Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1033: Chapter 827: The First Unanimously Approved Proposal

The divine beasts did not persist for long… To them, the other side of the Alamir Mountain was not within the original territorial boundary of Kalinsan.

For these elemental giants with a strong sense of territoriality, as long as their own territory is not violated, there’s no need to risk their lives for expansion… Even though the crystal cores of those unfortunate beasts that perished were quickly collected by their companions… In order to save these guys, the divine beasts even paid an extra life.

As for the air god creatures, those who died were the little ones transformed by the Element Mages… The power of Meteor Fire Rain was quite large, so the large air god creatures didn’t approach that section of the wall too closely, thus avoiding the pain of being immobilized to death… If the subordinates who took refuge die, so be it, it’s not like they can’t resurrect, just a few thousand years of slumber.

The elemental giants have a different sense of time compared to humans, otherwise, they wouldn’t still behave as they did thousands of years ago after being sealed for millennia.

Therefore, the Undead Tribe on the wall could only stare blankly at these divine beasts leaving in a cloud of dust… On the way, there was another fight because the air god creatures mocked the fire god creatures for losing a few extra lives.

From the way those divine beasts picked up the crystal cores with their heads down, it seems that the casualties from this skirmish might be more than those at the wall of the Undead Tribe.

The Undead Tribe felt a bit overwhelmed… After all, Vila couldn’t just be planting trees in the Alamir Mountain Range, she would definitely go to the Mil Forest after completing the restoration here.

Although there is a big plain separating the Alamir Mountain and Mil Forest, those with good eyesight among the Undead Tribe could see that almost all the outskirts of that forest across the plain have wilted and fallen… The divine beasts didn’t necessarily intend to turn Kalinsan into a desert, but when they fight, they don’t consider the forest’s existence.

Mil Forest still exists not only because it’s large, but also because the battle location of Karin and Mannan is in the Karin Desert… The level of the divine beasts on Mil Plains wasn’t that high, at least not high enough to wield Meteor Fire Rain with a wave of the hand, nor make storm rage with a stomp… Karin Desert used to have forests and lakes, but after their clash, it remained only lifeless sand.

A naturally formed desert always has some desert flora and fauna… But initially, Karin Desert really didn’t even have desert scorpions; the venomous creatures there now were brought over later by robbers who moved into the desert, specifically targeting the avenue from Karin Harbor to Mannan.

But for the divine beasts, they are indeed troublesome enemies… With health bars too long, they are too difficult to kill.

The only consolation is that William was generous enough, providing plenty of experience, and not lacking in merit points.

‘Snow Cloud Peak,’ along with two deputy commanders and participating clan leaders, discussed the situation and all felt the divine beasts would not attack again, thus deciding to repair the wall first and then leave guards to defend it… Divine beasts can’t conduct sneak attacks.

With their rumbling background sound, even organizing a defense after sounding the alarm wouldn’t be a problem for the Undead Tribe.

After all, according to today’s battle statistics, even if these divine beasts attack the 20-meter-tall, 10-meter-wide Great Wall wantonly, it could hold out for two hours without any issues.

The most crucial problem now for the Undead Tribe is to properly discuss what to do after going to the plains… Without needing to climb mountains thousands of meters high, attacking would be easier for the divine beasts.

Vila has clearly shown a side of poverty… This Little Fairy Queen probably can’t afford the expenses to build the Magic Great Wall.

The management of the Undead Tribe, sitting in circles, was unusually silent… Since the NPC is too poor, they had to consider a cost-saving combat method, making them a bit clueless.

Is this an issue that someone playing a game should consider?

“Young Master.” ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ hesitantly spoke, “Does Vila have to rebuild the natural cycle in every place in Kalinsan? Can we go directly to Mil Forest?”

‘Young Master’ looked confused at the group of serious-looking clan leaders beside him: “Ah? This side of Alamir Mountain Range is done, Vila will definitely go directly to Mil Forest!

Don’t you know?”

‘Snow Cloud Peak’s’ mouth twitched as he almost spelled out one word at a time: “We- Don’t- Know!”

He took out his tablet, swiping it hard with his hand: “The battle plan related to Mil Plains I sent you a few days ago, didn’t you show it to Vila?”

“Ah?” ‘Young Master’ said, bewildered, “I thought you wanted to fight yourself; Vila’s target is only the Alamir Mountain Range and Mil Forest!

I remember…”

“Remember my ass!” ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ couldn’t hold it anymore, yelling into ‘Young Master’s’ ear, “You haven’t told me anything!

You’re sent to be the liaison, not the Little Fairy Queen’s spokesperson!

You convey our matters fast enough, but say nothing about those of the Little Fairy!”

He turned to ask, “Anyone from Wenjian? Did your clan leader say anything after returning? What’s he been doing lately? How has his intelligence declined again?”

“The Little Fairy sings really well.” A Little Loli stood up and said, expressionless, “Their instrument performance is much better than our group of guys with no sense of art.

His biggest goal now is to organize a symphony concert for the Little Fairies.

Every day, he lives like a boy sleepwalking, the first thing he does when he logs in is to teach that group of Little Fairies symphony ensemble skills. Vila appreciates the Young Master’s ideas, and doesn’t care at all that he doesn’t manage anything… so maybe he really thinks he told you… perhaps in a dream.”

‘Young Master’ opened his mouth and let out a weak ‘ah’.

‘Snow Cloud Peak’ was speechless, and after a moment, he directly hit his own head with his tablet: “I’m really crazy! To think that he surely has no problem with such a small matter, I really didn’t send anyone along with him!

I should have known that the Young Master’s head isn’t normal…”

“I’m perfectly normal… ah!” ‘Young Master’ couldn’t help but argue, “I was just distracted, but it’s still in my daily record… just don’t know if I told you.”

‘Snow Cloud Peak’ glanced at him: “We’re playing a game, do I really have to get you a secretary?”

Then he paused, and after a minute, he said: “Ah! Right! I really do need to get you a secretary… and have to pay a high price… hey~ has ‘Lu Huayu’ arrived? Is ‘Two Lines of Bamboo’ still around?

I think this lady would be very suitable to stay by the Young Master’s side to keep him alert!”

The Clan Leaders all turned around, looking at the Last-Era Clan representative hiding in the corner… ‘Lu Huayu’ silently stood up and shook his head… no one knew if he meant he didn’t come or didn’t know, but everyone understood he didn’t want to get involved.

‘Young Master’ was furious, explosively furious, hopping mad… but no one paid any attention to him.

Nobody took action against him mainly because everyone knew it was being broadcasted… the Clan Leaders still hoped to maintain a good impression on the players watching, since recruitment is a lifelong task.

As for ‘Young Master’… he could certainly act up, just like that Apocalyptic Boss who never attends such clan meetings… Youth Journey of the Wenjian World, this clan prone to internal conflicts and where management might even fight each other, absolutely relies on Young Master to hold it together!

Without him, no one else could naturally become the Clan Leader as righteously… after all, Wenjian was initially the clan he invested money to establish, and many of its early members joined the game just to earn some pocket money… otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many people from other schools.

Once the clan creator ‘Young Master’ leaves, the clan would naturally collapse… these students from rival schools wouldn’t want to end up as Scattered Ones.

‘Snow Cloud Peak’ quietly gave a look to the Wenjian management who just spoke… judging from the tone, this must be the big sister from the music academy.

The Little Loli’s naive and innocent face was solemn: “I can get someone from the conducting department to keep an eye on the Young Master… but for him, staying by Young Master’s side means having to be vigilant and also being dragged into teaching classes for Little Fairies, which is really tiring… extra pay is needed!”

She glanced at the Snow Old Dog whose eyes were rolling swiftly, clearly wanting to change people: “There’s no point thinking of switching people from other departments… how many musicians do you think would still be willing to talk to Young Master now?

Singers are the same!

Unless you can find people from other schools… but military school wouldn’t work, would it?

If you really want the Young Master to behave, Sanda King is enough… although that sister probably doesn’t want this kind of life filled with constant rage every day, she’s always been pretty good at suppressing the Young Master.

But the key point is the Young Master doesn’t understand human language, nor does he speak human language, if he could, today’s issue wouldn’t be up for discussion.

In our academy, only the conducting department can communicate with him normally.”

‘Young Master’ puffed his cheeks, looking at this group of people… he feels he did nothing wrong: after all, he never believed he could do any work, ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ believed… that’s just the Old Dog thinking too little, it’s got nothing to do with him.

‘Snow Cloud Peak’ looked indifferent, turned around, and swiped on his tablet: “No choice, Vila isn’t too willing to talk to me or Rainfall, and only likes to tell the Young Master about things… so I’ll have to take this money out of the public fund, after all, Wenjian members never care what trouble their Clan Leader has caused… as long as the clan is still there, they can play.

They probably don’t feel the need to spend this money, let’s vote… it only passes if two-thirds of the Clan Leaders agree.”

After 10 minutes, looking at the tablet, Snow Old Dog showed an indescribable smile: “Aha~ I never expected, after so long, the first unanimously agreed proposal would be to hire a secretary for the Young Master!”

The Clan Leaders exchanged glances, and even took a special look at Lu Tai from the Apocalyptic side who was wearing a hood and expressionless… really interesting~
