Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2093.5- Complete defeat

”Above!”

Someone shouted, and everyone looked up. They saw, at a height of several meters above them, a faint mist had appeared, seemingly unnoticed until now. From within it, white snowflakes were falling.

The audience had already seen it and let out many exclamations of doubt, but the Huaitang Clan, deep in intense combat, was deaf to the outside world.

It wasnʼt until the snowflakes slowly drifted down onto their heads that they were noticed.

”Energy whirlpools?!”

The referee, being the closest, observed most clearly. He discovered these snowflakes werenʼt ordinary; they were condensing bodies formed from energy. Upon contact with any surface, they produced extremely small-scale, rapid explosions. They didnʼt affect the surrounding area much, but their strength was considerable.

A single snowflake was naturally not a problem. Even without wearing any defensive equipment, someone with a Furelai over five hundred probably wouldnʼt be severely injured. But... the problem was the quantity!

Before the Huaitang Clan noticed, these snowflakes had already covered the area outside the four squares, and their number was already incalculable.

Too many ants can still kill an elephant, let alone this kind of nearly unavoidable energy attack.

Huaitang Clan warriors kept falling to the ground after blown up several times in succession, their heads and necks a bloody mess. If not dead, they were severely wounded.
Sibier swung his weapon to hit these snowflakes, and the numerous small explosions occurring almost constantly numbed his arms.

If it was like this for him, one could imagine how it was for other Huaitang Clan members.

Sibier charged forward while swinging his weapon to prevent the snowflakes from landing on him, roaring angrily all the while.

This battle today was truly frustrating. From the initial passiveness, they had been suppressed throughout. Faced with the seemingly endless tricks of the Star-Eye Clan, the Huaitang Clan had no countermeasures and could only rely on their bloodlust to fight.

If they could make up the equipment gap, it might be manageable, but even though the participating Huaitang Clan warriors had exchanged for some equipment prepared by their clan, they still lagged behind the Star-Eye Clan in this regard. This left them overwhelmed when facing attacks.

Now Sibier no longer paid attention to the number of casualties. He estimated that if half remained, it would be good. The only hope now was to charge – to charge the formation regardless of casualties. Perhaps disrupting the Star-Eye Clanʼs plans would bring a slim chance of survival.

His own powerful combat effectiveness, along with that of Lola and some clansmen, was the only chance for a comeback that Sibier could think of.

”Lola, go there! Go there!” Sibier shouted, telling his friend, who was also the Huaitang Clanʼs other strong point at the moment, to attack the square where Lord Eye was located. They emitted those snowflakes.

Because they needed to supply energy to the snowflakes continuously, the Star-Eye Clan warriors in Lord Eyeʼs square all had their hands raised, obviously unable to move.

Amidst the flying snow, a small squad rushed out – it was Lola leading several dozen people.

If they really managed to charge to Lord Eyeʼs side, these few people would be enough to kill the five hundred defenseless Star-Eye Clan members in a very short time.

But then a shadow emerged from Lord Eyeʼs formation, standing at the edge, waiting for the enemyʼs arrival.

The Raini Grade mechanical war beast, lent to Lord Eye by Ye Zhongming, was about to make its appearance.

”Go!”

The voices of Chengliujin and Bashilu sounded almost simultaneously. The two teams that had been standing within the formation disk immediately rushed out. At the same time, the snowflakes stopped, and Lord Eyeʼs people withdrew their hands simultaneously, their gazes all concentrating on Lola and the dozens-strong team that had charged nearby.

Lola hastily halted, wanting to retreat, but it was too late.

”Since youʼre here, donʼt be in such a hurry to leave.” Lord Eye, wherever he was, chuckled softly, his voice coming out from within the formation. At that moment, his subordinates all rushed out of the formation disk, instantly engulfing Lola and the others.

Sibier bit his lip so hard it bled.

Even though the individual strength of the Star-Eye Clan warriors wasnʼt high, with five hundred against several dozen, Lola stood absolutely no chance of survival. Moreover, over there were also the Raini Grade mechanical beast and one of the Star-Eye Clanʼs clan leaders.

By now, the snowflakes had stopped, disappearing as if they had never existed.

Sibier also stopped not far from Lady Star’s square. He looked around somewhat blankly and discovered a fact he found hard to accept.

This battle was already lost.

In the earlier snowflake attack, several hundred had been killed or wounded. The remaining Huaitang Clan warriors were few. Those he had brought here, and the ones left behind, were already entangled by the Star-Eye Clan. Lord Eyeʼs square had completed the killing of Lola in a very short time, after which at least three hundred people supported forward, while the remaining two hundred surged towards them from the flank.

And before him, Lady Starʼs squad had also abandoned their position within the formation disk and was dashing over.

Despair arose in Sibierʼs heart. Defeated. A battle they had thought was a sure win was ending in defeat like this. Defeated at the hands of the Star-Eye Clan, who had been bullied and oppressed for so many years.

Why did it turn out like this? Sibier didnʼt understand.

At some point, he suddenly shouted madly, ”You bunch of trash who only hide in the shadows, you parasites who only sneak attack! Do you dare to fight me one-on-one?!”

”Although I think what you said is wrong, I... will grant your wish.”

Lady Star appeared not far from Sibier, looked at him, then assumed an attacking posture and said softly, ”Iʼm going to attack now.”

Two seconds after speaking, he suddenly disappeared from the spot. Before Sibier could react, four shadows appeared around this Huaitang Clan expert – front, back, left, and right – then together, at an extremely fast speed, rushed towards Sibier.

Sibier roared and defended, but his arm had barely begun to move when he felt a chill on his neck. The four shadows swept past him, and his body was severed into four pieces.

Sibierʼs head, attached to half his torso, hit the ground. Before his consciousness faded, he stared blankly at the dagger in Lady Starʼs hand, with only one thought.

...Raini Grade.
