Moving On from the Tsundere, I Choose the Perfect Sweetheart

Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Huge Blunder! Su Qinghe: I Want to Bite You to Death

DING~

The elevator doors on the 30th floor opened.

”We’re here, Hanhan. Let’s go!”

Gu Yifan said softly.

”Huh?”

Lost in her own wild thoughts, Su Qinghe only snapped back to reality when she heard Gu Yifan’s voice.

”Huh? What ’huh’?”

”I said we’re here!”

Seeing her dazed and distracted look, Gu Yifan found it a little strange.

”Oh, oh.”

Su Qinghe nodded hurriedly.

She bit her lower lip and, with an expression like she was marching to her doom, followed Gu Yifan out of the elevator.

...

Mountain City, Cuihu District, Building 7, Unit 3, Apartment 305.

RING-RING—RING-RING—

A clear telephone ringtone sounded.

Chen Dongmei, wearing an apron, rushed out of the kitchen, picked up the phone, and said, ”Hello? Who is this?”

No sooner had she spoken than a deep male voice came from the other end of the line. ”Hello, I’m a teacher from the admissions office of the Kyoto Music Academy. Is this Gu Yifan’s residence? I’d like to...”

CLICK!

But before the man could finish, Chen Dongmei hung up on him.

”Just as I thought! The closer it gets to the college entrance exam results, the more scammers there are! The school just had a talk about fraud prevention yesterday, and today I run into one!”

”Kyoto Music Academy, my foot! My son isn’t even an art student. This scammer is so unprofessional!”

”Pah, it takes all kinds!”

Chen Dongmei grumbled.

”Hm?”

Suddenly, she smelled something burning coming from the kitchen!

”Ah!”

”My fish!!!”

Her eyes suddenly widened, and she hurriedly threw down the phone and ran toward the kitchen.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the line, Chen Yi was completely dumbfounded.

’This... What just happened???’

’I only said a few words and she hung up. Did I dial the wrong number?’

He picked up the phone number from the desk and checked it again. ’This... it’s not wrong, is it?’

’What is going on???’

’Maybe I accidentally pressed something and hung up?’ he wondered.

So, he redialed the number and called again.

RING-RING—RING-RING—

Once again, the clear ringtone sounded.

In the kitchen, cleaning up the mess, Chen Dongmei couldn’t help but frown.

Still, she temporarily put down what she was doing and came out to answer the phone.

After the call connected, Chen Yi had learned his lesson this time!

He quickly began, ”Hello, I’m a teacher from the admissions office of the Kyoto Music Academy. Is this Gu Yifan’s residence? I’d like to—”

Hearing the same deep male voice on the other end, Chen Dongmei’s expression instantly darkened.

”It’s you again, you scammer! It was you just now, and it’s you again! You owe me for my fish!!!”

”I’m warning you, if you call again, I’m reporting you to the police!”

Chen Dongmei yelled furiously.

CLICK!

And with that, she slammed the phone down again!

Chen Yi: ”???”

’Scammer???’

’Owe her for a fish???’

’What is any of this about?!’

’Am I just doing this all wrong?’

Listening to the busy signal buzzing from the phone, he was utterly bewildered!

So, steeling himself, he gritted his teeth and dialed the number one more time.

”We’re sorry, the number you have dialed is currently unavailable. Please try again later. Sorry...”

Chen Yi: ”...-_-||”

Hearing that familiar voice, how could Chen Yi not know he’d been blocked!

’From her tone, it sounds like she thinks I’m a scammer?’

’But what the hell is this about owing her for a fish?!’

Chen Yi was completely baffled, feeling utterly speechless.

...

”Su Hanhan, what are you spacing out for? Come on in!”

Seeing Su Qinghe standing at the door with a complicated expression, Gu Yifan frowned and looked at her, exasperated.

”Oh, oh.”

Hearing Gu Yifan’s words, Su Qinghe bit her red lip, gave him a complicated look, and then nodded, her face blushing.

Seeing her act like this, Gu Yifan was a little confused.

’What’s wrong with this Hanhan?’

’Why is she suddenly acting so weird?’

He shook his head helplessly and casually closed the door after Su Qinghe came in.

But when Su Qinghe walked into the room, she froze.

Because the first thing that greeted her eyes was a living room...

The entire suite was incredibly spacious!

”Hey, Su Hanhan, there are two rooms. Pick one!”

Just as she was spacing out, Gu Yifan’s voice reached her ears.

”Huh?”

Su Qinghe hadn’t processed it yet, and she blurted out subconsciously, ”A-aren’t we sleeping together?”

The moment she said it, Gu Yifan’s eyes widened as he stared at her. ”You... you want to sleep with me?”

At that moment, Su Qinghe also realized what she’d just said. Her face instantly flushed red, and she frantically waved her hands. ”N-no, that’s not what I meant. I thought...”

But the further she spoke, the quieter her voice became.

How could Gu Yifan not understand what was going on by now!

’So this Hanhan thought I only booked one room and that she’d have to share a bed with me tonight!’

’No wonder she was acting so strangely earlier!’

Thinking of this, the corners of Gu Yifan’s mouth couldn’t help but curl up. He looked at Su Qinghe with a teasing smile. ”Su Hanhan, if you wanted to sleep with me, you should have said so earlier! If you had, I wouldn’t have booked this suite!”

”But... it doesn’t matter. It’s not like you can’t sleep with me!”

”Tonight, we can...”

”Ah?”

”N-no need! I’ll sleep in this room tonight!”

Su Qinghe’s face was now so red it looked like it might burst. She frantically opened one of the doors and scurried inside!

”Hahaha...”

Watching Su Qinghe flee in disarray, Gu Yifan couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

’What a silly Hanhan!’

Leaning against the other side of the door, Su Qinghe heard Gu Yifan’s laughter. Her little face turned as red as a boiled shrimp!

HUFF...

She took a deep breath, trying her best to calm down. If this continued, she felt like her face was going to be scalded off!

’But... that was so embarrassing!’

’That rotten Gu Yifan only knows how to bully me!’

Sob sob sob...

...

Two and a half minutes later.

The hotel staff brought up their luggage, and only then did Gu Yifan knock on Su Qinghe’s door.

A faint blush still lingered on Su Qinghe’s face, making her look incredibly alluring.

When Gu Yifan thought about what just happened, the corners of his mouth couldn’t help but curl up again.

But when Su Qinghe saw that slight curl at the corners of his mouth, how could she not know he was laughing at her!

Pouting, she felt the urge to pounce on that rotten Gu Yifan and bite him!

’But she also knew that if she really did pounce on him, she’d probably be the one who ended up getting eaten...’

Sob sob sob...

’My life is so hard!’

’This rotten Bully only knows how to pick on me all day...’
