Three Towers Game

Chapter 300: Chapter 116: The Cheating Blind Man and the Serious Gamer Wen Xishu_3

[Please choose the mission you want to undertake.]

[Mission 1: The Power of Love.]

[Mission 2: The Giant Python in the Cave.]

Just like last time, there are no mission descriptions, no reward previews.

It’s probably like last time too, if you don’t have the financial ability, choosing wrong means death, or a fate worse than death.

Wen Xishu could only rely on his intuition to choose. His first reaction... was still to choose Mission 1, The Power of Love.

”Last time there were two missions, Family Reunion and Laborious Work. I picked Family Reunion based on the literal meaning. This option seemed heartwarming on the surface, but actually, it was telling me there was no family reunion; in the apocalypse, a family reunion means dying together...”

”So according to this logic, I should choose The Power of Love, anyway it definitely won’t be literal.”

”But what does the Giant Python in the Cave mean?”

Wen Xishu didn’t choose the Giant Python in the Cave. It was instinctive to think of the literal meaning, could there really be some kind of giant mutated snake nearby?

He didn’t want to deal with such creatures because he didn’t want the game style to get too far off track.

So Wen Xishu chose The Power of Love. But he still felt something was off.

Generally speaking, there really isn’t much new in zombie movies, they’re more cliché than web novels. Survival apocalyptic movies are even more so.

He really didn’t expect that in an apocalyptic survival game, he would encounter missions with titles he couldn’t understand.

”Drop your weapons. Otherwise, you can’t enter here.”

Wen Xishu obediently dropped the steel pipe. It was a prop he had acquired not long ago.

As for his initial props, they didn’t seem to be considered by the game.

Wen Xishu said:

”I wasn’t bitten, I’m healthy, I accidentally ended up here, I’ve gotten separated from my partners, can you give me some water and food?”

Wen Xishu directly positioned himself as a ”lamb.”

The owner of the villa looked around, made sure no one was there, and immediately became friendly:

”You’re very lucky to have met me in this zombie-infested area, come in quickly.”

Despite his words, the villa owner kept his hand gripping a gun all the time. Wen Xishu didn’t mind and quickly walked into the villa.

”What’s your name?”

”Wen Xishu, thank god, I’ve finally found a place with living people.”

”Alright, poor child, my name is Duan Donghuo. My mom hoped I’d be the fire in winter, warming others in their coldest times. Wen Xishu, you’re very lucky to have met me. Come in, have a drink.”

Duan Donghuo was probably in his forties, very tall, smoking a thick cigarette, and had a dense beard. He had an exclamation mark above his head.

Obviously, this was the NPC related to the task.

After Wen Xishu entered the house, Duan Donghuo picked up the steel pipe Wen Xishu had dropped on the ground.

Now, Duan Donghuo had both a melee and a long-range weapon.

”Thank you so much, I haven’t had a good sleep for a while, and I’m very hungry and thirsty, sorry for the trouble.” Wen Xishu cooperatively said.

He seemed like the NPC with standard lines.

Duan Donghuo seemed more like the player:

”Don’t worry, since you’re here and met me, just follow my rules and you’ll live well here. In the apocalypse, humans should help each other.”

”Come on, follow me. I haven’t had a guest in a while, but I’ve always dreamed of having one. It’s a shame you’re not a chick.”

After saying that, Duan Donghuo laughed heartily for a bit.

Next, he led Wen Xishu to the second floor, where the guest room was tidied up nicely.

Then he showed Wen Xishu the entertainment room. Yes, even in the apocalypse, there was a place for entertainment.

This was the most valuable part of the villa—

This room had a pool table, though it looked like it hadn’t been used in a long time.

There were several bookshelves, but the books didn’t appear to have been read much.

The most entertaining part of the entertainment room... was the TV and game console.

”I copied a lot of apocalyptic movies, and some adult films from Japan.”

It was imaginable that in his entertainment room, Duan Donghuo experienced the human apocalypse while watching Japanese movies.

This was reasonable. Wen Xishu noticed that the TV even had a playback record; the codes were from the NTR series.

It was clear that Duan Donghuo really liked the perspective of the blond guy who infringes on someone else’s wife in those Japanese videos.

Also, there was a walkie-talkie in the entertainment room. It seemed Duan Donghuo had made a radio station to find survivors.

Wen Xishu silently noted this information and followed Duan Donghuo to the third floor of the villa.

The third floor had three rooms and a terrace. One room was a study, one was chained up, and one was a storeroom.

The room locked with chains gave Wen Xishu some clues.

He seemed to understand the trick of this mission, but he didn’t say anything.

Duan Donghuo led Wen Xishu into the storeroom:

”Wen Xishu, take whatever you want to eat here, it’s all food. I’ll heat up some water for you.”

Duan Donghuo was very enthusiastic, but he didn’t leave. He waited to see Wen Xishu’s reaction.

Wen Xishu was used to this but still made an exaggerated response. He felt that Nissen and Xiaojin were good material for him to imitate:

”Wow, bro, you have so much food stored in your storeroom? This is amazing. The amount of food here rivals a shelter.”
