Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2081.5- Purple grade equipment

”The entry locations are here, here, and here, with two main combat teams at each location.” Guangyaoʼs gaze then swept over the responsible persons of several combat teams.

”The top-tier life forms going over are Deacon Tong, Mo Ye, Chuyin, and the Death King Tree. And this time, the Female Guard will accompany the forces.”

Everyoneʼs spirits lifted. It wasnʼt that they didnʼt trust other combat teams, but the Female Guard held special significance in Cloud Peak. They were the Cloud Peak Kingʼs personal guard, representing Ye Zhongming to some extent.

And in terms of combat power, they were also extremely formidable. A team of several hundred people, all eight-star, all in gold equipment, all with warbeasts above level seven. One team could simultaneously deal with two top-tier life forms without being at a disadvantage. If there were only one top-tier life form, they could almost achieve victory with minimal casualties!

This was an incredibly miraculous and powerful team, with combat methods others couldnʼt understand or imitate, and combat will as solid as a rock. They were almost the object of worship for all proud Cloud Peak warriors.

”Once we get there, weʼll choose some opportunities to launch active attacks, but the scale wonʼt be too large. The main goal is still to hold them back, preventing them from further encroaching on land area.”

Guangyao looked at everyone and said, ”Besides the aforementioned combat teams, once the teams in the mountain villa are reorganized, they will replace the teams previously stationed in the countryʼs territory. Those teams, upon returning, will also join the coastal operations, such as Little Pengʼs team, Commander Muʼs team, etc.”

After speaking, Guangyao gestured to Xia Lei and returned to his seat. He had said what he needed to; it was now Xia Leiʼs time.

The Black-Hearted one stood up, walked to the front, looked at these comrades, and said, ”This time, our losses were significant. Perhaps sensing our recent poor situation, our ʼBig Thigh Yeʼ timely sent good stuff.”

Everyone was stunned for a moment, then collectively laughed.
Big Thigh Ye—that was their leader, right? Probably only Xia Lei could say that in front of so many core members in such a formal meeting.

”Based on previous experience, this time, what Zhongming transmitted down is much clearer and more abundant in terms of information and other aspects.”

Before Xia Lei finished, Little Tiger couldnʼt wait to ask, ”Did Leader say when heʼd return?”

Xia Lei shook her head. ”He didnʼt mention that.”

”Let me continue. First, about weapons and equipment. This time, Zhongming transmitted down two thousand pieces of equipment at once.”

At first, when everyone heard Xia Lei say this, they didnʼt think much of it. With Cloud Peak Kingʼs status as a top-tier craftsman, wasnʼt making one thousand pieces of equipment a given? Everyone knew that even when crafting gold equipment, if the Cloud Peak King did nothing else and didnʼt require quality, he could produce twenty to thirty pieces a day.

But what Xia Lei said next made everyone unable to stay calm.

”Of these two thousand pieces of equipment, one thousand are at purple-grade or above.”

The people below were stunned for a while, then all made extremely surprised noises.

All purple-grade and above? Whatʼs above purple-grade? Seven-colored equipment? One thousand pieces?!

Everyone present now was Cloud Peakʼs core members, major figures in the countryʼs territory if taken outside. But what level was their equipment?

They had purple-grade equipment, yes, but definitely not many. Each person had only about two or three pieces. Yet, even that made them very wealthy evolved beings in the countryʼs territory.

Without Ye Zhongming, their equipment update speed had slowed. But now, after all, they could occasionally spin the level-nine wheel; as long as it landed on equipment, it was purple-grade. Plus, some of the good things Ye Zhongming left behind that could cultivate equipment allowed the entire Cloud Peakʼs purple-grade equipment count to exceed two hundred pieces now. On average, each person had only a few pieces. Some had more, like Liang Chuyin, Mo Ye, Xia Lei, etc., but each only had about five pieces, still some distance from full purple gear. It wasnʼt that they couldnʼt have full purple gear, but with Ye Zhongming not here, they needed to pay attention to equitable distribution of benefits.

But now, their leader suddenly dropped one thousand pieces. This made everyone feel like they werenʼt living the same life. They were all humans; why such a huge gap!

”Donʼt be too surprised. Whatʼs better than purple-grade isnʼt seven-colored equipment, but a kind...” Xia Lei thought for a moment here before saying, ”...equipment that isnʼt quite the same as the familiar wheel system. If we must compare, then it might only be a little better than purple equipment.”

”The remaining one thousand pieces are slightly better than gold-grade, just below purple-grade.”

At this point, Xia Lei deliberately left some time for everyone to discuss. She knew that otherwise, the people below couldnʼt help but talk.

Sure enough, discussion voices immediately rose. Everyone excitedly discussed what equipment better than purple-grade looked like.

”How should these two thousand pieces of equipment be distributed?” Xia Lei raised a finger. ”One thousand pieces, slightly better than gold. Of the remaining one thousand, five hundred are pure purple-grade, and five hundred are slightly better than purple-grade. According to the message Zhongming transmitted down, over in the Cosmic Races, this is called Red Condensation-grade equipment.”

Everyone fell silent.

Good equipment—everyone wanted it. But in Cloud Peak, equipment distribution wasnʼt a democratic matter... Even though both the previous Ye Zhongming and the current Xia Lei tried their best to be fair.

”Whatever Sister Lei says.”

”Right, whatever you say, Xia Lei.”

”Yeah, weʼve gone through life and death together to get here today. Can we argue over some equipment? Xia Lei, you decide. However way you distribute is fine. Itʼs best to give them all to comrades heading to the coastal area for combat; the enemies they face arenʼt weak.”

”Right, this distribution seems fine. Anyway, there will be good stuff later. Donʼt forget, our leader is Big Thigh Ye.”

Everyone talked and laughed, the atmosphere harmonious.

Xia Lei nodded, quite satisfied with everyoneʼs attitude. If it were the previous Cloud Peak, she wouldnʼt have asked at all. But now, after all, there were members who had joined not long ago, such as Five Rings Money, Cannibal Chain, Resistance Zone, Beast Villa, etc. Even if just for show, it was necessary.

”Since thatʼs the case, Iʼll distribute according to my intention.” Xia Lei said seriously, ”For the one thousand pieces of equipment, half a grade higher than gold, core members have priority to choose, replacing the gold equipment on them. The replaced equipment must be handed over to me for secondary distribution.”

”For the five hundred pieces of equipment, half a grade higher than purple equipment, that is, Red Condensation-grade equipment, each core member also freely chooses to replace the purple equipment on them. The replaced purple equipment is also handed over to me.”

”The remaining five hundred pieces of pure purple equipment, plus the purple equipment you replaced, and the remaining Red Condensation-grade equipment, I will distribute to the Female Guard.”

”As for the gold equipment you replaced, plus Cloud Peakʼs other existing magic crystals and idle equipment, I will use them all to spin the wheel or exchange with other forces for purple-grade equipment.”

”I want to make the Female Guard a fully purple-geared team!”
