Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 153: Yan Country has already tested the flight? We are still in the process of development?Chapter 153: Yan Country has already tested the flight? We are still in the process of development?

This information is simply shocking!
Yan Country has successfully developed a helicopter that is unique in the world - the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

What’s even more surprising is that this Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is exactly the same as the helicopter envisioned by Boeing and Bell Helicopter!
what on earth is it?

The reality is even more dramatic: Yan’s Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft has begun test flights, while the helicopters of Boeing and Bell Helicopter in Yingjiang are still in the design and development stage.

Faced with such an urgent situation, Boeing and Bell Helicopter immediately held an emergency joint meeting to discuss how to respond to the challenges posed by Yan Country’s new helicopters.

The situation becomes particularly tricky, especially considering that this helicopter is highly similar to the one they jointly designed and developed.

As members of the R&D team jointly formed by both parties arrived one after another, the meeting finally officially began.

The members of the R&D team were all confused.

I don’t understand why everyone was called to this meeting.

This situation is extremely rare.

Gary Aurelio, the representative of Boeing, was sitting in the main seat. His face was very gloomy. He said seriously, ”Gentlemen, I have to tell you some very bad news.”

Hearing this, everyone present felt nervous and uneasy.

”Bad news...what does this mean?” someone asked in a low voice.

”Is our team going to be disbanded?” another person asked worriedly.

”Does it mean that the two companies will develop helicopters separately?” someone else speculated worriedly.

The crowd below immediately started talking in a noisy manner, filling the entire conference room with an uneasy atmosphere.

In fact, this scientific research team jointly formed by Boeing and Bell Helicopter is not as harmonious as it seems.

The two sides often compete with each other behind the scenes and even secretly create trouble for each other.

”Quiet! Everyone, be quiet!” Gary Aurelio roared angrily, his voice echoing throughout the conference room.

His eyes were wide open and his face was flushed. Aurelio roared angrily, his voice echoing throughout the conference room.

It turned out that Sorel Knoss had lost the competition with Gary Aurelio for the position of leader of the helicopter project, and had always held a grudge against Gary Aurelio, often making sarcastic remarks about him.

Gary Aurelio sighed secretly, and then continued: ”This is the intelligence we received from other channels.”

”Yan Country has already taken a step ahead of us and developed a foldable tilt-rotor aircraft and completed its first test flight.”

When Gary Aurelio told his news, everyone at the scene looked incredulous.

”what?”

”how can that be possible?”

”Does Yan Country have such strength?”

”Still testing it?”

Everyone present knew how difficult it was to develop a foldable tilt-rotor aircraft. Even the two best aircraft companies in the world combined could not develop it. Yet Yan Country had developed it and even tested it?

Is today April Fools’ Day?
Sorel Knoss on the side was the first to question: ”Gary, are you kidding me?”

”Does Yan Country have such strength?”

Gary Aurelio didn’t waste any time and directly handed a document to Sorel Knoss to show him that the matter was as serious as he said.

Sorel Knoss, who received the document, was very relaxed at first, thinking that Gary Aurelio was exaggerating and wondering if Boeing was going to withdraw from the foldable tilt-rotor aircraft project.

Suddenly Sorel Knoss frowned and exclaimed: ”This is impossible?”

”How could Yan Country have the ability to manufacture this kind of helicopter?” ”It must be a mistake!”

After reading it, Sorel Knoss looked up at Gary Aurelio in front of him, hoping to hear from him that the information was false.

”Sorrel, this intelligence was sent by an agent hiding in Yan Country. The last page is a photo taken by our satellite. Although it is a little blurry, you can get a general idea of it.”

”Yan Country does have a foldable helicopter!”

Gary Aurelio replied with a serious face.

He didn’t believe it at first.

But as more and more intelligence was handed to him, he had to believe that Yan Country was really one step ahead of them and had developed a foldable tilt-rotor aircraft, and its code name was exactly the same as theirs.

Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft!!!

……

At Gary Aurelio’s signal, everyone present saw the contents of the document.

After a while, sighs were heard from the conference room: ”Hiss!”

Everyone in the scientific research team lost their composure just like Sorel Knoss.

There’s nothing we can do about it, since the news Gary Aurelio brought was so explosive.

They finally believed that a military factory in Yan State had developed a foldable tilt-rotor aircraft earlier than them.

After Gary Aurelio let everyone calm down, he asked seriously: ”Everyone, what do you think we should do next?”

At this time, everyone below was silent.

The main reason was that the news brought by Gary Aurelio was so explosive that it stunned everyone.

Now they are still in a state of confusion.

Sorel Knoss on the side suppressed his inner anxiety and said slowly: ”Gary, we need to continue to find out the information about the foldable tilt-rotor aircraft in the hands of Yan Country.”

”We will also increase the research and development of our own foldable tilt-rotor aircraft.”

Sorel Knoss also fears that the two companies will suddenly announce the dissolution of the foldable tilt-rotor project.

Sorel Knoss is now one of the overall leaders of a project.

It is a rare opportunity to develop a new helicopter.

Sorel Knoss certainly wouldn’t want to go back.

He also wanted to develop new things so that he could be more valued when he returned to Bell Helicopter.

Gary Aurelio glanced at Sorel Knoss and thought to himself, ”Huh? Sorel, you finally put aside your damn sense of nobility and are willing to cooperate?”

”If you hadn’t interfered, we would have completed the research on foldable tilt-rotor aircraft long ago. We developed the world’s first foldable tilt-rotor aircraft.”

Of course, this is what Gary Aurelio really thinks and he won’t say it in public.

Since Sorel Konos is willing to cooperate, Gary Aurelio will be magnanimous and let him go.

”Sorrel, we at Boeing will continue to follow up on the intelligence about Yan Country’s foldable tilt-rotor aircraft.”

”I hope you can lead us to develop a foldable tilt-rotor aircraft as soon as possible, otherwise we cannot guarantee that our two companies will not cancel this project.”
