Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2092.5- Brave Trial (3)

”Genuine energy strikes!”

”This attack method is too cunning. Seeing these energy entities wave their arms, I thought they could fight like war beasts.”

”Look, look, a large patch fell down.”

”Too bad, the explosiveness of these light humans seems average; the vast majority of Huaitang Clan warriors knocked down got up again.”

”Thatʼs true, but look at their weapons and armor. The damage rate is quite high.”

”This thing poses such a threat to equipment?”

”Here they come again, here they come again!”

Amidst everyoneʼs exclamations, the second batch of light humans surged out from the formation plate under Cheng Liujinʼs charge towards the surroundings, front and both sides.

Boom, boom, boom!

These energy entities, with automatic tracking abilities, once again met the reluctant Huaitang Clan warriors, blasting the enemies back and forth.
Although the shock wasnʼt enough to severely damage the Huaitang Clan, it also prevented several dozen from ever getting up again. Among them, probably only about a dozen were killed; the rest were seriously injured.

Originally, the distance between the two sides was only about a hundred meters. With the Huaitang Clanʼs sprint, this distance rapidly closed. After the second energy explosion, the closest enemies to the Star-Eye Clanʼs battle formation were only about ten meters away.

Cheng Liujinʼs team didnʼt panic; they launched a third attack.

But unlike the previous two times, this time, they no longer emitted five hundred small energy entities, but ten giant energy entities. These were distributed around the Star-Eye Clanʼs four battle formations, standing like door gods, making the Huaitang Clan warriorsʼ pace slow down.

The explosion strength of energy entities similar in size to them earlier had already been considerable. Now, being this large, if they exploded, it would probably be deadly, right?

”At a time like this, is fear useful?”

Sibier roared, swinging his strange weapon in a full arc. Then, his body twisted oddly, and the weapon bounced several times on the ground like a ball before shooting like a cannonball into the square formation where Cheng Liujin was.

Immediately, two Star-Eye Clan warriors were caught off guard and hit. One had his head shattered directly; the otherʼs arm was blasted into a mist of blood.

Afterwards, that ball-shaped weapon actually bounced out of the battle formation again and returned to Sibierʼs hand.

This was the first time since the battle began that the Huaitang Clan had achieved a result. Not only the warriors currently in the arena, but also the nearly ten thousand Huaitang clansmen in the viewing stands simultaneously erupted in a cheers.

Luola, on his side, was not to be outdone. His attack, much like his demeanor, was somewhat dark. Several cold lights flew from his waist. Just as the Star-Eye Clan thought he had fired some hidden weapons and focused their attention on these cold lights, these things suddenly flared with intense brightness, so dazzling that many Star-Eye clansmen momentarily lost their vision.

Luola chuckled coldly, swinging his twin blades back and forth. Streak after streak of blade marks struck the Star-Eye Clanʼs formation.

Star-Eye Clan warriors kept falling. Although some got up again, this somewhat underhanded attack method still claimed the lives of three people.

The cheering from the Huaitang Clan side grew even louder.

These two were the strongest warriors in the Huaitang Clan. The earlier energy entity explosions had merely pushed them back a bit, nothing serious. Now, making their move, they indeed slightly halted the situation that had been tilting towards the Star-Eye Clan.

But the two of them knew their own pain.

Their strength and equipment, not to mention those of the current Huaitang Clan, even on the Star-Eye Clanʼs side, were definitely top-tier. Yet their full-power strikes combined to kill only five enemies and injure three. This was far from their expectations.

The Star-Eye Clanʼs good equipment was demonstrating its huge effect at this moment.

However, after several rounds of suppression, the Huaitang Clan finally became the attackers. They charged near the Star-Eye Clanʼs formation plates and began their assault.

But this assault felt awkward, no matter how they fought.

Those ten energy giants beside them werenʼt for self-destructing; they were giant hands. Their fists and feet were immensely heavy, each weighing a thousand kilograms. Although their speed wasnʼt fast, you had to dodge; otherwise, being hit once would result in broken bones and spitting blood, at the very least.

Every Huaitang clansman inwardly hated this to death. How could there be such annoying things?

They hadnʼt thought of attacking them, but whenever their weapons touched them, they were immediately restrained. The same happened with equipment, fists, and feet. They didnʼt know what this was. Although hitting them like this did have an effect—these energy giants would dim somewhat—their weapons, fists, and feet were also temporarily retracted, only sticking to their bodies.

Only skill attacks could affect them. But each of these ten giants was immense. Hitting them once dimmed them a fraction. To shatter them would probably take some time.

This put the Huaitang Clan in a dilemma. If they ignored them, they were annoying, punching left and kicking right on the side. If they attacked them, they had to divert some manpower.

If they diverted too many people, the numerical disadvantage against the Star-Eye Clan would be too great. If they diverted too few, they didnʼt know when the energy giants could be shattered.

Furthermore, even if they made the energy giants disappear in a very short time, the consumed energy and physical strength would also be a major problem.

This dilemma made it difficult for the Huaitang Clan to decide immediately.

The beginning of the melee meant that until the end, the fighting would not cease. The spectators in the stands watched with rapt attention, utterly serious.

At this moment, the Star-Eye Clanʼs formation plates truly began to show their use.

The previous attacks had been misunderstood. They werenʼt the effect of the formation plates at all, but ancient formation methods Ye Zhongming had brought back from the Library Palace.

He had told the Su Clan there were only one or two, but the actual number was enough for the entire Star-Eye Clan to use.

But the formation plates themselves were indeed elite formation plates from the Su Clan, not exceeding peopleʼs understanding of formation plates, but certainly not comparable to those on the market.

Because Bashiluʼs and Cheng Liujinʼs battle formations were at the very front, they bore the full brunt of the Huaitang Clanʼs pressure. However, the Huaitang Clan warriors mistakenly believed the formation platesʼ abilities had already been used up, so when they charged in, they werenʼt particularly wary.

But when the Star-Eye Clan activated the formation platesʼ abilities, they were punished.

Both square formations simultaneously rose, emitting thin red strands. First, they clung close to the formation plates, then floated up, quietly hovering beside each Star-Eye clansman at the eye of the formation.

Whenever a Huaitang clansman touched these thin strands, whether weapon or body, they were all severed.

”The Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation!”

In the viewing stands, someone exclaimed in shock.
