Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2093: Complete defeat

Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation was not among the Su Clanʼs top ten formations, yet its reputation was more illustrious than that of many of them.

Speaking of this, there was also an allusion. The reason everyone knew the name of this great formation was that, a long time ago, in a campaign against parasites, there was a Su Clan formation master who was incredibly obsessed. He studied this formation his entire life, continuously enhancing its power and function, culminating in that battle.

At that time, the battle was unfavorable. Parasites surrounded him and many warriors from the universal races; their defense line was on the verge of being breached. Yet the formation this master laid out had not been activated. Finally, when the parasites had killed everyone else, and only he remained, he activated the formation. Within an area spanning twenty-five kilometers, countless floating red silk threads rose, slicing countless parasites into pieces. He stood at the center of the formation, allowing the parasites to charge at him, watching as those red threads reaped their lives.

In just over ten minutes, to kill this last person of the cosmic races, a full three hundred and seventy thousand parasites were expended. Later, when the red threads were completely used up and the formation could no longer be maintained, it was finally broken.

Although this Su Clan member was eventually torn to pieces, his achievements truly shocked the entire universe of races.

He achieved many feats in this battle, including a record for the most parasites killed by a single person. In terms of formations, he also set records such as the largest-area Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation, the most powerful Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation, the longest-duration Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation, and so on.

In the records and even histories of many races, this battle and the achievements of this Su Clan member were documented.

Although his sacrifice meant the loss of his methods for improving the formation, subsequent efforts by the Su Clan, while the power of the Scented Crimson Silk Dream Formation was not as great as that wielded by their clansman during his lifetime, still made it one of the Su Clanʼs signature formations.

No one had expected that the Su Clan formation disk obtained by the Star-Eye Clan would actually be the Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation.

However, after their exclamations, everyone suddenly realized that since the formation disk beneath their feet was the SceCrimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation, then the abilities they had just used could not possibly be it!
If that were the case, what were those skills?

For the moment, no one had time to seek answers, because the appearance of the Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation had already caused a huge shift in the situation within the arena.

Many of the Huaitang Clan warriors who had charged in were sliced open by the threads. Although those red threads, once risen, did not move again, they were just too densely packed.

The method for breaking this famous formation naturally became known to the various races as it gained notoriety. There were only two ways: one was to break the formation itself, and the other was to shatter these red threads.

The first method was not straightforward because an activated formation disk was extremely difficult to form. Its defensive capabilities are even higher than those of Raini Grade equipment.

The other method, naturally, was to break the red threads, using any means possible, including filling them with lives.

If a Su Clan member had laid out this formation themselves, naturally, a formation disk wouldnʼt be needed, making breaking it extremely difficult. However, facing this kind of formation disk, the Huaitang Clan had few options.

That only left the method of shattering the red threads.

However, there were still many Huaitang Clan members trapped inside the formation, unable to advance or retreat. If they attacked the red threads, they would inevitably be caught in the crossfire.

”Fight! Fight!” Sibierʼs eyes were bloodshot as he shouted at the Huaitang Clan warriors around him, who didnʼt know what to do: ”They canʼt retreat now. Theyʼll be killed one by one inside anyway. Since thatʼs the case, let them make their contribution.”

At the same time, among the Huaitang Clan members trapped motionless in the formation, some wailed, some raged, and some began urging their companions to attack them.

”Kill!”

Lola was the first to lead, attacking the Star-Eye Clan members within the formation, no longer caring about their own comrades.

Sibier did the same. With them taking the lead, the Huaitang Clan finally recognised the situation and resumed their previous offensive.

However, after the baptism of the Crimson Strands Dream-Floating Formation, which instantly caused the deaths of several hundred people, their morale was dealt a blow, and their attacks seemed somewhat disordered.

”The Star-Eye Clan truly deserves a new look. From their pre-war preparations, to their on-the-spot responses, to their endless stream of various tricks, they were truly ready.”

”Also, I donʼt know if you noticed, but before this, we all received battle forecasts. They stated that the average furelai of the Star-Eye Clanʼs warriors was only around forty thousand, with only their clan leader and a few core members exceeding fifty thousand. But look at them now. Although we canʼt estimate precisely, the combat effectiveness theyʼve displayed is far from a mere forty thousand. At the very least, itʼs forty-five thousand or even higher.”

”Two squares, a thousand people, are now holding off the entire Huaitang Clan force. If the two squares at the rear get moving...”

Amidst the discussions, the squares of the two clan leaders at the rear did move.

First was the square of Lady Star behind Chengliujin. Each of them placed their palms on the backs of their companions in front, forming groups of fifty in ten columns. The person at the very front of each column simultaneously punched forward.

There was some distance between the front and rear squares of the Star-Eye Clan. Many hadnʼt understood this before, thinking that with such a gap, support would take a bit of time if something happened.

But now it seemed the purpose was to leave enough area for the rear square to clearly lock onto targets.

The Huaitang Clan members were naturally also watching the rear square. It wasnʼt that they didnʼt want to attack; rather, the series of prior losses made it impossible for them to divide their forces. If the Star-Eye Clanʼs rear formation remained still, they were happy first to use their numerical advantage to deal with the two squares in front.

But the Star-Eye Clan wouldnʼt let them have their way. The rear square, after some preparation, began to exert its strength.

The ten people at the front of Lady Starʼs square threw a punch, but afterwards, it was like a stone sinking into the sea – no effect was produced.

The vigilant Huaitang Clan warriors breathed a sigh of relief.

At that moment, a change occurred. Ten Huaitang Clan warriors suddenly flew backward, spouting large amounts of blood from their mouths, parts of their bodies caved in, and they lost their lives before even hitting the ground.

The stands erupted in uproar once more. They guessed it should be the effect of the attack launched by the rear formation earlier. After all, ten punches were thrown, and exactly ten Huaitang Clan members flew out.

But what in the world was this thing?!

Today, they truly had too many puzzles needing answers.

Under everyoneʼs gaze, the rear square threw another punch.

”Leave this to you, Lola!”

Sibier knew they couldnʼt let the rear square continue launching attacks undisturbed like this. The strength of those ten punches just now was astonishingly great. Even he might not be able to block them. Moreover, the attacks were formless, making it very difficult to judge their point of impact. If they werenʼt stopped and the opponent kept punching like this, there would be no need to continue the battle today; they might as well just concede immediately.

Immediately, over two hundred Huaitang Clan warriors followed Sibier as they charged. During the charge, another ten warriors were struck and killed. By paying this price, it also signaled to the Huaitang Clan that these formless punches had a trajectory. So everyone began to take arcing paths, hoping to avoid them as much as possible.

They had only taken a few steps towards Lady Starʼs square when they felt a cold wind approaching. Many cried out in pain. Touching their heads, they found their hands covered in blood.
