Three Towers Game

Chapter 279: Chapter 112: The Curtain Falls on the First Journey to the Slaughter Tower_6

Wen Xishu finally didn’t receive a triple blood pressure surge, he asked:

”I already know this, but what about the Slaughter Tower?”

The guide thought about it, since Wen Xishu even survived this time, he did indeed have the right to know some information:

”The Slaughter Tower is very special, it does not alter history. What it changes is something else.”

Wen Xishu didn’t speak, he quietly listened.

”In the Slaughter Tower, there are actually only two things you can do, and that is recruitment and killing.”

”And most of the killing in the Slaughter Tower is ineffective killing, that is non-tower exit kill.”

”Ineffective killing, non-tower exit kill, the impact it can bring to you, is the acquisition of experience, items, sequences, etc. It has no impact on the real world. In other words, even if you kill the Ghost Bride a hundred times, as long as it’s not a tower exit kill, it will have no effect on the Ghost Bride.”

”But tower exit kill, effective killing, can change certain things on the Ghost Bride in the real world.”

When Wen Xishu heard this, he immediately got interested:

”Explain.”

The Deceitful Head was indeed more straightforward than the Deceitful Head, it said:

”When you perform a tower exit kill on an existence within the Slaughter Tower, it will not die in the real world...”

”But it will lose some special attributes. In other words, the Ghost Bride might become a Red Room in the real world, but because of the tower exit kill, it might not have the possibility of successfully evolving.”

”And this attribute, is fortune and opportunity.”

Wen Xishu’s eyes widened, he had never thought that the truth would be like this.

The guide then continued with a more explosive explanation:

”And you should know, the premise of a tower exit kill is that you have changed someone’s fate trajectory.”

”During this period, all the monsters you kill... that qualify for a tower exit kill, their opportunities and fortunes will be devoured by the person whose fate trajectory you changed.”

Wen Xishu exclaimed:

”Tang Rui? So, in the real world, some of the Ghost Bride’s opportunities... were transferred to Tang Rui?”

The guide nodded:

”Indeed. And if you successfully complete a recruitment mission, then assuming, I’m saying assuming, one day you really have the chance to contact the real world outside the Bunker...”

”The person you recruit will indeed have a deep bond with you. You should know, the Three Towers can alter the memories of the Bunker People, similarly, they can also alter the memories of those monsters in the real world.”

”So when you complete a recruitment, they will indeed remember that they established a contract and bond with you.”

Wen Xishu asked:

”I want to know, what exactly does fortune and opportunity affect?”

The guide did not beat around the bush:

”Let me give you an example, for now, you are a common kind, the most trashy character in the apocalypse.”

”Compared to rare kinds and elite kinds, you have fewer evolutionary paths, and your evolution probability is also pathetically low.”

”Maybe they can obtain evolution after hunting a hundred monsters, but you might hunt a thousand and still not evolve.”

”But all of this is probability. If your fortune and opportunity are incredibly high... perhaps in a certain devouring process, you might suddenly obtain a powerful sequence or evolutionary mutation.”

”Congratulations, you leap forward and become an elite kind.”

Wen Xishu laughed, he now understood the Three Towers’ impact on the real world.

He had tried several times to summarize the impact of the Three Towers on the real world without understanding.

Now hearing the guide’s words, Wen Xishu fully comprehended.

”The Deceit Tower and Desire Tower unlock the card pool, while the Slaughter Tower cultivates the cards...”

”Through tower exit kill, you weaken the enemy’s card quality while increasing your own card quality.”

The guide was silent for a few seconds and found this explanation quite fitting.

Tang Rui, Jack, and Jennifer, the An Family Brothers, they couldn’t compare to someone like An Rongzai, a Demon King class character.

But if they continuously trigger tower exit kills, pushing the timeline forward, finding stable means and opportunities to change fate trajectory, they could continuously nurture them.

Of course, it also couldn’t rule out the possibility that they themselves could gradually grow step by step by their own opportunities.

But ultimately, Bunker players now had the means to cultivate teammates.

The Desire Tower and Deceit Tower alter fate, they have direct impacts, you can even control such impacts.

For instance, Wen Xishu altered the content of the Deceit Tower’s levels through Ding Dong.

But the Slaughter Tower has a different impact, the attributes it changes also affect these people’s fates, but this change is uncontrollable.

Even if Tang Rui gained some fortune, and even if the Ghost Bride lost some fortune... it’s hard to say that their fate trajectories would undergo significant changes.

However, quantity change definitely leads to quality change, feed enough fortune, and the card will definitely evolve.

”So it turns out... that Bunker players also have such a large influence within the Slaughter Tower.” Wen Xishu sighed.

The guide said:

”It’s all about staking lives, the Three Towers are the core, all wars have to revolve around the Three Towers. Even if you have such an impact, the premise is... that you can survive every time, so, it’s fair, isn’t it?”

Wen Xishu agreed:

”Indeed, it’s fair. I should return, thank you for your information, it’s very important to me.”

”Then I look forward to your further exploration of the Slaughter Tower.” The guide laughed.

...

...

The Bunker, eighth floor.

Xun Hui saw Wen Xishu open his eyes, and smiled:

”How did you fare this time?”

Nissen, Xiaojin, and Yue Yun also smiled, evidently, everyone had some gains.

Wen Xishu said:

”The rating wasn’t high, but because of the high level and some special judgments, the gains were quite good.”

Xun Hui patted Wen Xishu’s shoulder:

”Good lad, I really didn’t expect... the things you casually mentioned would actually be true!”

Xun Hui didn’t mention the tower exit kill, because it might expose some of Wen Xishu’s secrets.

He was just very excited now.

Wen Xishu said:

”It looks like... Senior Xun has gained a lot.”

Wen Xishu could also guess that as the killer, Xun Hui’s reward would definitely be higher than his own.

Xun Hui said:

”I added a sixth-level facility to the academy, don’t worry, I’ll tell the old man that it’s shared between you and me. Though it belongs to me, you are the other owner of this facility.”

Xun Hui was so happy that though he usually had a cold, murderous face, he now looked a bit silly with joy.

Wen Xishu didn’t ask what the facility was, but instead asked:

”Senior, you should have a bigger gain right? That Ghost Bride, must have given you good stuff, right?”

Xun Hui clenched his fists:

”Yes, I owe you a big favor, let’s go, let’s go see the old man together.”

”You three come too.”
