Three Towers Game

Chapter 294: After Modification: Chapter 115: Living Game_3

He himself, on the other hand, jumped directly to another building from the rooftop of the office building through parkour.

Through this kind of super leap that normal people couldn’t manage, Wen Xishu completely shook off the zombies. From the bird’s-eye view of the high-rise, Wen Xishu discovered many interesting things about the city.

This place is divided into several zones, each with its own resource collection spots.

Some zones are white, where basic survival resources can be gathered. A skull icon is displayed above these zones.

Blue zones have three to four skull icons, while purple zones have five to seven skull icons.

Red zones have ten skull icons, which represent ten-star difficulty levels.

From the top of the building, looking far into the distance, Wen Xishu could see that the final convergence point was located in a ten-star difficulty zone.

”I need to find enough supplies and equipment before entering that place.”

After a bit of frenzied running, Wen Xishu’s body was already in a state of hunger and thirst.

These are also two values. They are the favorite elements in all survival games: hunger and thirst.

Usually, games like to design blue and red bars for characters, but survival games also feature resource bars, health bars, mood bars, and other attributes.

Wen Xishu just started to observe his own attributes carefully.

Mood: Good.

Hunger: 50.

Thirst: 70 (Your life recovery ability starts to decline, and your tolerance to high temperatures decreases.)

Health Status: No current illnesses.

”Normally, with that level of activity, I shouldn’t feel thirsty or hungry.” Wen Xishu felt a bit helpless.

Fortunately, there’s the triad; otherwise, mere ”majority” would make survival in the game too difficult. He opened the compass again, and it started spinning, guiding him to find water and food. The place wasn’t far away.

It was right in the building where Wen Xishu was currently located.

Wen Xishu began to move stealthily, making no sound as he walked.

At the same time, he began to slowly read the information of others within his vision.

Tam: The rocket launcher is awesome, this game is really fun. Have you guys used that item with the 98 asset value? I exchanged it for a rocket launcher!

On the other side of the city, Wen Xishu could indeed hear some explosion sounds.

Criminal Tam, with a group of underlings, was recklessly slaughtering zombies.

Wen Xishu indeed felt that with pay-to-win, the other’s experience was much better than his own.

He was crazily chased by a group of zombies, occasionally encountering one or two crying female zombies, the kind he didn’t dare to mess with.

But Tam had a group of underlings willing to die for him, and now he even exchanged for a rocket launcher, a weapon that’s typically available only in the late game.

Ye Lingfeng’s profession was a social elite, whose abilities included a little bit of every skill, basically an enhanced version of the ”majority.”

Ye Lingfeng said:

”I already started using the armor vehicle worth 128 asset points. I’m different from you; I don’t like my feet to touch the ground.”

Baby-faced Wolf:

”You’ve started transactions with a value of 128 already? I overestimated you guys. Well, we were never from the same world anyway.”

Baby-faced Wolf did not use extra money. After selecting a hidden profession, he has been exploring alone.

At this stage, everyone was exploring alone. Almost everyone experienced the escape same as Wen Xishu.

Except Wen Xishu was escaping, while the others were making the zombies escape.

Some people carried rocket launchers, leading underlings to clear floors everywhere. Some even fired directly at buildings.

Others drove armor vehicles, cruising around the city like wealthy young masters admiring the scenery.

Some indulged in their role-playing, killing a few zombies before hiding in a corner, fantasizing about how lonely and misunderstood they were.

Wen Xishu noticed that it seemed... not only he was excluded, but these people were all separated.

He realized that the starting point of ordinary professions couldn’t be the same as hidden professions. So ordinary professions like him could only appear together at the same novice birth point with people like Blind.

But hidden professions were also not together. Because they chose hidden professions, people like Baby-faced Wolf, Tam, etc., were born alone, each in a different area of the city.

Fitness Coach Zhang Hai said:

”I think I have arrived at a plot location... Brothers, I found some survivors, they are in a prison. I saw them.”

”They used the prison walls to keep the monsters out and even planted vegetables inside. I saw a giant exclamation mark floating above this prison. I’ll go take a look first!”

Zhang Hai was the only one who provided Wen Xishu with useful information. Although Wen Xishu had already guessed it.

At this moment, Wen Xishu had stealthily reached the twenty-second floor of the building.

There were only a few scattered zombies at the twenty-first-floor staircase. One of the zombies had an exclamation mark above its head and held a steel pipe, wearing an army green coat.

It was patrolling the staircase. Occasionally, other zombies tried to pass through but would be beaten back by this zombie wielding the steel pipe.

Wen Xishu, from the higher floors, overlooked this scene through the collapsed floor from above.

”This zombie... must have had a strong obsession in life, causing it to persistently perform a certain behavior. It must be protecting someone...”

”Zombies are not interactive; although it has an exclamation mark above its head, the task certainly isn’t to be received from it.”
