Chapter 126 The Father of Yan Country HelicoptersChapter 126 The Father of Yan Country Helicopters

”In order to meet the needs of the military, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory developed two types of helicopters at one time.” Lin Chenran said with a serious face, hoping to get support from the Yan Country military.

”One of the helicopters is relatively mature and has preliminary design drawings. This helicopter is a heavy-duty helicopter and will have strong transport capabilities and the ability to adapt to complex environments.”

Lin Chenran briefly introduced this helicopter to Mr. Wei.

”Forehead?”

The more Mr. Wei listened, the more he felt something was wrong. Was the helicopter that Lin Chenran mentioned the same as the Chinook heavy helicopter in the hands of the Eagle Sauce?

Elder Wei interrupted Lin Chenran directly: ”Lin boy, how come this helicopter looks exactly like the Eagle Sauce’s Chinook heavy helicopter?”

”Haha, I used the Chinook heavy helicopter of Eagle Sauce as a template to design a new heavy helicopter.”

Since he was discovered, Lin Chenran admitted it without hesitation.

”What?”

”A replica of the Chinook heavy helicopter?”

”Does the 077 Mechanical Military Factory have such strength?”

Old Wei frowned!
The 077 Mechanical Military Factory should not have the design drawings of the Chinook heavy helicopter in the hands of Eagle Sauce.

There was no Chinook heavy helicopter prototype for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to reverse-engineer.

How could Lin Chenran be so unreliable?

It is better to imitate the Black Hawk helicopter than to imitate the Chinook heavy helicopter.

It’s not that the Black Hawk helicopter is superior to the Chinook heavy helicopter.

Instead, Yan Country has the prototype of the Black Hawk helicopter.

The 077 Mechanical Military Factory has nothing, yet it wants to imitate the Chinook heavy helicopter of the Eagle Sauce?
”Lin, I’m not trying to discourage you, but it would be better to copy the Black Hawk helicopter than to copy the Chinook heavy helicopter from scratch!”

If Lin Chenran didn’t have the design drawings and prototype of the Chinook heavy helicopter, he wouldn’t have copied it.

But now Lin Chenran does have the design drawings and prototype of the Chinook heavy helicopter.

”Mr. Wei, don’t worry. Since you want to imitate the Chinook heavy helicopter of the Eagle Sauce, I have the confidence to make it. As long as you help us find a chief designer for the project.”

Lin Chenran patted his chest and answered affirmatively.

”Boy, if I find them for you, and your 077 Mechanical Military Factory fails to copy the Chinook heavy helicopter, I will let you taste my little martial arts skills.”

Mr. Wei threatened directly.

”No problem. If you can’t figure it out, I’ll stand here and let you hit me. I won’t hide when the time comes.”

Lin Chenran assured Mr. Wei that there was no problem at all.

Since Lin Chenran promised him that he could replicate the Chinook heavy helicopter, the greatest support that Mr. Wei gave him was to invite top aviation talents to join this project.

Then, Lin Chenran continued: ”As for the other multi-purpose helicopter, this one is relatively sci-fi and can be called a transport aircraft.”

”Its unique design concept will provide the military with more diversified combat support.”

To sum up in one sentence: ”We, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, are designing two types of helicopters and need your support talents!”

……

Just three days later, Mr. Wei called Lin Chenran directly and asked him to go to Nanjing.

Wang Shicun wants to meet Lin Chenran and talk about the two helicopters in the hands of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Lin, I have already contacted Mr. Wang for you. Now it depends on your ability to invite him to join your 077 Mechanical Military Factory to copy the Chinook heavy helicopter project as the chief designer.”

Mr. Wei explained directly.

”Forehead?”

”Mr. Wei, that’s it?”

”At least you have to help me! Otherwise...”

Lin Chenran began to stammer.

”I won’t go. I’m quite busy at the moment and have several important meetings for me to chair.”

After saying this, Mr. Wei hung up the phone without giving Lin Chenran any chance to bargain.

”This……”

“This isn’t reliable!”

Lin Chenran sighed deeply.

In that case, I can only rely on myself from now on.

Lin Chenran felt somewhat uneasy. After all, facing such an authoritative figure in the aviation industry, one could imagine the pressure he felt.

But he was well aware of the importance of this meeting.

If Wang Shicun can be successfully persuaded to join, it will be a huge leap forward for the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Lin Chenran organized his thoughts and began to prepare relevant materials.

It includes the current technical strength of the 077 Machinery Arsenal, future development plans, and a detailed introduction to the Chinook heavy helicopter imitation project.

At the same time, he also carefully studied Wang Shicun’s background and achievements, hoping to find some common topics and enhance mutual understanding.

, Lin Chenran embarked on the journey to Nanjing with a nervous and expectant mood.

Along the way, he kept thinking about how to communicate with Wang Shicun and how to show the advantages and sincerity of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

When he arrived in Nanjing, his mood became more complicated.

But now he has no way to retreat.

Finally, Lin Chenran met Mr. Wang Shicun, who was known as the ”Father of Yan Country Helicopters” at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

”Mr. Wang, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet me.” Lin Chenran smiled slightly.

”Chen Ran, not long ago, the old man Wei from the military found me and invited me to your 077 Mechanical Military Factory to serve as the chief designer of the Chinook heavy helicopter imitation project.”

”I heard that you wanted to invite me to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and then report it to the military.” Wang Shicun said with a smile.

”Forehead?”

”This……”

Beads of sweat appeared on Lin Chenran’s brow.

”Yes, Mr. Wang, you are an authority in the field of domestic helicopters. When our 077 Machinery Military Factory wanted to manufacture advanced helicopters, you were the first person I thought of.”

Lin Chenran directly ”started to flatter” and praised the other party repeatedly.

”You boy!!!”

”No wonder Old Man Wei told me that you are a little rascal. I didn’t believe it at first, but now I do.”

Wang Shicun burst into laughter.

”Mr. Wang, this is a huge slander. How could I be such a person?”

Lin Chenran tried to argue, but when he saw the smile on Wang Shicun’s face, it seemed that no matter how he explained, it would be useless.

I could only smile awkwardly.

After some simple banter, the two no longer seemed so strange to the audience.

Then the two reached an agreement and got straight to the point.

Lin Chenran took out a simple Chinook heavy helicopter design drawing from his briefcase and handed it to Wang Shicun beside him, asking him to ”inspect the goods.”

When Wang Shicun opened the first page, he was completely surprised.

”This……”

”how come!”

Afterwards, after Wang Shicun carefully looked at the design drawings of the Chinook heavy helicopter brought by Lin Chenran, his expression kept changing.

Ten minutes later, Wang Shicun suppressed his excitement and said, ”Lin, how did you get the design drawings of the Chinook heavy helicopter?”
