Three Towers Game

Chapter 287: Chapter 114: The Savior Game_2

”Shoucheng and I are pioneers. I hope that everyone who has experienced the Deceit Tower could gather in the rest area and share insights with us. This will help decrease the death rate of exploring the Deceit Tower as much as possible.”

”Of course, Shoucheng and I will also explore the Deceit Tower. After all, we both appeared in the rest area. What I can assure everyone is that if you are willing to cooperate with us, when we return to the Bunker in the future, you can join the assault team anytime!”

”We will report to the management about everyone who selflessly contributes information in the rest area. Naturally, if Shoucheng and I die in the Deceit Tower, don’t be afraid, even if we’re gone, there are others! As long as we remain united, we will surely conquer the Deceit Tower!”

”Everyone, now is an opportunity. Maybe we will all die in the Deceit Tower. But our experience will allow the next generation to survive well.”

Zhou Yan had said these words several times, and indeed many people had gathered around him.

Among them, there were quite a few who had experience in the Deceit Tower.

Wen Xishu was rather surprised.

After all, his impression of the Security Bureau wasn’t very good. But Zhou Yan and He Shoucheng were truly putting themselves in harm’s way.

Especially the part about letting the next generation live well, which really made Wen Xishu admire them.

The Deceit Tower is a game, but not just a game. In a real game, the strategy team might just get tired, and their strategies would be appreciated by the players, but that would be the extent of it.

But in the Deceit Tower, the strategy team can die.

Wen Xishu truly felt the momentum of an unyielding force, a momentum towards exploring the Deceit Tower.

”Even the people on the Celestial Ladder List are putting themselves at risk, it seems Albert has really shifted the strategic focus.”

”The exploration of the Deceit Tower is increasing in volume, while the exploration of the Slaughter Tower is starting to take an elite route...”

”This is actually good news for people like me.”

Wen Xishu did not go over to Zhou Yan and He Shoucheng to discuss strategies.

He had already written his strategies in the tower climbing report.

He discovered that he was at the Tianyuan position, which meant his exploration level was the highest among all.

Surrounding him—there were no teammates.

Wen Xishu sighed:

”I’ve really been screwed by the cursed dice.”

Without teammates, it’s naturally impossible to trigger the situation where you gain attributes of the Three Towers through teammate deaths.

Moreover, he had to challenge the team mode of the Deceit Tower game as an individual. He felt like his death rate had just skyrocketed.

”Forget it, let’s analyze the mission first.”

This time, the challenge level spans quite a range, fifteen levels. This is also why there were no teammates around Wen Xishu.

And the mission description was as follows.

[Do you have dreams? Have you ever fantasized about reversing the tide and saving everything in the apocalypse? Welcome to the Post-Apocalyptic Savior Project.]

[Here, you will truly feel the weight of your dreams. All your actions will be evaluated in terms of their value towards your dreams.]

[Please use your teammates wisely, or... do you think you’re so wealthy that you don’t need teammates? Then feel free to enjoy the game mechanics.]

[The apocalypse is upon us. You need to lead the people you are protecting through several stages to survive. Their survival is crucial.]

[The monsters’ strength will become increasingly absurd, but don’t worry~ you have various ways to become stronger, as long as you’re willing to quantify everything.]

[Remember, in the apocalypse, everything is an asset, but some things are not everything.]

[We look forward to seeing you survive the apocalypse, or make an even more impressive performance, or, perhaps, you’ll just be a pathetic pauper.]

Another segment full of meaningful content, Wen Xishu’s first reaction was that this passage seemed to overly emphasize the word ”asset.”

Poor pauper?

These words truly offended Wen Xishu... or rather the Wen Xishu from his previous life.

But it was clearly not a universal, superiority-filled mockery.

”Please use your teammates wisely... Sorry, I don’t have any teammates.”

Wen Xishu really felt betrayed by the cursed dice.

But at this moment, something interesting happened.

”Damn it, this is my first time in the Deceit Tower! I was clearly supposed to be in the eerie chessboard game on the second level; why did I suddenly get moved to the fifteenth level? What is going on with the Deceit Tower?”

A person on the edge of the rest area suddenly shouted loudly.

Wen Xishu actually didn’t hear it at first, as it was too far away.

But then, several other people also started making similar complaints.

”This is crazy, I’m supposed to be in the Jicheng Apartments on the seventh level, so why am I on the fifteenth level now? What the heck, why the post-apocalyptic savior now.”

”Ahhhhh, my highest level was only seven, how did it become fifteen?”

”I, I must be hallucinating from hunger.”

”Fifteen levels? I never thought I’d jump from the first level straight to the fifteenth. Heh, interesting. Deceit Tower, is this how you catch my attention? Very well, you have my attention.”

Among them was even a tyrant-style complaint.

Various voices gradually reached Wen Xishu’s ears. He suddenly realized... crap, he might trigger public outrage.

Because the only person currently at the fifteenth level from the start was him.

This could very likely lead others to associate the sudden level change with him.

Wen Xishu was also quite bewildered.

He certainly didn’t expect the effect of the cursed dice to be so terrifying.

But thinking carefully, it’s not surprising. The purple same-arm bracer could form teams, and the triple high option could change levels...

It’s not entirely unreasonable for a rare set of triple fours, more rare than a regular leopard set, to change the levels of others too.
