Chapter 129 Participated in the Navy's New Missile Destroyer SeminarChapter 129 Participated in the Navy’s New Missile Destroyer Seminar

Inside the office of the director of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory in Linjiang Province.

The sunlight shines through the window onto the desk, casting a golden glow.

Lin Chenran sat at his desk, talking to Song Xiyun with a focused expression.

They all had serious expressions on their faces, as if they were discussing something important.

After a while, Lin Chenran will embark on a business trip again.

He couldn’t refuse this trip.

Because the Yan Country Navy invited the 077 Mechanical Arsenal to participate in a seminar on the latest missile destroyers.

If Lin Chenran doesn’t go, then General Zhang from the Navy will come to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal in person, and no matter how he explains it will be useless.

Lin Chenran decided to attend the seminar in person and make preparations in advance.

As the 077 Mechanical Arsenal continued to grow and develop, Lin Chenran found himself becoming increasingly busy.

Although he has delegated some of his power to other senior executives, there are still many important matters that he needs to handle personally.

Especially those decisions that require his final decision cannot be made without his participation.

Lin Chenran shook his head helplessly and said to Song Xiyun, ”Mr. Song, I’m so sorry, I have to go on a business trip again.”

During my business trip, I hope you can take care of all the matters in the factory.” His tone was full of apology and trust.

As the second-in-command of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, Song Xiyun is experienced and capable.

With him around, Lin Chenran believes that the work in the factory can proceed smoothly.

Song Xiyun nodded to show his understanding and support.

How can I not understand and support it!
If Lin Chenran goes to attend the meeting, then Song Xiyun will need to attend significantly fewer meetings.

No need to travel around to attend meetings.

It is rare for factory managers to personally handle business in this day and age.

Especially state-owned military industrial enterprises similar to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Mr. Song, your main focus is on the production of the Apocalypse tanks in the factory, as well as the design and development of two helicopters.”

In particular, attention must be paid to the helicopter project.

These two helicopters will change the backward situation of Yan State in the fields of helicopters, short-distance flight, and short-distance delivery of materials and personnel.

Our country has a vast territory and many mountains and plateaus. Some areas are over 3000 meters above sea level. The mountains are high and the clouds are thick, so airplanes cannot reach them and we can only rely on helicopters.

The Yan country’s military previously purchased 24 Black Hawk helicopters to solve this problem.

Yan Country has a very long border, with a large number of mountains and jungles. If there are not enough helicopters, many places will become blind spots for monitoring. Having heavy helicopters and multi-functional helicopters can solve these problems well.

”Chenran, don’t worry, I will always pay attention to the development progress of our two helicopters.”

Song Xiyun certainly knew the importance of these two helicopters.

Especially the project of imitating the Chinook heavy helicopter, which was reached in cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the Camel region.

A large amount of design and development funds were obtained from the other party, and the signed contract set a time limit for the Chinook heavy helicopter copy project from design and development to production line launch.

The Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region must have had a rough estimate of this process, and would have put forward this condition when signing a contract with the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Well, you watch!”

”Mr. Wang and Mr. Yao have only been at our 077 Machinery Military Factory for a short time, so they are still very unfamiliar with the factory area.”

Lin Chenran saw that Song Xiyun agreed.

The big stone in my heart slowly let go.

……

Haifu Province

After Lin Chenran explained all the matters in the factory to Song Xiyun, he rushed to the venue of the Yan State Navy’s seminar on the new type of missile destroyer.

This time, Lin Chenran brought along Yang Peidong, the chief designer of his own Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher, and several senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Everyone from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal came to the location of the seminar.

Mr. Zhang from the Yan Kingdom Navy specifically asked his guard to call Lin Chenran to his office.

”Knock knock knock!”

There was a gentle knock on the door. After a while, a cheerful response came from the office: ”Come in!”

Zhang Lao’s guard Xiao Wu enthusiastically ushered in Lin Chenran: ”Director Lin, please come in!!!”

Lin Chenran smiled slightly: ”Thank you!”

Then Lin Chenran sighed secretly, and walked into Mr. Zhang’s office with a nervous mood.

”Report, Mr. Zhang, I’m coming to report to you.”

Lin Chenran stood very straight with a slight smile on his face.

When Mr. Zhang heard the familiar voice, he looked up and glanced at the person in front of him. Then, a bright smile appeared on his face, and he put down the work in his hands:

”Lin boy, you’re here!”

”Come on, do it this way!”

Mr. Zhang pulled Lin Chenran to the sofa in his office and motioned for him to sit down.

After a while, guard Xiao Wu came in and brought two cups of hot tea.

”This is made from specially supplied tea leaves. Try it and see how it feels!”

Mr. Zhang entertained them warmly.

”What? Special tea?”

Lin Chenran was completely shocked.

I didn’t expect that Mr. Zhang would treat me with special tea.

There is only a limited amount of special tea supplied every year, and it is shared among so many leaders, so each person gets only a tiny bit.

Lin Chenran had tried the special tea in his grandfather’s study before.

At that time, my old man felt very distressed when he saw me drinking like a cow gnawing on a peony flower.

”Mr. Zhang, it’s passed! It’s passed!”

”It would be a waste for me to drink this special tea.”

Lin Chenran said he couldn’t bear it!

”Tea is for people to drink. Without your 077 Machinery Arsenal, our navy would not be able to add new warships in the short term.”

”I don’t have much in my office to entertain you, but this special tea is what I can offer.”

Mr. Zhang waved his hand to comfort Lin Chenran and signaled him not to be nervous.

Then he said jokingly: ”I heard from Old Man Lin before that when you were very young, you sneaked into his study and took a small portion of the special tea to cook tea eggs.”

”Are tea eggs cooked with special tea leaves delicious?”

Lin Chenran smiled bitterly and scratched his head subconsciously: ”How could that be? You must have heard it wrong.”

He certainly won’t admit it.

……

After a brief chat, the strangeness between the two sides disappeared immediately.

Then get into the topic.

Regarding the Yan Country Navy’s new missile destroyer.

Lin Chenran complained bitterly to Mr. Zhang.

”Mr. Zhang, as the 077 Mechanical Arsenal develops more and more rapidly, I have been busy taking off. Originally, I only sent the chief designer of our Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher and his team to participate in the Navy’s new missile destroyer seminar.”

But Mr. Zhang obviously didn’t buy into Lin Chenran’s tricks and immediately became serious: ”Busy?”

”I’m busy?”

”I have time to attend this meeting, don’t you?”

”Want to be lazy?”
