Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 539: Chapter 410: School Bullying (Part 3)

Boarded the plane, dozed off for a bit, and landed in the wee hours of the morning.

The cold wind howled, as if the god of wind swept through the vast airport.

Zhou Yun wrapped her down jacket tighter around herself, got on the shuttle with Zheng Xiaojue and Cao Jun, then left the airport to head to the hotel where the film crew was staying.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, I received tomorrow’s schedule. There are no scenes for us in the morning, just head to the set at noon.”

Zhou Yun thought to herself, this must be Shi Luoqi and Xue Qin taking care of her since they knew she rushed back overnight, which is why there were no scenes scheduled for her the next morning.

”Then I’ll get a good sleep before heading over.”

Back with the crew.

Zhou Yun felt at ease.

It was indeed more reassuring to be with the crew.

That night, Zhou Yun didn’t sleep until 3 AM, and only slept until the next morning... 7 AM. That’s right, 7 AM. Zhou Yun had intended to sleep in, but on New Year’s Day, she didn’t know which kid woke up early outside the hotel, playing with firecrackers, setting off explosions one after another.

Zhou Yun groggily sat up from the bed, yawning.

The morning light was blocked outside the curtains, the room foggy.

She lay back down on the pillow, but the sounds of firecrackers outside continued to explode, one after another, detonating at the sensitive tips of her nerves.

Unable to fall back into a deep sleep, she could only wash up and go to the dining room for breakfast.

At 9 in the morning, Sanliu Media, where Sister Zhi worked, released an interview video on their official Weibo, titled ”Personal Experience Expose: Zhou Yun Once Bullied Me at School.”

School violence is currently one of the most sensitive issues on the internet, capturing everyone’s attention.

Putting these words into the title, coupled with the name Zhou Yun, was enough to capture the attention and concern of every person.

Not to mention, Sanliu Media is a large media company with strong influence and wide-reaching channels.

Without saying much, the uproar this interview video caused online upon being uploaded was immense.

This shock woke up every person who was just freshly awakened from a holiday break, clearing the sleep from their eyes.

Zhou Yun rocketed to the top of the trending search list, not just on Weibo, but major apps and websites put out breaking news, bombarding every viewer with the message.

”When did you first meet her?”

In the video, a woman with the pseudonym Xiao Bao sat in front of the camera, her face pixelated, saying: ”She was my high school classmate.”

”You said, she bullied you in school?”

”Yes, she hit me.”

”I’m sorry to ask this, it might hurt you, but I need to be clear, because fighting and discord among classmates is different from school violence. When you say she hit you, do you mean you two had a disagreement and fought, or did she actually commit school violence against you? Was it just her, or did she have several people with her when she attacked?”

”Just her,” the pixelated face indignantly claimed, ”But believe me, even though she didn’t gather a group to use violence against me, the reason she dared to hit me was because she had good grades, she was the top of the class, and the teachers never punished her, so she dared to hit me. Isn’t that school violence? Besides hitting me, she often humiliated me, calling me dumb, saying no matter how hard I tried, I could never outdo her. I admit that I wasn’t as smart as her, but those words she said hurt me so deeply, I had a long-lasting shadow over me that I couldn’t escape...”

”According to our investigation, she has always been the top of the grade while you’ve always been second. Is this the reason for the conflict between you two?”

”It’s not a conflict; I never thought of having a conflict with her! I just wanted to get into a good university through my own efforts. But she saw me as a threat, thinking that I might threaten her position as first, and she threatened me too, saying if I ever surpassed her, my life would be miserable at school.”

Although her face was pixelated, one could still hear it in her voice—this person being interviewed was crying.

”Allow me to ask another sensitive question, why did you choose to disclose this now? What I mean is, she has been famous for quite a while.”

”Because I can’t stand to watch her keep deceiving everyone, pretending to be so kind. Every time I see her laughing so innocently and carefree, it makes my blood boil. I want everyone to know her true face!”
