene coldly snorted: “Rose… really thinks she can win?”

She slowly stood, merging into the moonlight with the crescent moon behind her, disappearing off to whereabouts unknown.

In the air, Shaer’s fingers moved slightly, and the dark Crystal Ball in her hand began to spin rapidly in the air… waves of black Moon Blades crashed directly toward Villon.
