Moving On from the Tsundere, I Choose the Perfect Sweetheart

Chapter 130: Chapter 130: Sharing a Bed? The Pressure from Su Qinghe

”Oohh...”

Gu Yifan let out a comfortable sigh and muttered, ”That feels so good...”

Su Qinghe tilted her head and gave him a blank look, but the movements of her hands didn’t stop.

「Ten minutes later.」

Gu Yifan was afraid Su Qinghe would get tired, so he told her to stop.

He rolled over and said with a straight face:

”Not bad, not bad at all, Su Hanhan. You’ve truly inherited my skills. I hereby declare that from this day forward, you are my exclusive Technician No. 88!”

Su Qinghe’s face flushed slightly. Although she didn’t quite understand what Gu Yifan was saying, she had a feeling it was something strange.

”Alright, that’s enough for today. Take a break!”

Gu Yifan said nonchalantly.

”Oh, okay.”

Su Qinghe nodded lightly. She was just about to get up and leave when Gu Yifan suddenly pulled her down.

”Ah—”

Caught off guard, she tumbled right into Gu Yifan’s arms.

She instinctively tried to struggle and get up, but Gu Yifan’s lazy voice sounded by her ear. ”Shh... lie with me for a bit.”

Feeling Gu Yifan’s strong arms wrap around her, Su Qinghe’s struggling froze. Her heart hammered in her chest, and her whole body instantly went rigid.

”I’m tired. I’m going to sleep for a bit.”

When she stopped moving, Gu Yifan shifted into a more comfortable position, holding her from the side and whispering near her ear.

The breath from his words tickled Su Qinghe’s ear.

THUMP, THUMP~

At this moment, Su Qinghe felt like her heart was about to race past 120 miles per hour!

She lay in Gu Yifan’s arms, not daring to move an inch, her little face so red it felt like it was on fire.

Fortunately, Gu Yifan didn’t make any further moves, which allowed Su Qinghe to secretly breathe a sigh of relief.

A little while later.

Su Qinghe’s emotions gradually calmed, and her body was no longer so stiff.

Listening to the steady sound of Gu Yifan’s breathing, Su Qinghe realized he seemed to have actually fallen asleep.

’He must be tired from driving all morning,’ Su Qinghe thought to herself.

She shifted her body gently and turned her head to steal a glance at Gu Yifan.

Gu Yifan’s eyes were closed tightly. His eyelashes were long, and Su Qinghe secretly compared them in her mind, feeling they were even longer than her own.

’This annoying guy... he doesn’t actually look as fierce as usual when he’s asleep.’

Su Qinghe suddenly recalled the first time they met.

The thought that she had been about to jump off a building and this Big Bully had asked her if she wanted spicy sticks left Su Qinghe at a loss for words.

But honestly, back then, Su Qinghe had been completely stunned by Gu Yifan’s sudden appearance.

And then when he fell trying to pull her back... she had been terrified, afraid that something had happened to him because of her. If it had, she wouldn’t have been able to rest in peace even in death.

Thankfully, it had been a close call with no real harm done.

And after that, he took her hiking, and...

Looking at Gu Yifan’s handsome face, bits and pieces of their time together flashed through Su Qinghe’s mind.

She realized that although it hadn’t been long, it was the happiest and most blissful time she had experienced in a very long while.

Even though this ”Big Bully” was always teasing her, it didn’t stop her from remembering Gu Yifan’s kindness.

Lost in her thoughts, she unknowingly drifted off to sleep...

Su Qinghe had a dream. In it, she seemed to have returned to her childhood, lying in her father’s warm embrace, carefree and blissfully happy.

...

「Evening, 6:30 PM.」

Gu Yifan watched Su Qinghe, who was curled up in his arms, sleeping soundly. She seemed to be having a sweet dream; a faint smile played on her lips, and she unconsciously nuzzled her head against his chest like a lazy little kitten.

Gu Yifan smiled slightly and couldn’t resist reaching out to gently poke her soft, rosy cheek.

In her sleep, Su Qinghe unconsciously furrowed her little brow but didn’t wake up.

As if struck by an idea, Gu Yifan reached for his phone on the nightstand, opened the camera, and took a selfie of the two of them.

CLICK~

The image was frozen in that moment.

Their looks were undeniable; even a casual snapshot was stunning.

Perhaps the camera’s shutter sound disturbed Su Qinghe. She subconsciously burrowed into Gu Yifan’s armpit, burying her head completely in his embrace. She clung to him like an octopus, their bodies pressed tightly together as if that made her feel more secure.

Feeling the pressure on his chest!

Gu Yifan couldn’t help but freeze for a moment. He then shook his head slightly, a helpless smile on his face.

A little while later.

Gu Yifan saw that it was getting late and was about to wake her up.

However, before he could, Su Qinghe woke up on her own.

The lashes beneath her beautiful, almond-shaped eyes trembled slightly before she groggily opened them.

At first, her eyes were filled with confusion, but the moment she saw Gu Yifan watching her with an amused expression, she was instantly wide awake.

Her face instantly flushed, and she grew shy and flustered.

When she realized she was lying entirely on top of Gu Yifan, she instinctively tried to struggle up.

But just then, Gu Yifan spoke. ”Don’t move. If I lose control in a minute, don’t blame me!”

”Huh?”

Su Qinghe froze for a second, but then it quickly dawned on her.

Her previously fair face was now so red it looked like it could boil water.

But after hearing Gu Yifan’s words, she didn’t dare to move. She just lay there in his arms, her face crimson.

Time passed, second by second.

After a long moment, both of them had calmed down.

In that instant, their minds were clear of any distracting thoughts; they were simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the moment.

Who knows how long passed. Seeing that the room had grown completely dark, Gu Yifan suddenly spoke from within the blackness. ”Alright, time to get up!”

”Oh, okay.”

Hearing Gu Yifan, Su Qinghe nodded, finally squirming out of his embrace and climbing off the bed.

But the moment she left his arms, a sense of loss instantly filled her heart.

Gu Yifan felt the same way. For a split second, he truly hadn’t wanted to let her go.

After all, they had slept for a whole afternoon. If they continued to be so intimate in bed, he was afraid he wouldn’t be able to hold back.

Even though it was a natural human impulse, he still felt it was too soon.

It wasn’t just that Su Qinghe wasn’t ready; he wasn’t ready himself.

’After all, for a girl like Su Qinghe, life has already been cruel enough. She can’t bear even the slightest bit more hurt.’

’If you can’t be the one to personally put a wedding dress on her, then you shouldn’t be so quick to take off her clothes.’

Gu Yifan had always felt the values behind that saying were spot on. But in this modern age of rampant materialism, how many people could truly stay with one person for life?

He, Gu Yifan, wasn’t confident either. So... he’d just have to wait and see. At least for now, it was still too early.

’Let’s just let things happen naturally!’
