Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2085.5- Series of blows

Wu Qian stood beside a lake spanning over ten thousand square meters, arms crossed, eyes closed, resting. Behind him was the Star-Eye Clan Bronze Campʼs First Thousand-Person Team.

After Zhong Hongke transferred to become Deputy Order Leader of the Bronze Camp, Wu Qian took over his position.

After so many days of training, this was their first time coming out to complete a mission.

So from Thousand-Person Leader Wu Qian down to every ordinary Bronze Camp warrior, all were very excited.

Soldiers train for a thousand days to be used for one day. This applied to generals and soldiers alike.

Training so hard usually—wasnʼt it all for combat? Moreover, every Star-Eye Clan member had a strong sense of crisis. Previously, they trained for the survival of their race—a struggle in despair.

But now, cultivation and training were a striving in hope. The two were different but equally demanded full effort.

”Boss, theyʼre coming. If we set out now, weʼll meet at the designated location in twenty minutes.”

Hearing his deputyʼs words, Wu Qian opened his closed eyes. He suddenly turned to face his subordinates and said solemnly, ”Everyone knows that our Order Leader brought hope to our clan. Now, we are no longer the Star-Eye Clan wearing rags, holding rags, using rags, eating rags. Now, we are the Star-Eye Clan in full Ke Steel-grade gear, with some even having Red Condensation-grade, eating the best food, using the best logistics supplies! We are no longer a race about to disappear, but partners of the Su Clan! All of this was brought to us by Order Leader.”

The First Thousand-Person Team was originally the strongest team in the Bronze Camp. A thousand warriors listened quietly below, but their faces were all flushed red.
What the Thousand-Person Leader said, they all knew. No one understood it more deeply than they did.

”Now, Order Leader gave us a mission, not for himself, but for the Star-Eye Clan. So today, we must complete it, and complete it beautifully, not letting a single person escape. Once an enemy escapes, our Star-Eye Clan will face a full-scale war, and we might be beaten back to our original state. So, when the fight starts later, strictly follow the previous plan. Donʼt get so caught up in killing that mistakes occur. Understood?”

All members of the First Thousand-Person Team responded in unison.

Wu Qian smiled. ”No need to be so cautious; we... never intended to hide anyway.”

”Move out!” At Wu Qianʼs command, all members of the First Thousand-Person Team set off, walking forward.

……………………

Beikan whistled, walking at the front of the grain transport team. This mission was too simple. If the previous transport team hadnʼt been attacked, they might not have even sent a guard team this time.

But even so, Beikan felt the clan was making a fuss. To escort these tons of grain, did they need to send five hundred warriors? Not to mention the nearly hundred people driving the grain trucks; they could fight if they picked up knives too.

Beikan felt they were at least stronger than those Star-Eye Clan trash.

Thinking of this, Beikan found it funny because there were voices in the clan speculating whether the Star-Eye Clan was behind the grain-cutting targeting the Huaitang Clan.

Beikan, like most clan members, didnʼt think that Star-Eye Clan garbage could do such a thing. Forget ability; just in terms of guts, they didnʼt have any.

”Captain, a team is coming from ahead.”

Although Beikan didnʼt think anyone would target a grain transport team, he didnʼt slacken on vigilance. Upon hearing the sentryʼs report, Beikan immediately looked down at his terminal, which was transmitting real-time footage.

In the faint mist, a team of about several hundred people was slowly approaching head-on. Most of them were on foot, with more than ten large trucks beside them, resembling a transport team.

But after looking, Beikan exclaimed in surprise because it was actually a Star-Eye Clan transport team.

The Huaitang Clan and the Star-Eye Clan were well known to be at odds. Meeting head-on in this swamp, Beikan felt a bit of unusual emotion. But he quickly suppressed this slight unease.

Not only was he certain the Star-Eye Clan wouldnʼt dare do anything to the Huaitang Clan, but also because the escorting warriors of the opposing transport team were from the Star-Eye Clanʼs Bronze Camp.

Those were the lowest-level warriors, each with only three to five thousand Furelai, the highest not exceeding ten thousand, and that was at the Thousand-Person Leader level.

If these people attacked them, they would simply be seeking death. Not to mention anything else, the team Beikan led now had an average Furelai of ten thousand; he himself was close to twenty thousand.

However, despite looking down on the Star-Eye Clan, Beikan still cautiously ordered sentries to scout the surroundings to see if there were any other ambushes.

When there were five minutes left before the two sides met, information from sentries came back one after another. No suspicious situations were found in the surroundings.

This made Beikan certain it was a coincidence.

Looking at his subordinatesʼ malicious smiles, Beikan also felt his hands itching.

”Fike!”

A subordinate heard his name called and immediately ran over.

”When we pass by them later, think of a way to see what theyʼre transporting. If itʼs valuable, cough... weʼll... you get it?”

The Huaitang Clan warrior named Fike immediately nodded. ”I get it. Iʼll give the signal then.”

Beikan instructed him to prepare and to have his subordinates remain alert.

Soon, the two sides got closer. Even with the mist, they could see each otherʼs appearance without instruments.

”Fike!” Beikan suddenly called the subordinate preparing to cause trouble. The subordinate returned, puzzled.

”No need to probe. Weʼll attack directly later. These bronze warriors are quite rich, wearing all Ke Steel-grade gear. Today, this equipment belongs to us.”

”Tell those behind to block communications in this area. We... are going to make a big deal!”
