Three Towers Game

Chapter 271: Chapter 111 First Tower Kill and Wen Chaohua Time Theory_4

When Wen Xishu was communicating with Tang Rui and others just now, he used non-combat methods such as thought guidance to change Tang Rui’s trajectory, and might have influenced Jack, Jennifer, and the An Family Brothers’ understanding of the situation.

Thirteen months later, the cycle begins. Time will not revert to when nothing had happened, but will instead go back to the moment he successfully returned to the Bunker.

In other words, in the next cycle, the bizarre plants and the supermarket guide will not be revived. Because the earliest point in the cycle has now become the time after they were killed.

”If I explore the Slaughter Tower regularly, as long as this period is less than thirteen months, and I periodically change some people’s destinies...”

”Then I can continuously advance the version, letting the originally cycling Slaughter Tower World move forward normally... Under these conditions, the cycle will be broken.”

”Senior Xun Hui, the old principal, and all the warriors striving in the Bunker at the Slaughter Tower... will be able to access more future content and understand more about the shifts in the real world situation.”

”But this premise is that I must always use non-combat methods to alter the trajectories of the monsters.”

”In other words, I cannot stop exploring the Three Towers, not even missing one.”

Actually, Wen Xishu was not very worried about the Bunker players’ version lagging behind the real world.

Because of the various rewards from exploring the Three Towers, and the speed at which humans become stronger... makes Wen Xishu feel that Bunker players are the true gods.

As long as he finds a way to advance the version, the progress of the Bunker players would be a dimension reduction strike for those monsters that prey on other creatures to evolve.

Moreover, Wen Xishu was certain that there must be some method to massively update the version. Similarly, in a certain sense, the longer the time gap with the real world timeline... the more exaggerated the butterfly effect, and the more significant the snowball effect of changing someone’s fate.

Perhaps Albert had already realized this, and Albert probably knew more than anyone. In short, for the people at this stage, there is only one thing to do—

Climb the tower, keep climbing the tower, reach unprecedented levels, and find the way to connect to the real world.

”Wen Chaohua must have discovered this... but Wen Chaohua suddenly went insane later, leading the Wen Family to do some absolutely outrageous things.”

”Why? What is the meaning behind his actions? And what exactly did he do?”

Wen Xishu decided that when he went back this time, he would have a good talk with the old principal.

The old principal definitely knew much more than Xun Hui.

And Wen Xishu also wanted to know from the old principal... if the Slaughter Tower is just a simulation, then does changing the destinies of Tang Rui and the others have other meanings besides advancing the timeline? Will it affect the real world many years later?

For example, after completing a recruitment mission, is this recruitment limited to the Slaughter Tower, or does it also apply to the real world? After changing some people’s destinies in the Desire Tower and Deceit Tower, did it only change their trajectory in the towers, or also in the real world?

Wen Xishu could actually guess that it should be the latter. Otherwise, the Twelve Constellations would not be so eager to recruit Bunker players.

The influences of the Three Towers on the world should objectively exist.

Xun Hui suddenly shook his head and said:

”My training is indeed insufficient, I actually started worrying about these intangible things.”

Wen Xishu didn’t understand:

”Senior, what are you talking about?”

Xun Hui’s expression regained its determination:

”You are right. It’s very possible that the monsters we are dealing with in the Slaughter Tower are from outdated versions. But so what?”

”I am far from the point where I need to worry about these things. When I become the strongest being in the entire Slaughter Tower, that will be the time for me to consider it, right?”

”No matter what, what I can do is continuously become stronger.”

Wen Xishu felt deep respect. Xun Hui was indeed a born warrior, capable of easily overcoming confusion.

At this moment, the Ghost Bride had successfully pulled the guardian of her invaded area into the coffin.

Xun Hui said:

”Alright, don’t think about those irrelevant things. Wen Xishu, I’m going to charge now. I will get rid of those elite species as fast as possible.”

”You better make sure you can force it out of the coffin!”

Wen Xishu took out a pair of gloves with a fiery red shine and imprinted with a ※ sign from the item bar:

”No problem, but I need to get a bit closer to the Ghost Bride.”

”By the way, Senior, if you kill the Ghost Bride and assuming we push forward the timeline... then the Ghost Bride becomes a limited edition monster?”

”Once killed, others won’t be able to kill it anymore, right? Is there any extra reward? After all, it can be considered a limited edition kill, right?”

Xun Hui did not answer Wen Xishu’s question. A terrifying aura burst forth as he found the flaws exposed by the Ghost Bride and her coffin bearers!

At this moment, it was the perfect time to enter the battlefield!

As for the answer to Wen Xishu’s question... indeed there is. There is another kind of kill that offers higher rewards than the first kills of the Three Towers, called a ’Retirement Kill’.

This was actually something confirmed by Wen Chaohua.

The mechanism is what Wen Xishu said. During version updates, that is, when time points progress, killing a powerful monster makes it retire permanently from the Slaughter Tower World.

This reward would be even more extraordinary than the first kills of the Three Towers. But almost no one could achieve this. Because whether it’s the first kills or the retirement kills, they all demand very high combat levels from both the player and the monster. It needs to be at least a boss-level kill to receive such treatment.
