Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 541: Chapter 411: Waiting for a Response

Zhou Yun really didn’t expect that Meng Ran would be the first to stand up and say these things amidst such a storm.

Of course, there were also people saying that Meng Ran wasn’t really siding with Zhou Yun or strongly supporting her; it was just coincidental that two incidents happened at the same time.

Meng Ran was simply speaking to the matter at hand, expressing gratitude towards Zhou Yun, and it wasn’t necessary to say she was supporting Zhou Yun on the violent incident at campus.

But those who could see clearly naturally knew what was going on.

Zhou Yun was still surprised when suddenly another call came.

It was Yu Chu who called.

Zhou Yun guessed that she must have seen the news and was calling to check on her.

”Xiao Yun, I saw on the internet—”

”It’s fake,” Zhou Yun said, ”The fight is real, she started it, it’s just that she didn’t win against me.”

Yu Chu: ”What exactly happened? Why did someone suddenly bring up your high school matters? Is there someone behind her instigating this?”

”Now I still don’t know, but it doesn’t matter whether she suddenly wanted to come out to hype herself up or someone was behind it, the matter is that she’s distorting the truth,” Zhou Yun said, ”Right now, I’m just waiting to see if she has any further response. Afterwards, I will sue her.”

”People like her deserve to be sued severely,” Yu Chu said indignantly, ”It’s so shameless!”

Zhou Yun: ”Just bad luck to have encountered such a person as a classmate.”

”I don’t even know how to comfort you.”

”No need for comfort, I’m fine,” Zhou Yun said.

”That’s true, after all Song Chi must have comforted you already,” Yu Chu said with a laugh.

After Yu Chu, Wen Xi and Liu Yuqian also called to inquire about the situation, while others expressed their concern on WeChat.

Zhou Yun thought to herself that her phone would hardly get any rest today, so she simply silenced it.

She returned to the set and met with Shi Luoqi and Xue Qin.

Shi Luoqi warmly hugged Zhou Yun, saying, ”Welcome back.”

She touched Zhou Yun’s face and said, ”We don’t need to pay attention to those malicious slanderous voices. Just focus on filming. Time will reveal a person’s heart, our whole crew knows what kind of person you are.”

Zhou Yun: ”Thank you, Sister Luo Qi.”

Upon seeing Xue Qin, Xue Qin put on an affectation of disdain, saying, ”Trouble has found its way to you again, huh?”

Zhou Yun shrugged her shoulders, ”When you’re popular, trouble follows, there’s no helping it.”

Xue Qin: ”Just don’t let it affect your state of mind while acting.”

”That depends on how good the director is,” Zhou Yun retorted.

Xue Qin just laughed.

Zeng Lili came over with a box of dried fruit in her hand. She handed it to Zhou Yun, saying, ”Want some dried fruit?”

”Sure, I’ll have some,” Zhou Yun promptly reached out, letting Zeng Lili pour some into her hand.

Zeng Lili: ”This morning, all of us were still discussing this matter. Your luck is just too bad, encountering such a classmate.”

”I was just saying the same thing to Yu Chu, but coming back to the set, I feel at ease. Anyway, the company will deal with these things, I’ll just focus on portraying my character well,” Zhou Yun hugged Zeng Lili, ”Did you miss me, Lily?”

Zeng Lili exaggeratedly let out an ’oh’ and said, ”Young miss, you were gone for just One Day, how much could I miss you?”

Zhou Yun laughed, ”The old saying goes, one day apart feels like three years.”

”You’re still like a clingy little girl,” Zeng Lili said, ”While you were gone, the director was strictly overseeing me and Old You for filming. You have no idea how long it’s been since we’ve had to shoot with such intensity, my scalp feels tight.”

”Lily, you exaggerate so much, everyone knows you and Teacher You are seasoned actors, how could a bit of intensity make your scalp feel tight?”

Zhou Yun leaned her head on Zeng Lili’s shoulder.

There was a sense of dependence.

The afternoon flew by as filming continued at a frantic pace.

The group filmed non-stop until eight in the evening before wrapping up.

The scene they shot in the afternoon was a confrontation between Zhou Yun and Zeng Lili, both tense and fiery.

”Zhou Yun, your tone is still not high enough, you need to be harder in temper, don’t reflexively show a face of trying to outflank the enemy. You’re playing Xue Yun, not yourself, she is not that smooth,” Xue Qin walked between the two, guiding Zhou Yun in her acting, ”She is assertive, but you are not afraid of her. Remember, you are the one with the toughest demeanor. When Mr. Zeng faces off with you, don’t subconsciously try to soften her attitude.”

Xue Qin’s words struck home and awakened Zhou Yun.
