Three Towers Game

Chapter 290: Chapter 114: Savior Game_5

The Scorpio’s cheating little knife, this thing really performs consistently...

Wen Xishu now thinks it can be considered as a supplementary option for the dice.

The benefit of turn-based combat is that if you face an overly powerful enemy, in a real fight, you often don’t get your turn.

But if the turn order lets you attack first, in turn-based mode, you always have a chance to strike.

Another advantage is preventing ambushes. If there are enemies like snipers in the distance, in turn-based mode, they will inevitably reveal their identity and get trapped in the turn sequence.

”Although I’m not sure what role turn-based combat plays in the apocalypse, it seems quite interesting.”

”And besides... I always feel like this level is the kind Scorpio would like. Maybe there’s a chance to increase his favorability.”

Keywords like the apocalypse game and profession choices made Wen Xishu instinctively think of Scorpio.

Scorpio’s characteristic is that it is greatly associated with games.

In Wen Xishu’s eyes now, there is a dialogue box, and within the dialogue box, an image is presented.

It depicts a person with dyed yellow hair, holding a steel pipe.

[Profession: Hooligan]

[Professional Traits: You are skilled at using any street gadget like steel pipes, glass bottles, daggers, and kitchen knives. You are also good at picking locks, and your hair color will have extra charm for women. Disadvantage: Your stamina is not very high.]

Interesting.

Wen Xishu clicked on switch, and the image in the dialogue box in his vision changed again.

[Profession: Police Officer]

[Professional Traits: You will find 9mm ammunition more easily. You will start with excellent revolver skills, combat skills, and driving skills. You will also have a higher chance of successfully taming dogs, but this does not include apocalypse zombie dogs. When facing certain problems, you cannot make immoral choices, and in free mode, you will fall into a negative state of ”guilt” after performing immoral actions.]

It’s reasonable to have both hooligans and police officers.

Wen Xishu noticed the zombies. It seems he understood that this apocalypse is not the same as the one he encountered in the Three Towers...

This seems like an apocalypse designed by a game designer in a specific game.

It was at this moment that a small envelope-like symbol appeared in Wen Xishu’s vision.

He clicked it lightly, and a message popped up.

[Eldest Young Master Ye: Can anyone tell me which profession is the strongest? I hate choosing. If your suggestion is good enough, you can qualify to be my steward.]

[Baby-faced Wolf: Everything is within my calculations. I already know what to play.]

[Zhang Hai: Bro, Wenxun bro... huh, why is your ID Wen Xishu? Oh man, you’re part of the Xishu Divine Teaching too! By the way, any elite advice from the academy? What profession should I choose? How about the tech geek? This vagabond and engineer also seem good.]

[Tam: I’m choosing the police officer. Although I don’t know if you can choose the same, don’t snatch my choice, and don’t pick the same as me.]

It’s reasonable for a prisoner to choose a police officer.

Tokugawa River, Kate, and the Blind didn’t choose yet.

Wen Xishu was quite curious if the Blind would see options in his vision.

But since those people didn’t speak up, he didn’t care.

[Wen Xishu: Theoretically, we should have different professions to cooperate better. I suggest everyone reveal their choices.]

Wen Xishu provided a reasonable suggestion. But whether the others would follow it was unknown.

Wen Xishu continued browsing the professions.

There was an engineer adept at repairing various household appliances and using drones, but engineers had poor social skills.

Wen Xishu was quite interested in choosing it because he wanted to see if the profession would alter a person’s basic abilities.

For example, Wen Xishu considered his social skills good, so would choosing an engineer cause a forced decline in social abilities?

There was also a hacker who could invade others’ computers and discover survivor camps. However, the hacker had very poor physical condition.

”The game hasn’t started yet, but I can guess... This should be a survival game during the apocalypse. It’s obvious that everyone’s abilities are tailored for specific scenarios. There must be team coordination involved.”

Wen Xishu continued browsing.

Professions included a superstar, whose appearance would be enhanced and have maximum charm for NPCs, although their living skills were almost zero.

Wen Xishu was more inclined to choose an athlete with amazing physical strength. Other skills might not be great, but they were not particularly bad either.

However, Wen Xishu realized something...

He switched through many professions: superstar, athlete, tech geek, engineer, drag racer, war journalist...

But in the end, none of these professions had a ”confirm” option underneath.

Wen Xishu was actually planning to choose war journalist due to its powerful learning ability.

But he found that when it came to choosing a profession, he could only choose ”majority”.

”Damn, the annotation of the fourth evil, it turns out to be like this.”

If you choose this option, you will inevitably be assigned to a team-based challenge and will hold the role with the highest initial death rate.

So the highest death rate manifested here in this level.

Other professions had their unique traits, but Wen Xishu couldn’t choose them.

He could only choose ”majority”.

[Profession: Majority]

[Professional Traits: No traits at all. The ordinary you are the kind of person whose death won’t be noticed. No one will think you are the savior.]
