Three Towers Game

Chapter 291: After Modification: Chapter 114: Savior Game_6

All abilities are not very good. Not particularly low either, but there’s no specialty.

”Stay calm, stay calm. The dice cheated me, but at least it gave me the tri-energy. At least I have the attribute panel of the Slaughter Tower.”

That was the only consolation for Wen Xishu.

At this moment, Wen Xishu noticed that there were already many messages in the little envelope icon in his vision.

He clicked to open it and found something unusual.

[Eldest Young Master Ye: Very good, this hidden profession, social elite, is clearly perfect for me.]

[Baby-faced Wolf: Social elite? Ha, you are good, but you are destined not to be the protagonist. My hidden profession is Urban War God. Unexpectedly, the Deceit Tower knows my real identity. It seems I can no longer hide.]

If it were just these two talking, Wen Xishu would only think they were two abstract players going crazy.

But Zhang Hai’s style was quite normal.

[Zhang Hai: Ridiculous, there’s even a hidden profession... then I’ll definitely choose it. Though I really don’t like using violence. My hidden profession is Olympic Champion, fully maxed out in physical fitness. Brothers, I’m choosing this one.]

[Kate: My hidden profession, Weapon Master. The people ahead are right, we should reveal our professions to avoid duplicates and ensure everyone is useful.]

[Tokugawa River: Didn’t expect to have a hidden profession too, Versatile Doctor, looks like I can solve many problems. Not bad.]

[Tam: Oh, there’s actually a hidden profession, hahaha, although I really want to choose Policeman, it seems choosing a hidden profession is the best deal. My hidden profession is Hero. Hahaha, I have a bunch of underlings from the start!]

Blind still didn’t speak.

Wen Xishu was shocked.

Everyone has one, except me?

He probably guessed the reason.

[Do you desire to experience the most authentic apocalypse? Loading your personal data, we will determine if you can unlock the hidden option based on your experiences.]

This prompt seemed to explain everything.

Wen Xishu felt aggrieved.

A transmigrator, someone who spawned with cheats, an annoying rule-breaker, why am I unworthy of a hidden option?

Based on which of my experiences did they determine I wasn’t eligible for a hidden profession?

After a few deep breaths, Wen Xishu gradually calmed down.

Some things can only be accepted.

No choice, looking at the certain option available to ”most people,” Wen Xishu ultimately chose ”most people.”

A ”most people” with Phoenix Gloves, Compass of Fate, and Scorpio Knife, presumably not so ”most people.”

After choosing his profession, Wen Xishu opened his eyes.

[Since you did not choose a hidden profession, you are out of place with them and have been excluded from their team.]

[You are now in a different location. But you can prove your worth, head to the top floor of the skyscraper in the city center three days later, and leave here with the others by helicopter. When you regroup with them, they will accept you unconditionally.]

???

Wen Xishu’s blood pressure rose again. Why target me alone? Just because I didn’t choose a hidden profession, my team play turned into a single-player game?

However, Wen Xishu was not truly alone.

The current scene is a storage room, with an axe, a few bullets, and a medical kit. The storage room door is locked.

Inside the storage room, apart from Wen Xishu, there was one other person. Blind.

”Hello. I thought I was the only one who chose a non-hidden profession,” Wen Xishu said.

Blind’s face showed no expression:

”I could choose. My hidden profession is Super Senses, also blind, but with enhanced other senses. I can locate by sound.”

Wen Xishu was a little surprised:

”Why not choose?”

Blind said:

”I came to seek death. I said it from the start. Sorry, you’re rather unlucky too, having only me, a blind man, as your teammate.”

”And I can’t provide any value.”

Although his tone showed no emotion, Wen Xishu felt that Blind was fundamentally very kind. He just genuinely wanted to die.

Blind added:

”I can be bait.”

Wen Xishu did not reply, he began to examine the storage room.

”Looks like a medical pack, an axe, and five bullets are our initial supplies.”

”This game is likely about apocalypse survival. Our task should be to escape this city and reach a safe place.”

”I will try to take you with me, but you have to have the will to survive. I won’t save those who don’t try to save themselves,” Wen Xishu said.

Blind still had no expression but seemed to be thinking:

”You really are an odd one. I’ve told you, I’m of no use. My profession is just a War Correspondent.”

Wen Xishu replied:

”That’s not bad, better than my ’most people’. If we’re together, you can provide a lot of information. A War Correspondent’s trait is knowing a lot of circumstances from the start, right?”

Blind was a little taken aback:

”You chose this profession? ’Most people’... why? Do you want to die too?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”No, I don’t want to die. I just like challenging difficult things. Now, let me analyze the situation for you. Theoretically, the game officially starts once we open the door. If we don’t open the door, it’s basically safe here.”

”Let me know when you’re ready, and we’ll act together.”

Blind was still somewhat puzzled:

”’Most people’ seem to have no abilities, how do you plan to survive?”

Wen Xishu replied:

”The game’s designer indeed can’t give me anything, but once I enter this game, the game’s owner is no longer him, but me.”

Blind said:

”You’re quite as confident as Eldest Young Master Ye and Baby-faced Wolf.”

Wen Xishu did not deny:

”They rely on professions, so they chose hidden professions. But I don’t need to; I am the hidden character.”

”Let’s go, and together, we’ll end the apocalypse.”
