Three Towers Game

Chapter 286: Chapter 114: The Savior Game

Enemies are like cockroaches; when you see one out in the open, there might be a hundred more hidden in the dark.

The Miyamoto family backing Miyamoto Yishu is indeed powerful, but it doesn’t mean only the Miyamoto family can accomplish certain things.

Some families are still observing.

Wen Xishu pondered that the Deceit Tower Assault Team was gaining momentum. If he could form good relations with them, it would provide an additional layer of security.

”I need to find a way to take control of the Deceit Tower Academy quickly, reclaim my name at the fastest speed, and make sure those who hold grudges against Wen Chaohua will be too afraid to provoke me before they even figure out who I am.”

With this in mind, Wen Xishu realized he had to climb the tower even faster.

He quickly arrived at the principal’s office. The principal and Jabbar were both absent, but Wen Xishu had a feeling—Jabbar would inevitably be there when he returned, handing him a warm towel.

He quite enjoyed that moment, so he operated the login device even faster.

”Tower God! Initiate!”

[Welcome to the Three Towers game, you are about to enter the resting area.]

[Based on your performance in regular challenges, you achieved a level-six completion on the sixth floor. Your current maximum level: 16. Fluctuation range: 9 to 16. You may also visit a three-tower guide to opt for descending levels (for detailed rules, please consult the guide).]

[Special item ”Tumbling Dice” detected. Do you wish to roll?]

Wen Xishu hoped for an interesting roll this time. But the result he got was considered very unlucky by the superstitious.

Three fours.

”The good news is, triple fours came up; the bad news is, this roll seems cursed.”

[Please choose one of the following effects:]

[1: Triple High. (Tower level x3. Triggered when all three dice show the same number.)]

[2: Triple Aspect Power. (Can use the abilities and rules of three different tower types simultaneously. Triggered when all three dice show the same number.)]

[3: Good Things Come in Pairs. (Triggered when at least two dice show even numbers. Effect: choice options +1. This option doesn’t consume a selection turn.)]

[4: No Coincidence, No Story. (Triggered only by even numbers. When the number of teammates is even, you receive an additional rewards equal to your teammate’s. If the other party acquires a unique sequence, it will be stripped.)]

[5: Big Number Bias. (Triggered when the total number is greater than nine. Effect: Increases the probability of all random events, be it good or bad.)]

[6: Malice of Four. (Triggered when all dice show four. Effect: When your team members are a multiple of four, and in this process, a teammate dies, there’s a high probability you inherit the three-tower assets of your teammate, and vice versa. Note: Choosing this option will guarantee placement in team-based challenges, and you will assume the role with the highest initial death rate.)]

The new option, the sixth one, was indeed an extremely evil choice.

No Coincidence, No Story is suitable for teaming up with friends, while Malice of Four is better suited for being with people one dislikes.

Wen Xishu was quite tempted to choose it.

But there were two issues; first, could he get three teammates to be with him?

The game required the team to have four members, naturally counting him. As long as there are three others... hmm, those three would be in danger.

”According to the annotation, once chosen, my challenge content will change to suit team-based challenges.”

”However, there’s a concern—if the challenge is converted to team-based content, will there be no one in the Deceit Tower resting area sharing the same challenge with me, causing me to enter a team challenge alone?”

”Another point to consider is that a teammate needs to die, but not necessarily by my hand... So the ethical dilemma isn’t the issue, it’s more about judging the likelihood of all teammates surviving based on past experiences.”

Wen Xishu quickly came to a conclusion from the last point.

To date, only those from the Xishu Divine Teaching survived every time they teamed up with him.

Other challenges always involved deaths.

Time was running out for Wen Xishu.

As long as he had Good Things Come in Pairs, he could switch from a one-in-six to a two-in-five choices advantage.

Currently, Wen Xishu had a strategy for his selection—

Choose Triple Aspect blindly if available, otherwise, opt for the dual-choice. Being able to use rules from a different tower in one is crucial.

Thus, Wen Xishu chose Triple Aspect as his first option.

After much hesitation, he chose the new option as his second choice. Malice of Four.

Deceit Tower, resting area.

”All brothers, gather around! No matter which area you’re in, come over here. I’m Zhou Yan, from the sixth division of the Bunker Security Bureau, formerly ranked 195th on the Slaughter Tower Celestial Ladder List.”

”And my name is He Shoucheng, also from the sixth division of the Bunker Security Bureau, formerly ranked 170th on the Slaughter Tower Celestial Ladder List.”

When Wen Xishu appeared in the resting area of Deceit Tower, the first content he heard was the shout from two Bunker People from the Celestial Ladder List.

This intrigued him somewhat.

”As everyone knows, regardless of your past identity, coming to explore the Deceit Tower, if you succeed and return, you may gain a clean new identity or a change in status.”

”Recently, everyone is aware of Wen Xishu who constantly explores Deceit Tower.”

”I hope everyone here has luck like Wen Xishu. Now, what I want to tell you all is that our sixth division of the Security Bureau will establish a Deceit Tower Assault Team.”
