Moving On from the Tsundere, I Choose the Perfect Sweetheart

Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Tiger Fangs Are Cute, But They’ll Scratch If Handled Improperly

Just as Su Qinghe was trying to figure out how she was going to bite the ”Big Bully,” Gu Yifan, to death, he spoke.

”Er... Su Hanhan, you’re baring your teeth like that. What kind of scene are you trying to make now?”

”I... I want to bite you to death!”

Su Qinghe hadn’t processed what was happening and subconsciously blurted out what she was thinking.

”Hmm?”

Gu Yifan paused. ”Bite me to death?”

Seeing her two adorable little canine teeth, Gu Yifan suddenly recalled a meme from TikTok in his past life. He shot Su Qinghe a meaningful glance and said, ”Those little canines of yours are cute, but you’re a beginner. If you don’t handle them right, you might scratch me!”

Su Qinghe: ”???”

She didn’t quite understand what Gu Yifan was saying.

Seeing Su Qinghe’s baffled expression, Gu Yifan didn’t bother explaining. He just smiled. ”Come on, let’s go get some lunch.”

With that, he took her small hand, and they walked out of the room.

...

Meanwhile, just as Gu Yifan and Su Qinghe were heading downstairs for lunch, something was happening far away in Mountain City, inside a milk tea shop called the Shanyu Tea Sect.

Han Ning was sitting with her best friend, Wu Xiaoyan, drinking milk tea.

Seeing Han Ning looking so gloomy, Wu Xiaoyan knew she was still upset about Gu Yifan rejecting her a few days ago.

As her best friend, she didn’t want to see Han Ning so down, but there was nothing she could do. It was a matter of the heart between the two of them, and an outsider had no place meddling.

She could only try her best to cheer Han Ning up by telling all sorts of funny stories, but no matter how much she talked herself hoarse, Han Ning remained completely unenthusiastic.

The only time Han Ning showed any reaction was when Gu Yifan’s name was mentioned.

Seeing this, Wu Xiaoyan felt completely helpless.

After a moment of thought, she couldn’t help but say, ”Xiaoning’er, it looks like you’ve really fallen for Gu Yifan!”

”Hmm?”

Han Ning froze. Hearing her best friend call her out so directly, her expression turned awkward.

This time, however, she didn’t proudly deny it. Instead, after a moment’s hesitation, she said softly, ”I don’t know if I have... I just know that my mind is filled with memories of him.”

”Sigh...”

Wu Xiaoyan sighed. ”If he’s all you can think about, then you’re in love. There’s no doubt about it.”

”I actually told you this before, but you insisted you didn’t feel that way about him, that you were just good friends. You even rejected his confession...”

At her friend’s words, the light in Han Ning’s eyes dimmed instantly.

”Sigh... forget it. It’s all in the past.”

”But... Xiaoning’er, what are you thinking now?”

”Are you going to try and win him back? Or just let it go?”

Wu Xiaoyan asked after a moment of hesitation.

Han Ning fell silent at her question.

After a moment, she slowly lifted her head, her gaze hardening with determination. ”I... I want to try and get him back. I don’t want to lose him!”

”Yes!”

”That’s more like it!”

”If you don’t want to give up on him, you have to get your spirits up! The confident, proud Princess Ning is the one who captivated Gu Yifan in the first place!”

Wu Xiaoyan said, trying to cheer her on.

”Right!”

Han Ning nodded emphatically, her face full of fighting spirit. But her resolve didn’t even last three seconds before her expression crumbled again.

She looked at her friend, her face crestfallen. ”But... Gu Yifan is ignoring me. He’s blocked me everywhere. I don’t know how I can possibly win him back...”

”Er... that is a problem.”

Wu Xiaoyan thought for a moment. ”Oh, by the way, Xiaoning’er, did you see the messages in the group chat this morning?”

”Hmm?”

The abrupt change in topic caught Han Ning off guard.

But she quickly caught on. ”Yeah... I saw it. That was him, and the girl in the crowd must have been Su Qinghe... He sang that song for her.”

As she said this, her eyes started to well up.

She felt a terrible sense of injustice. ’He only learned to play the guitar because of me!’

’And now, he’s using that very guitar to sing for another girl...’

”Er...”

Seeing Han Ning on the verge of tears, Wu Xiaoyan quickly interjected, ”Su Qinghe isn’t the point right now! From what I saw, it doesn’t look like they’re officially together yet. So, as long as you win Gu Yifan back, the rest will take care of itself!”

”Huh?”

Hearing her friend’s words, a glimmer of hope returned to Han Ning’s eyes. She looked at Wu Xiaoyan. ”Really, Xiaoyan? They’re not together yet?”

”Yep!”

”Based on what I saw last time, they don’t seem like a couple. Their actions were a little intimate, sure, but it wasn’t natural!”

”I think Gu Yifan only held her hand to make you jealous!”

Wu Xiaoyan said with total conviction.

’Then does that mean Gu Yifan still likes me?’

A thrill of joy went through Han Ning.

”Exactly!”

”At least, that’s what I think. He’s been in love with you for so many years. How could he just fall out of love overnight? It doesn’t make any sense!”

Wu Xiaoyan stated confidently.

”Then... Xiaoyan, what do you think I should do to win him back?”

Han Ning asked after a moment of thought.

”Hmm... let me think...”

Wu Xiaoyan mulled it over for a second, then leaned in and whispered in Han Ning’s ear, ”Okay, here’s the plan! First, get Wang Zibo to help you lure Gu Yifan out... then you do this... and then that...”

After hearing her friend’s plan, a blush instantly spread across Han Ning’s exquisitely beautiful face.

She hesitated, then asked shyly in a small voice, ”W-Will that really work?”

”Of course it will!”

”Let me tell you, it’s not just girls who feel a special connection to the guy who took their virginity. It’s the same for guys!”

”They never forget their first!”

”Once you two have slept together, I refuse to believe he’ll still ignore you!”

”He’ll come running right back to you, you’ll see!”

”You two just need a catalyst right now!”

”Once you break this stalemate, your relationship will naturally go back to the way it was!”

Wu Xiaoyan said, dead serious.

”But...”

Han Ning hesitated, but deep down, she was tempted by the idea...

...

「Back in Tan State」

At that moment, Gu Yifan and Su Qinghe were having lunch in the hotel restaurant.

”Quietly holding the blue porcelain token, I keep my promise. Partings always come when I am lost...”

Just then, his phone, sitting on the table, started to ring.

Gu Yifan paused. He casually picked up his phone and saw it was an unknown number.

He frowned slightly. ’Who could this be?’ After a moment’s thought, he answered the call anyway.
