Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 502: Chapter 387: The First Scene (Part 2)

This feeling is so... strange.

Zhou Yun felt as though she couldn’t dare to move rashly.

At this moment, Xue Qin suddenly sat up and faced her.

”You too, you’re not a doll, why are you lying here like a corpse?” Xue Qin looked at her dissatisfiedly, ”You have no reaction at all. When Song Chi touches your body, do you also have no reaction like a zombie?”

Zhou Yun looked at Xue Qin in disbelief.

The people around heard Xue Qin’s words and all struggled to hold back their laughter.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but sigh inwardly: Good heavens.

She suppressed her eye roll and said, ”I’m just shy.”

”I noticed,” Xue Qin shot her a stern look, ”Try it again twice more. There’s no alternative. It’s always like this shooting such scenes; very few can overcome their psychological burdens right away.”

Under Xue Qin’s insistence, Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo tried it twice more.

Just as Xue Qin had said, after trying it twice, the psychological burden and awkwardness gradually dissipated.

”Why are we shooting this scene, and you all should know the importance of this scene, right?” Xue Qin said, ”This is the only scene you have that clearly shows the loving relationship between the two of you to the audience, the turmoil Zhou Yun faces after returning to the country, the numerous calls Zhang Mo makes urging Zhou Yun to come back. All these are built upon this scene. It needs to convince the audience from the start that this is a couple who have been together for a long time and are used to each other. So it can’t be too lustful, nor too bland; it has to have that feeling of an old married couple who are past the passionate love phase and are entering a deeper level but still hold feelings for each other.”

Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo nodded.

”We need to get this scene shot today. I know it’s difficult to start with a romantic scene, but both of you are professionals, not newcomers. You can do it. So no matter how many takes we do, we need to clear the barriers in your minds today.”

Xue Qin said decidedly and with a wave of her hand, ”Alright, I’m starting to shoot. I’m not giving you more chances to try. I think if you keep trying, you’ll never fully get into the mood.”

Zhou Yun pursed her lips.

She knew Xue Qin was right. Indeed, during the previous attempts, she was still tense.

The shooting was indoors with no natural light.

Zhou Yun and Zhang Mo shot the scene over and over again. Xue Qin didn’t speak further, just stayed behind the camera, repeatedly calling for another take.

Zhou Yun felt her energy and strength dwindling bit by bit.

Zhang Mo felt the same.

Not knowing how many takes they had redone, Zhou Yun lay back onto the pillow and suddenly thought, if this role was played by Song Chi, what would it be like?

Would she still have reservations?

”Zhang Mo.”

”Hmm?”

”Let’s do it seriously this time,” Zhou Yun said. ”Stop thinking about other things. You don’t have a girlfriend, right?”

”Uh, no.”

”So, you are single, and I’m not.” Zhou Yun suddenly sat up, ”Wait for me a moment.”

She gestured to the camera with her hand.

”Director, give me five minutes.”

Xue Qin didn’t know what Zhou Yun was planning but agreed nonetheless.

Zhou Yun got off the bed and walked up to Zheng Xiaojue, ”Xiaoju, give my phone to me.”

Zheng Xiaojue immediately handed the phone to Zhou Yun.

She walked to a deserted corner and dialed Song Chi’s number.

Song Chi picked up the call quickly.

”Xiao Yun.”

”Mm.”

”You’re not filming right now, are you?” Song Chi asked.

”I am, I’m at the set,” Zhou Yun said softly, ”There’s something I need to tell you.”

”Hmm? Go ahead.”

”I’m shooting a scene where I need to be in bed with another actor, showing some affectionate behaviors,” Zhou Yun said, ”I’ve been unable to get into the mood, feeling conflicted inside. I thought about it and felt I need to seriously tell you.”

There was a moment of silence from Song Chi’s side before he started laughing, ”I understand.”

”I am a professional actor, and I can’t shoot a very necessary scene, but I can’t shoot it heartily without you knowing.”

”I understand.”

”That is just work.”

”Mm.”

”I will take care.”

”Alright.”

”Then I’m going to shoot now.”

”Xiao Yun,” Song Chi suddenly called out.
