Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 131 You don’t have a shipyard, but our navy does!!!Chapter 131 You don’t have a shipyard, but our navy does!!!
Mr. Zhang was not satisfied with the design and development plans of the new missile destroyers proposed by a number of domestic shipyards.

So, he directly asked Lin Chenran for his opinion.

”Forehead?”

”Mr. Zhang, I don’t think that’s a good idea!”

Lin Chenran just went for it despite his scalp.

A number of domestic shipyards are caught in a vicious circle and have great limitations.

They also don’t have much experience in designing, developing and manufacturing missile destroyers.

”Mr. Zhang, you don’t think so too, do you?”

Lin Chenran looked at Mr. Zhang who had a serious face and spoke jokingly.

”Yes, I am not very satisfied.” Mr. Zhang answered truthfully.

Then Mr. Zhang joked, ”I feel that the design and development plans of these new missile destroyers are not worthy of the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher of your 077 Mechanical Arsenal.”

Suddenly everyone burst into laughter.

It is true that the design and development plans of the new missile destroyers of a number of shipyards are really not worthy of the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Zhang Lao smiled and said, ”Since you are not satisfied, then let your 077 Machinery Arsenal help our navy design an excellent new missile destroyer.”

Mr. Zhang spoke directly to the point.

The dagger is directly shown in the picture.

”what?”

”I~Our 077 Mechanical Arsenal will help the Navy design and develop a missile destroyer?”

”Mr. Zhang, are you not confused?”

Lin Chenran found it incredible that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory was quite good at researching other weapons.

warship?

That was really the first time Granny Liu entered the Grand View Garden!
”That’s right. Since you think the design and development plans of the shipyards are inappropriate and backward, then you can redesign and develop a missile destroyer.”

Mr. Zhang smiled faintly.

”Mr. Zhang, that’s impossible. We at the 077 Machinery Arsenal can only assist. As you know, we don’t even have any warship design talent in our factory. How can we design and develop a missile destroyer?”

Lin Chenran just kept shaking his head and directly rejected Mr. Zhang’s proposal.

This is a bad idea!

”Then your 077 Mechanical Military Factory does not have the foundation for helicopter research and development. In order to design and develop two helicopters, you also merged the 811 Aviation Military Factory and the 092 Aviation Military Factory.”

Mr. Zhang said this with a serious face.

”Forehead?”

”Do you value the army and air force more than the navy?”

Mr. Zhang directly put a big hat on Lin Chenran.

If this gets out, it will cause a lot of harm to Lin Chenran’s grandfather.

”how could be?”

”It’s just that our 077 Mechanical Arsenal is short of funds, and the cost of building a warship is astronomical.”

”We don’t have a ready-made shipyard. It’s hard for a good cook to make a meal without rice!”

Lin Chenran declined Zhang’s request to design and develop a new type of missile destroyer on the grounds that his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory did not have warship design engineers or shipyards.

”Your 077 Mechanical Arsenal doesn’t have a shipyard, but we do!”

Seeing that Lin Chenran fell into the trap he had set in advance, Mr. Zhang directly said that they had a shipyard that could be absorbed by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Forehead?”

Lin Chenran suddenly realized.

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal was also favored by the Yan Country Navy.

In other words, the earning ability of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal is valued by the Navy.

Most of the US dollars in foreign exchange that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory was ”extorted” by the Yan Country’s military were used for the development of the army.

In particular, the Apocalypse tanks in the hands of the Army were funded by ”extorting” money from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

The Navy also wants to connect with the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, and then obtain part of the funds from the other party to build new warships.

”What?”

”Mr. Zhang, did you say it wrong, or did I hear it wrong?” ”You want to merge a shipyard into our 077 Machinery Military Factory?”

Lin Chenran exclaimed in disbelief.

“Yes, we have such an idea.”

”Anyway, if you want the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to grow and develop, the shipyard is indispensable to you.”

Mr. Zhang gave a look that said, ”I’m thinking about your 077 Mechanical Arsenal.”

”Forehead?”

”Mr. Zhang, you know that a shipyard requires a huge amount of investment.”

”Where can our 077 Machinery Military Factory get so much money to invest in a shipyard?”

The shipyard that the Yan Country Navy gave to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal must have been a rather dilapidated one that was on the verge of bankruptcy. It was impossible for it to be given to a shipyard that was developing well.

After taking over, the 077 Mechanical Arsenal will certainly have to invest a lot of money to purchase various new shipbuilding equipment.

According to this calculation, it is not cost-effective at all for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”I don’t care. That’s something you have to deal with.”

”And the shipyards that our navy has given us have some capabilities and have made some progress.”

Mr. Zhang was just being a rogue and made the arrangements between the 077 Mechanical Military Factory and Lin Chenran very clear.

Lin Chenran gave a bitter smile.

The first level of officialdom crushes people to death!

There is a saying that goes: ”Since you can’t resist, you can only enjoy it.”

”Mr. Zhang, the shipyard you gave me is...”

”Jiangnan Shipyard—Codename 704!!!”

Lin Chenran was instantly excited when he heard this: ”What? Jiangnan Shipyard? No way?”

He found it incredible anyway. Why would the Navy allow the 704 Jiangnan Shipyard to be merged into the 077 Mechanical Arsenal!

”That’s right. Our navy has decided to merge the 704 shipyard into your 077 mechanical weapons factory, but there is a condition. That is, we will need various warship designs and research and development in the future. You can’t say no!!!”

Mr. Zhang stated a condition, but for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, it was quite simple.

Of course, this is only relatively simple for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

The design and development of warships requires huge capital investment.

Especially aircraft carriers!!!
”When will the Jiangnan Shipyard be incorporated into the 077 Machinery and Military Factory?”

Obviously, Lin Chenran was impressed by Mr. Zhang’s conditions and was eager to merge the 704 Shipyard into his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”You can do it anytime, but you must design a new type of guided missile destroyer within one and a half months.”

Mr. Zhang directly gave Lin Chenran a specific time. The 077 Shipyard under the 704 Mechanical Military Factory must complete the design of the new missile destroyer within the specified time.

”No problem. As long as the 704 Shipyard is incorporated into our 077 Mechanical Arsenal, the new missile destroyer will not be a problem.”

Lin Chenran patted his chest and answered affirmatively.

”Okay, I’ll wait for your good news.”

”You must design the most perfect guided missile destroyer in your mind.”

Mr. Zhang knows Lin Chenran’s strength.

He needed the other party to do their best to develop a new type of missile destroyer.

There is no way, the Yan Kingdom’s navy is extremely poor.

For a long time, this missile destroyer will be the one defending the sea borders.

”No problem, I promise.”

”It will definitely be an excellent guided missile destroyer.”

”And we will also reserve a lot of space to wait for the installation of new weapons and equipment.”
