Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 503: Chapter 387: The First Scene (Part 3)

”Hmm?”

”I know that one day I will be as conflicted as you are today, but I also know that on that day, you will support me one hundred percent, just like I feel now, even though there’s some jealousy and reluctance.” Song Chi said, ”Just focus on the shoot. When it’s released, and we get to this scene, just cover my eyes with your hand.”

Zhou Yun bit her lip and smiled.

”We are professional actors. If this scene is necessary, then there’s only one choice—to shoot.”

”Mm.”

Zhou Yun laid back down on the bed.

Zhang Mo asked, ”Did you just call Song Chi?”

Zhou Yun gave him a cold look, ”Quiet.”

Zhang Mo was stunned.

Zhou Yun took a deep breath and said to Xue Qin, ”Director, I’m ready.”

Xue Qin: ”All departments get ready. Action!”

Zhou Yun swiftly sat on Zhang Mo’s lap with lightning speed, grabbing his collar with one hand.

Zhang Mo was dumbfounded.

This was different from what was written in the script!

Everyone present was taken aback, wondering what Zhou Yun was doing. Was she changing the script on her own?

Xue Qin narrowed her eyes.

Looking defiantly at Zhang Mo from a position of superiority, Zhou Yun asked provocatively, ”Aren’t you afraid that if I go back, I won’t come back?”

It took Zhang Mo a few seconds to freeze, unsure of how to react, because this wasn’t in the script.

But looking into the stubborn glint in Zhou Yun’s eyes, he too was drawn into the moment.

”Do you really have the heart to leave me?”

He grabbed Zhou Yun’s hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it forcefully.

The next second, Zhang Mo flipped over and suddenly had Zhou Yun under him, looking down at her.

Their gazes met and danced with the shifting light and shadow.

Their faces, features, and expressions solidified within the moving interplay of light.

Zhou Yun suddenly lost strength and said, ”I’m a bit nervous about going alone; it’s been so many years since I’ve seen them.”

Zhang Mo also relaxed, turned over, and lay down beside Zhou Yun, but he lifted a hand to pull Zhou Yun entirely into his embrace, gently twirling her hair with his fingers.

”It’s okay, if meeting them makes you happy, stay a few more days; if not, come back early. No matter how long it’s been, they’re still your relatives.”

...

”Cut!” Xue Qin called out.

Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo both jolted, as if waking up from the same dream simultaneously.

Upon waking up, Zhang Mo’s first realization astounded him. He was shocked that Zhou Yun had led him into the scene.

Although Zhang Mo was also young and not famous, having only acted in a few films and dramas, he took great pride in his acting. Having a stage play background, he was very confident in his craftsmanship, which is why he didn’t flinch when he found out he would be acting alongside Zhou Yun. He was a person with full confidence in his professional abilities.

He never imagined that on his first day of filming with Zhou Yun, he would be led into the scene by her.

It wasn’t that Zhou Yun was particularly strong. Obviously, in terms of technique, she was even less mature than him.

But in terms of explosive power and empathy in the moment, she had a terrifying talent.

Zhang Mo very clearly knew the moment he was drawn into the rhythm.

It was when Zhou Yun flipped over and straddled him, looked down at him—that glance seemed to pierce right into the depths of his heart; it was like the real, intimate gaze that comes from someone close after many years, containing one hundred percent trust and a whimsical challenge based on such trust.

In that look, Zhang Mo saw the gaze of a past girlfriend looking at him.

Memories came flooding back in thousands of strands.

Xue Qin walked over and stopped in front of them.

Zhou Yun sat up, holding the blanket, looking at Xue Qin.

”Finally looking a bit more like it,” Xue Qin said with a stern face.

Her expression might have been taken as criticism if not for her words.

Zhou Yun replied, ”I didn’t go by the script just now, but I finally feel relieved. Let’s shoot a few more takes, give me a few chances to improvise, I need to warm up a bit more.”

Zhang Mo stared in astonishment.

”Warm up?”

What did he hear?

Wasn’t that a formal performance just now?

Zhou Yun smiled at Zhang Mo and said, ”Going strictly by the script is too constraining. Let’s warm up first, then we’ll stick closer to the script.”
