Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 504: Chapter 387: Scene 1_4

Zhang Mo was somewhat bewildered.

But Xue Qin understood what Zhou Yun said.

She thought for a moment, nodded, and said, ”Okay, rest for two minutes, then let’s do it again.”

Two minutes later, they did it again.

Zhou Yun switched to a different acting method.

She propped up her arm, supporting her head, and just smiled at Zhang Mo without saying a word.

Zhang Mo didn’t know what Zhou Yun was playing at and subconsciously responded, ”Why, why are you looking at me like that?”

His reaction was like that of a guilty boyfriend.

Without a word, Zhou Yun leaned in, grabbed the back of Zhang Mo’s head, and turned her back to the camera.

In the shot, it looked like Zhou Yun was kissing Zhang Mo’s mouth.

In fact, Zhou Yun’s lips had only touched her own arm.

After a few seconds of passivity, Zhang Mo suddenly became energized like he had been injected with adrenaline and forcefully pushed Zhou Yun beneath him once more.

What Zhang Mo didn’t expect was that Zhou Yun would suddenly kick him right on the knee.

Zhang Mo cried out in pain and twisted to one side.

”What are you doing?”

His eyebrows were all knotted up.

Zhou Yun suddenly laughed with a mean, but brilliant smile.

She pouted and said, ”Didn’t do anything.”

Zhang Mo laughed despite himself, and pounced like a big tiger.

”Get off!”

Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo shoved each other, laughing and frolicking.

...

”Cut!”

The completely different second take was completed.

Zhou Yun sat up on the bed and looked at Xue Qin who was approaching, ”Director, how was it?”

Xue Qin nodded: ”Good.”

She turned back to Zhang Mo and raised her chin slightly, indicating that his cooperation just now was not bad.

Zhang Mo lay on the bed, grinning, and said, ”That kick of yours just now was too realistic!”

Zhou Yun: ”I didn’t control my strength; I treated you like Song Chi and just kicked.”

”Song Chi is just too pitiful!” Zhang Mo protested on behalf of Song Chi.

Zhou Yun proudly said, ”Song Chi wouldn’t think it’s pitiful.”

They readjusted the lights, touched up the makeup, and shot again.

By the end, Zhou Yun felt her stomach growling with hunger.

She asked, ”What time is it? Why do I feel like my stomach is about to start growling?”

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, it’s almost two o’clock.”

”Afternoon?”

”Yes, afternoon.” Zheng Xiaojue said.

They had been shooting this scene since nine in the morning, and it was still going on.

Shi Luoqi clapped her hands and said, ”Alright, everyone worked hard; let’s eat first, hurry and have lunch.”

Xue Qin took off her headphones, still with her expressionless face, nodded to Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo, and said, ”Go eat first, keep up the good work, and afterwards let’s do one final take to get a keeper.”

Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo nodded and got out of bed to put on their shoes.

”So tired.” She didn’t care about Xue Qin’s expressionless face anymore and just flopped onto her, ”Let me lean on you for a bit.”

Xue Qin reacted like a cat with its fur standing on end, sharply retorting, ”I’m someone who only slept two hours last night, let me lean on you! Move.”

Zhou Yun was shaken off by Xue Qin.

Zhou Yun: ”...”

Xue Qin yawned, ”I’m going to catch some sleep.”

”You go ahead.” Zhou Yun said and yawned, ”I want to take a nap too.”

Xue Qin rolled her eyes at her.

Shi Luoqi said, ”You’ve all worked hard; let’s rest for an hour. After eating, everyone can take a break to recuperate.”

”Sister Luo Qi is the best.” Zhou Yun cheered.

...

Acting, just like any other job, allows you to choose whether to be tired or not.

If you don’t want to be that tired, you can certainly choose to play easier roles that don’t require hardship, rely on your prior fame, and earn a salary that ordinary people can’t, living a relaxed and comfortable life.

But if you want to go further on this path, to explore deeper, if you want to be not just an actor, but a great actor, or rather, an Artist, then you must invest all your energy. It has nothing to do with how much you’re paid, or how famous you are, or even if the movie you are in will be a hit. No great actor will let any external factor influence their standards for performing.

Every profession may be different, but for any profession, if you want to reach a certain height, you mustn’t just rely on what others expect of you; instead, it’s about your own requirements, having the patience to endure the long haul, remaining persistent over the years, honing yourself, and improving.
