Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2073: Slap again

Being pressed to the ground and beaten was miserable, just like this green-skinned monster now.

Its combat power was among the best of its companions, yet under the relentless slapping of the shoe soles that had transformed into phantoms, it completely lost the ability to resist.

At this moment, the problem of its only characteristic—being physically strong—was infinitely magnified.

In the post-apocalyptic world, whether evolved beings or mutated life forms, the vast majority evolved in both physical and ability aspects, or what could be called comprehensive evolution. Their bodies became robust, and they also gained magical-like abilities to use.

Only a very few existences evolved in a single direction, either physical or skill-based.

The green-skinned monsters were different. They had physical advantages that other life forms could hardly match, so they could often suppress life forms of the same level.

But this situation was not without its drawbacks. Once they encountered beings with similar physical strength, their advantage vanished completely. Moreover, their lack of skills would become another weakness.

Yani, being a Golden Corpse, had a strong body and immense strength. After consuming the power fruit, adding the Companion suit and its abilities, defeating a green-skinned monster whose agility was restricted by the golden spots was actually not strange at all.

If it werenʼt for its level being one higher than Yaniʼs, perhaps the entire fight would have been over in just a few moves. How could it have lasted so long with all that slapping without dying?

In the end, it wasnʼt until the green-skinned monsterʼs head was smashed that the kill was truly completed. One of the most powerful green-skinned monsters died in this frustrating manner.
On that side, Yatian had also entered combat mode. Fighting one against two, she was not at a disadvantage at all.

At this moment, the Doll in her hand had transformed into an archer. An archer clad in elegant and beautiful leather armor alone tangled with one green-skinned monster.

The archer transformed from the Silken Doll was no ordinary archer. She was a fully buffed archer. What does fully buffed mean? It means having all sorts of buffs. At this moment, she held a beautiful longbow. It was almost impossible to see her draw the bow and shoot arrows; all that could be seen were afterimages streaking through the air, landing on the green-skinned monsterʼs body.

The green-skinned monster didnʼt want to dodge; it simply couldnʼt, not only because of the golden spots on its body but also because the archerʼs firing speed was too fast, so fast that it couldnʼt even capture her movements. The arrows seemed never-ending.

It was hard to imagine that arrows shot by just one person could give the feeling of a sky full of arrow rain.

The metal arrowheads of those arrows indeed had difficulty piercing the green-skinned monsterʼs skin. With a wave of its hand, the green-skinned monster could easily deflect these arrows. But during its movements, several arrows would still slip through, hitting its body.

This forced the green-skinned monster to use one hand to protect its head and eyes, preventing its eyes from being shot.

But this way, it fell into complete passivity. Arrows began to land on its body one after another, with accuracy so precise it seemed guided. If one arrow couldnʼt pierce the skin, then arrows continuously landed in the same spot until that area was breached.

When the skin was pierced, the green-skinned monster naturally felt pain, so it could only shift its body to protect the injured area. But then another area began to suffer the same treatment.

The green-skinned monster was not without thoughts of counterattacking. It charged towards the archer several times, but the moment it moved, arrows would shoot towards its eyes, ears, and other places; any holes on its head would be attacked.

This made it extremely irritable.

It once tried to charge forward with its head covered, but this archer was as agile as a monkey, faster than the green-skinned monster even without the hindrance of the golden spots. Moreover, she kept shooting continuously while moving, which was simply unreasonable.

In just a short moment, the green-skinned monster had been covered in wounds.

It knew this was not a solution. Given time, it would be worn down to death by this archer whose actual strength was much inferior to its own. It roared angrily, abandoned defense, and charged towards... Yatian.

The green-skinned monster was not stupid. It could see the archer was summoned; the real-life form was Yatian. And now Yatian was fighting a green-skinned monster and was not actually gaining the upper hand; on the contrary, she was in a passively beaten situation. It felt that with just a little more pressure, this human would be killed, and the archer would naturally disappear, thus resolving its own crisis.

But... Yatian was indeed at a disadvantage. She was not a Golden Corpse; she was just an eight-star evolved. Her abilities were temporarily insufficient to defeat a top-tier green-skinned monster, even one restrained to a certain degree. But this didnʼt mean Yatianʼs strength was only at this level.

The little girl began to get angry.

The archer, who had been rapidly shooting, disappeared. In the place where she disappeared, a mage appeared, wearing a beautiful, ancient-looking magic robe and holding a half-length magic staff embedded with gems that looked like bathroom heater surveillance cameras.

As soon as she appeared, a thunderbolt struck the green-skinned monster that was charging over, covered in blood from being shot. This made the monsterʼs body stiffen, and it found it difficult to move its legs.

Then, a cloud suddenly appeared beneath its feet. Originally, it had charged to a place not far from Yatian, but this cloud carried the green-skinned monster backward, making it actually get farther and farther away.

During this process, countless wind blades appeared, starting to slice the green-skinned monsterʼs skin back and forth.

The green-skinned monster recovered slightly from the electric shock paralysis, but ice flowers appeared around its body. Whenever touched, they would freeze onto it, hindering its movements just like the golden spots.

The trouble wasnʼt only on this green-skinned monsterʼs side. Beside Yatian, an earth elemental almost as tall as the green-skinned monster emerged from the ground, its thick arms striking towards the monster, suppressing Yatian.

This green-skinned monster was very annoyed by the suddenly appearing obstacle. It directly pounced over and smashed it to pieces with a few punches and kicks. When it wanted to continue attacking Yatian, it found a water giant blocking its way again. After spending some time beating the water giant until it collapsed, a fire giant appeared...

The archer was fully buffed, while the mage was omni-elemental. And because Yatianʼs level was already eight stars, except for some spells with power equivalent to forbidden spells or large-scale devastating magic that she couldnʼt use, she could handle all other spells with ease.

The green-skinned monster trapped by wind blades and ice flowers suddenly felt empty beneath it; the floating cloud had disappeared. Its body was somewhat out of control. It barely landed on the ground but stumbled. Then it felt wind behind its head. It tried hard to dodge, but the hindrance from the golden spots plus the ice flowers was too obvious; it was still too slow.

So only a smack was heard as a huge shoe sole slapped onto its head...
