Chapter 152 Osprey Multi-Purpose Transport Aircraft: I am expensive for a reasonChapter 152 Osprey Multi-Purpose Transport Aircraft: I am expensive for a reason

It is expensive for a reason!

The Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is the only tilt-rotor aircraft in the world today that has both vertical take-off and short-range take-off and landing capabilities!

This Osprey transport aircraft is simply a unique existence. Its appearance looks like an ordinary fixed-wing aircraft, but it actually hides a mystery.

The two rotatable engines at the wingtips drive the two huge rotors, which is amazing.

When it is in fixed-wing mode, it is like an airplane with two super-large propellers installed on the wingtips on both sides;

In helicopter mode, it transforms into a helicopter with two smaller rotors.

This design allows it to have the vertical take-off and landing capabilities of a helicopter while also enjoying the advantages of a fixed-wing propeller aircraft, such as high speed, long range and low fuel consumption.

What’s even more impressive is that its maximum flight speed is as high as 509 kilometers per hour, which is fully worthy of the honorary title of “the fastest helicopter in the world”!

Such excellent performance is really worth the money!

Of course, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is very worthwhile for the Yan State military leaders!

The Yan country’s military is really poor now!
Now they can only make small-scale purchases.

Want to buy in bulk?
An empty bag, but it’s still okay if you think about it.

……

After the military leaders of Yan Country watched and felt the charm of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft up close, the next most important part of the day was the test flight of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

Lin Chenran took everyone on the sightseeing bus and returned to the audience seats.

Along the way, everyone excitedly discussed the test flight of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft, looking forward to witnessing the arrival of a historic moment.

As soon as he arrived at the audience seats, Lin Chenran immediately signaled the staff of his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory to conduct a final inspection of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft that was about to undergo a test flight.

Make sure the aircraft does not have any faults or safety hazards to ensure the smooth progress of the test flight.

Time passed minute by minute, and after ten minutes of careful inspection, the engineers of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory finally confirmed that the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft was in good condition and could be tested.

Upon hearing the news, Lin Chenran gave the ”test flight” order without hesitation.

The test pilot’s heart was filled with nervousness and anxiety, but he tried hard to suppress his inner fear and began to operate the various instruments of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft in an orderly manner.

In the busy and intense operation, the test pilot has forgotten his inner fear.

As he moved, the plane’s engine emitted a low roar, as if a sleeping beast was waking up.

Amid the cheers of the crowd, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft began to slowly spread out its huge ”arms”.

At this moment, everyone held their breath, their eyes fixed on this huge aircraft.

This scene is so shocking and sci-fi!
It seems like a product from the future world, and one can’t help but marvel at the powerful R&D capabilities of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

The atmosphere on the scene was warm and exciting!
”So cool!!!” someone couldn’t help but exclaim.

……

The arms of this Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft slowly spread out, like a giant flying bird spreading its wings.

As the arms stretched out, the two large propellers on them began to work. They kept turning, making a low and powerful roar.

Everyone witnessed this scene and couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise.

They asked curiously: ”Won’t the two propellers hit each other? Why didn’t anything go wrong?”

Lin Chenran smiled and explained to everyone: ”In fact, the rotation frequencies of the two propellers of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft are not the same.”

”Because their speed is so fast, beyond the range that the human eye can capture, our eyes cannot accurately capture their rotation frequency, causing the brain to receive a wrong message and mistakenly believe that the rotation frequency of the two propellers is the same.”

After listening to Lin Chenran’s explanation, everyone at the scene suddenly understood. So that’s how it is!

+1 for useful knowledge!

Under the expectant gaze of the crowd, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft began to slowly rise into the air, and everyone at the scene stared at it closely.

As the plane gradually rose higher, everyone began to cheer excitedly.

”Great! We did it!”

“This is so powerful!”

The test pilot skillfully operated the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft, flying it around the test field, demonstrating its excellent performance and maneuverability.

When the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft rises to a certain altitude, the pilot begins to operate the aircraft’s wings to tilt them forward.

The aircraft entered parallel flight mode and the fuselage remained level.

At this time, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft flew steadily at an astonishing maximum speed of 509 kilometers per hour, demonstrating its excellent flying capabilities.

However, this high-speed flying brings huge risks.

During the transition, if any slight mishap occurs, the aircraft may immediately lose balance and crash.

Therefore, the audience present held their breath nervously, praying secretly in their hearts that everything would go well.

As time passed, everyone became more and more nervous.

Finally, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft successfully completed the transition from vertical takeoff to parallel flight, and everyone couldn’t help but cheer.

”Great!”

”We did it!”

Their faces were filled with pride and joy.

The success of this test flight means that the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft has a wider application prospect and can perform missions in various complex environments.

”Lin, congratulations to your 077 Mechanical Military Factory for developing another excellent helicopter.”

Mr. Wei, who was standing by, saw that the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft was flying smoothly without any problems, and then he smiled and congratulated Lin Chenran who was standing beside him.

”Thank you, Mr. Wei!”

Lin Chenran said modestly: ”But this is the result of the joint efforts of all employees of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory. Without their hard work and wisdom, this helicopter would not have been developed so smoothly.”

Lin Chenran knew that the successful development of this Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft was inseparable from the efforts of every engineer and technician involved.

They worked day and night to overcome technical difficulties, which made it possible for this helicopter to be presented to everyone so brilliantly.

Although the military leaders of Yan State attach great importance to the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft, their empty pockets do not allow them to make large-scale purchases.

The Yan State military only conducts small-scale purchases.

Purchase 10 Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

And these 10 Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft are mostly allocated for use by the Yan Country Navy!

……

At the same time, the American intelligence officers sent a piece of intelligence back to the country.

It caused an instant uproar!
