Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 146 What? Insufficient military funds? Then you can purchase on a small scale!Chapter 146 What? Insufficient military funds? Then you can purchase on a small scale!

Lin Chenran said with a look of grievance: ”Commanders, although the Z-20 heavy helicopter is expensive, it is definitely worth the money!”

He went on to explain: ”I quoted the military an ex-factory price of 2000 million Yanbi. You should know that the purchase price of Saudi Arabia in the Camel area is as high as 1200 million US dollars.”

In comparison, the price offered by the Yan country’s military for purchasing the Z-20 heavy helicopters is indeed very favorable.

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal can be said to be extremely conscientious.

However, judging from the current situation of the Yan State military, it is not easy to come up with 20 billion Yan coins at once.

But Mr. Wei didn’t believe Lin Chenran’s “nonsense”. How could the Z-20 heavy helicopter be so expensive?

He couldn’t help but cursed: ”You kid, you even want to make money from the military? 2000 million Yanbi for a Z-20 heavy helicopter, you really dare to ask!”

”You eat our military’s car?”

The high-ranking naval official standing nearby, Mr. Zhang, also nodded repeatedly in agreement.

The price was beyond their expectations.

Lin Chenran quickly explained: ”My dear leaders, the factory price of the Z-20 heavy helicopter is indeed 2000 million Yanbi, and we also gave you the cheapest price. Our 077 Mechanical Military Factory did not make any profit from you at all.”

”You spent 24 million U.S. dollars to import 1.4 Black Hawk helicopters from the Eagle Sauce.”

Lin Chenran continued to expose the scar: ”And it is a civilian version of the Black Hawk helicopter.”

”Is its configuration comparable to the Z-077 heavy helicopter produced by our 20 Machinery Arsenal?”

As he spoke, he spread his hands, with a hint of helplessness and confusion in his tone.

Lin Chenran’s words made the atmosphere at the scene awkward. The military representatives of Yan country blushed, obviously feeling embarrassed.

They exchanged glances and muttered to themselves, ”This Lin Chenran speaks too bluntly...”

Old Wei, who was sitting next to him, stared at Lin Chenran with a blush on his face, but it quickly disappeared.

Then he coughed lightly and gave Lin Chenran a meaningful look.

Elder Wei thought to himself, ”Well said, Lin, don’t say that again next time.”

Spending 1.4 million US dollars to introduce 24 Black Hawk helicopters has become the ”black history” of the Yan State military.

Especially since these 24 Black Hawk helicopters are only civilian versions.

The most annoying thing is that the Black Hawk helicopter cannot be copied by Yan Country.

Lin Chenran’s words undoubtedly brought to the surface the thing that the Yan State military was most reluctant to mention, and it also severely opened up the scar and hit the pain point!

”You little bastard, believe it or not, I’m going to call your old man right now!”

Zhang Lao who was standing by couldn’t bear to watch it anymore and directly used his ultimate move - the Great Summoning Technique!
I just want to ask you, Lin Chenran, if you are afraid.

”Ah? Mr. Zhang, please stop using my old man to pressure me.”

“I would be really scared.”

”I’m so panicked now that my legs are shaking unconsciously.”

Lin Chenran scratched his head helplessly.

”then you……”

The corners of Zhang Lao’s mouth slightly raised, and he was secretly proud in his heart: ”Old Man Lin’s name is still useful.”

Mr. Lin: #%@
”1800 million Yanbi, this is the final price we can offer. It doesn’t even include the labor costs. It’s completely a subsidy to the military.”

Lin Chenran frowned slightly, looking somewhat helpless, and sighed softly.

Then, he slowly said: ”In fact, the military does not need to buy 100 Z-20 heavy helicopters at one time, it can be purchased in batches.”

”This way, we can both meet your needs and ease the pressure on military spending.”

Lin Chenran made this suggestion to the Yan State military.

First, purchase a small batch of Z-20 heavy helicopters and then train a group of pilots to fly these aircraft.

Wait until there is enough funds before purchasing the next batch.

This gradual approach will not impose too much burden on the military, while ensuring the improvement of combat effectiveness. This is a more reasonable compromise.

It can satisfy the interests of both parties without causing the transaction to come to a deadlock.

The purchase of small batches of Z-20 heavy helicopters is in line with the requirements of the Yan country’s military.

Upon hearing this, all the senior military officials of Yan State present felt that it made sense.

They also couldn’t come up with 18 billion Yan coins at once to purchase 100 Z-20 heavy helicopters.

In this case, let’s use Lin Chenran’s method, a compromise, and first purchase a small batch of Z-20 heavy helicopters.

How to distribute it at that time is the Yan State military’s own problem.

……

Then Lin Chenran revealed another important information.

That is, the first batch of Z-077 heavy helicopters produced by the 20 Mechanical Military Factory will not be delivered to the Yan State military, but to the Saudi State in the Camel area.

Saudi Arabia in the Camel area is a major customer of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory!

To the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, they are like ”Gods”.

It is only natural to give priority to meeting the needs of Saudi Arabia.

……

Time passed quickly, and a month went by in a flash. The Z-077 heavy helicopter of the 20 Mechanical Military Factory finally completed various tests and officially started large-scale production.

The first batch of 10 Z-20 heavy-duty helicopters were delivered to Saudi Arabia in the Camel region.

After the Z-20 heavy helicopters were added to the Saudi army in the Camel area, the Saudi top brass immediately ordered Abdul to form a rapid reaction force.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia’s big moves in the camel region attracted the attention of many countries.

Is Saudi Arabia going to set up a rapid reaction force in the Camel region?
This is great news for many countries, or for countries that sell arms.

The newly formed Saudi Arabian troops in the Camel region will definitely purchase a batch of weapons.

And the quantity is quite large.

As a result, military-industrial enterprises from various countries have ”recommended themselves” to sell their own weapons and equipment.

Everyone knows that Saudi Arabia has a lot of money in the Camel region.

Everyone knows that ”I am the richest man in the world with just a piece of cloth on my head”.

But what is strange is that Saudi Arabia in the Camel region directly rejected military-industrial enterprises from various countries.

And inform the other party that they already have sufficient weapons and equipment and there is no need to purchase any more for the time being.

This has left representatives of military-industrial enterprises from various countries confused.

What is going on here?
……

At the same time, Sean Carl, the Eagle Sauce garrison officer in the Camel area, received a top-secret intelligence.

The intelligence content is about why Saudi Arabia formed a rapid reaction force in the Camel region instead of purchasing weapons and equipment on a large scale.

”How can this be?”

Shane Carr immediately asked his subordinate officers to notify Valere Berna to come over.

He also ordered his most elite agents to enter the Camel area of Saudi Arabia to gather the latest intelligence.

Soon, Valere Berna came to Shane Carr’s office.

”Captain Karl, you’re looking for me?”

Valere Bernard saluted and asked in confusion.

And Shane Karl handed the information over directly.

After reading it, Valere Berna took a deep breath and said, ”Hiss!”
