Three Towers Game

Chapter 270: Chapter 111 First Tower Kill and Wen Chaohua Time Theory_3

Xun Hui nodded, that’s correct.

Okay, he had to admit that he didn’t understand back then, and completely couldn’t grasp how Wen Chaohua discovered it.

Wen Xishu said:

”So, this change in destiny trajectory should have some kind of restriction, right... Which means not in combat, killing clearly doesn’t count, right?”

Xun Hui nodded:

”Yes. Killing inside the Slaughter Tower doesn’t change the destiny trajectory.”

Wen Xishu found it interesting. Inside the Desire Tower, you can’t kill people because the rules don’t allow it. But if you really kill someone, it directly affects the content of the Deceit Tower and the Slaughter Tower, and it can affect the real world as well.

Yet, inside the Slaughter Tower, you can kill freely. But oddly enough, killing monsters in the Slaughter Tower doesn’t advance the timeline, it doesn’t alter any trajectory.

”Because the monsters in the Slaughter Tower kill upon sight... and most of the monsters in the Slaughter Tower are incapable of communication, and in the Slaughter Tower, almost no chance exists to change the monsters’ destiny trajectory...”

”So the likelihood for other Bunker players to advance the timeline is extremely low.”

”But just now, because I chatted with Tang Rui and others, I didn’t kill, just guided them with words. Shouldn’t this count as changing the destiny trajectory? If so...”

”Doesn’t that mean that I just advanced the time loop node of the Slaughter Tower?”

”And the reason I was able to change Tang Rui’s destiny trajectory is because of my accumulation in the Desire Tower and Deceit Tower.”

Wen Xishu looked at Xun Hui, realizing a crucial point:

”Senior Xun, is it very difficult to advance the timeline by simply climbing the Slaughter Tower? Meaning, the monsters you dealt with on the 59th floor were stuck at a certain time node.”

”Take my previous example, suppose we are now in January 2025, then the Slaughter Tower would start looping in February 2026.”

”If no one inside the Slaughter Tower changes the monsters’ destiny trajectory, then that means, the monsters you’re dealing with are actually always from before February 2026.”

Xun Hui nodded: ”Yes, is that a problem?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Of course, and it’s a big problem.”

”The Slaughter Tower is only a simulation, but the real world’s time doesn’t stop. If we can never advance the timeline, we’ll never know... what year it actually is in the real world, maybe it’s 2088, 2089, 2100, who knows?”

Xun Hui froze, suddenly feeling a sense of fear.

Wen Xishu said:

”We Bunker players can indeed kill monsters in the Slaughter Tower and keep growing. Especially geniuses like you, Senior, you reached the 59th floor in just a few years. Your progress speed is much faster than the evolution speed of the Slaughter Tower’s monsters.”

”But if you can never advance the timeline, you won’t know which version the monsters evolved to in the real world.”

”When you finally defeat the 2026 version of the monsters... is it possible that the real timeline of those monsters has already reached decades later, and in those decades... they have wildly evolved, incomparable to the 2026 version.”

It’s like Tower players being stuck in the 2026 version, finally mastering all the dungeon strategies, while the world server has already updated to the 2088 version, making all strategies hopelessly outdated.

Xun Hui was silent for a long time, rarely not observing the battlefield, staring at Wen Xishu with unprecedented seriousness.

Clearly, he was convinced by Wen Xishu and believes Wen Xishu is likely right. The old principal actually said something similar before.

”The Slaughter Tower is our channel to understand the real world and also our means to enhance and change the real world, but the Slaughter Tower is not the real world.”

Back then, Xun Hui didn’t understand this sentence, now he seems to get it. The monsters you desperately killed might just be from an ancient version.

If you don’t find a way to update the simulator’s version... then you’re only the strongest within this simulator.

In the real world, those monsters you’ve killed many times might have evolved to a mysterious extent. But inside the Slaughter Tower, if the timeline isn’t advanced, their ability value fluctuates within only thirteen months.

So, his previous statement to Wen Xishu about the Ghost Bride being stronger than when the old principal dealt with it is invalid. The old principal fought the Ghost Bride many years ago, but for the Slaughter Tower players, ability fluctuation only changes within a thirteen-month span.

”Wen Xishu, you’re right. Now I understand why this book was banned... it could cause people to think and lead to panic.”

Wen Xishu said:

”I’m afraid that’s also why the old principal desperately wants to clear a hundred floors, isn’t it?”

In Albert’s mind, only after the hundredth floor, could certain truths be glimpsed and certain situations be changed.

Xun Hui did not speak.

Wen Xishu hadn’t told Xun Hui that just now, he had already advanced the timeline and updated the version.

Now Wen Xishu arrived at an extremely shocking conclusion, only in the Deceit Tower and Desire Tower, by anchoring new destiny trajectories for the boss-level monsters when they were still in the human stage, can you advance the timeline in the Slaughter Tower.

The invitation mechanism of the Deceit Tower allows you to return to the critical time nodes of the Desire Tower, and the Deceit Tower itself can earn powerful items.

Moreover, the Deceit Tower and the Desire Tower give you the opportunity to update the version in the Slaughter Tower.

The Three Towers are closely connected, and the Deceit Tower is the best entrance.
