Three Towers Game

Chapter 301: Chapter 116: The Cheating Blind Man and the Serious Gamer Wen Xishu_4

The storage room was full of food: instant noodles, compressed biscuits, pre-cooked meal packages... It was packed, all stored in the freezer.

This food was enough for Duan Donghuo to last a very long time.

Duan Donghuo was very satisfied with Wen Xishu’s reaction:

”After eating this for a long time... you might feel it tastes bad, but at least it can keep me alive. I actually am a fan of apocalypse stories. I used to participate in free fighting, won the championship, and also won an Olympic shooting championship. After making some money, I became afraid of death.”

”I figured I had to stock up on something with my money. Something that could keep me from starving for a long time.”

”Along with my love for survival games, I always fantasized that my shooting and fighting skills would allow me to carve a bloody path in the apocalypse and find various supplies.”

”However... I really didn’t expect the apocalypse to actually come. This often makes me feel like the world revolves around me.”

Wen Xishu said:

”You indeed have very good foresight... now you might be considered one of the richest people in the world.”

This wasn’t flattery. In times like these, if there existed the kind of circulating market seen in novels, Duan Donghuo would definitely be the protagonist who could trade supplies for a girl’s chastity.

Rebirth as the guy who stockpiled supplies during the apocalypse, just the thought was exciting.

Duan Donghuo whispered:

”Eh, everything is meaningless now. For a while, I even had suicidal thoughts. But too bad you’re not a chick. Right now, I’m willing to trade half of my supplies for a chick. Let’s not talk about it anymore. I’ll go boil some water for you to drink.”

Wen Xishu took some packs of compressed biscuits, reducing his hunger to zero.

Then Duan Donghuo called Wen Xishu to come down and sit.

”Wen Xishu, come down and have some water.”

Water is the easiest thing to drug, Wen Xishu noted the unreasonableness of stockpiling supplies but not water.

At the same time, the other party had mentioned drinking water three or four times since the beginning.

”It’s not fresh news. In a world where water and food are not lacking, in this apocalypse full of scheming... the only thing on me worth this kind of hospitality would be my flesh.”

”Zombies don’t eat food, they only eat human flesh. In another room on the third floor, there were chained locks. If I’m not wrong, inside should be his beloved who has turned into a zombie.”

”Treating someone warmly, then sending them off, sending them to the room with the zombie, to feed the zombie. In the loneliness of the apocalypse, the only solace is the beloved who has turned into a zombie, raised by oneself. It is the switch to open memories.”

This story was indeed not new. Almost all zombie movies used this trope, humans capturing humans to feed zombies. If players knew the script in advance... there would be many ways to break through logically.

For example, a direct sneak attack. But Wen Xishu knew very well that this method was anticipated by the game’s designers.

First of all, the other party was a free fighting champion, so he could be seen as a max-level human in the game.

Second, the other party was also an Olympic shooting champion and had a gun.

This setting was probably to prevent those who could guess the plot from forcefully attacking Duan Donghuo.

Duan Donghuo’s attributes were incredibly overpowered, with max ranged and melee damage. If one really tried to attack forcefully... the game would most likely end here.

However, Wen Xishu was different from regular players.

If his attributes weren’t restricted, Wen Xishu could directly solve the fight with an ultimate kick.

Even now, Wen Xishu felt he could do it. Instantly taking out the killing soccer ball from the inventory, using his phenomenal skills, joined with an ultimate kick, ending the fight with one ball...

Wen Xishu was eighty percent confident he could do it.

But he didn’t do it.

”Right now, I feel that this game is alive. It seems to be waiting for someone who truly understands it.”

”Not someone who uses money to change its original content. Of course, this game is definitely deadly. Making a wrong choice may lead to death.”

”But there must be more than one correct option. Duan Donghuo’s setting should be that he cannot be overcome with violence...”

”So, what should I do as one of the ’majority’?”

At this time, Duan Donghuo, holding a bowl of water, had a friendly smile on his face, the water steaming.

Seeing Wen Xishu not responding, he said again:

”Come down and have some water. You look very thirsty.”

Wen Xishu took the water cup, silently thinking about a countermeasure, then revealed a sorrowful expression.

Duan Donghuo urged:

”Drink it, why aren’t you drinking?”

Wen Xishu sighed:

”It feels so good... I can’t imagine being able to drink a glass of water in such a comfortable environment. You know, my girlfriend and I drank half a bottle of water for three days.”

”She is so beautiful. The apocalypse came unexpectedly, neither of us were prepared. I miss her a lot. The nights are so cold. She was wearing torn stockings, I wonder if she found a warm enough place to rest.”

Wen Xishu spoke with sadness.

But in Duan Donghuo’s eyes, an excited reaction immediately appeared: a woman, beautiful, battle-damaged stockings!

Honestly, he never lacked women before, but he was always single. This didn’t conflict.

After the apocalypse broke out, what he now craved most was a person to talk to.

Of course, that person had to be female. As a fighting master and shooting master, Duan Donghuo’s physical strength was undoubtedly strong.
