Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 151: A Close Look at the Charm of the Osprey Multi-Purpose Transport AircraftChapter 151: A Close Look at the Charm of the Osprey Multi-Purpose Transport Aircraft
Half an hour passed in a flash, and Yao Zhicheng suddenly stopped. He had finished explaining the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

Seeing everyone looking unsatisfied, Yao Zhicheng couldn’t help but wonder: Didn’t I explain it in detail enough? Why didn’t anyone respond?

At this moment, Lin Chenran was the first to applaud, and the others followed suit as if they had just woken up from a dream. For a moment, the conference room was filled with thunderous applause.

Seeing this, Yao Zhicheng showed a relieved smile on his face.

In fact, it wasn’t that Yao Zhicheng spoke badly, but that he spoke so well that everyone was immersed in it and couldn’t extricate themselves.

Especially when Yao Zhicheng introduced the unique design and powerful functions of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft, everyone’s eyes lit up.

This innovative design concept not only gives it powerful transportation capabilities, but also gives it more possibilities on the battlefield.

As the chief designer of this project, Yao Zhicheng undoubtedly demonstrated outstanding talent and profound professional knowledge.

His explanations were easy to understand, vivid and interesting, making people listen with great interest.

Yao Zhicheng originally came to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal with a bit of reluctance, but now his mentality has changed.

He began to realize that this might be a good place for him to display his talents.

Here, he can put his ideals into practice and contribute his strength to the country’s military cause.

As the applause gradually died down, the senior naval official Zhang smiled and said to Yao Zhicheng: ”Engineer Yao, your speech was really wonderful.”

”We have gained a deeper understanding of the Osprey multi-role transport aircraft.”

Yao Zhicheng smiled modestly, his heart filled with a sense of accomplishment.

……

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran led everyone out of the conference room of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and went to the testing site.

After arriving at the test site, everyone saw at a glance the ”protagonist” of this test - the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

Its majestic and domineering appearance is eye-catching. It stops there quietly, as if waiting for everyone’s inspection.

The Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is in a folded state at this time, but this does not affect its majesty at all.

The eyes of the Yan Country’s military leaders were sparkling with excitement and anticipation. They were very excited and couldn’t wait to observe this mysterious Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft up close.

Especially the senior officials of the Yan Kingdom Navy were full of interest in it.

Because this Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft meets the requirements for shipboard deployment very well, it is expected to become a powerful equipment for the Yan State Navy.

Lin Chenran looked at the excited expressions of the crowd with a smile. He knew that his design had successfully attracted the attention of the military.

He smiled brightly and thought to himself, ”I don’t believe that your military won’t be interested in the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft!”

At this time, Mr. Zhang took the lead in breaking the deadlock. His eyes were full of desire and expectation, as if a child was waiting for a gift.

He said excitedly, ”Lin, can we see the Osprey up close? I can’t wait to get a close look at this technologically advanced Osprey.”

Mr. Zhang pays more attention to the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft than the Z-20 heavy helicopter. This is not because the latter is not good enough. On the contrary, the Z-20 heavy helicopter has powerful performance and can adapt to various complex environments and mission requirements.

But for the Yan State Navy, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft has a unique appeal.

The main reason is that the space on a warship is relatively limited.

Every inch of space seems extremely precious.

Accommodating as many helicopters as possible in a limited space means increasing combat power.

Although the Z-20 heavy helicopter itself is also very outstanding, the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is more outstanding in terms of space saving and has a higher cost-effectiveness.

In certain scenarios, the Osprey multi-role transport aircraft better meets the needs of the Navy.

Lin Chenran smiled slightly and replied respectfully: ”Of course no problem, I was thinking of inviting everyone to watch and feel the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft up close.”

”Although Chief Engineer Yao just explained it in great detail, seeing is believing. Watching and feeling it up close will give you a different feeling.”

Lin Chenran led everyone to the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft in the ”sightseeing vehicle” prepared in advance. Just now, I couldn’t feel the hugeness of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft from a distance, but when it came in front of me, I felt the shock.

Is this the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft?
It’s really Thai cool!!!

Is this really a multi-functional transport aircraft that Yan Country can independently design, develop and manufacture?

All the senior military officials of Yan State present found it incredible.

Is this the transport plane they can have?

It was like a dream.

The previous Z-20 heavy-duty helicopter was modeled after the United States’ Chinook heavy-duty helicopter.

The Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft has no reference to any helicopter.

This was independently designed, developed and manufactured by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Mr. Zhang, Mr. Wei, and all the leaders, please take your time to visit the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft designed, developed and manufactured by our 077 Machinery Military Factory.”

”In about fifteen minutes, our test experiment will officially begin.”

Lin Chenran raised his left hand and glanced at the time on his watch.

A group of Yan State military leaders were like Granny Liu entering the Grand View Garden - they looked here and touched there.

After looking for a while, Mr. Wei and Mr. Zhang came to Lin Chenran’s side. The Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft really meets the needs of the Yan State military.

Especially the Yan Kingdom Navy!
”Lin, the price of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is not cheap!”

Mr. Wei asked nervously about the price of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft.

The main reason is that the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is more sci-fi than the Z-20 heavy helicopter.

Lin Chenran stated the price of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft very directly.

”2800 million Yanbi, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory only earns hard work money.”

When Lin Chenran revealed the price of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft, Mr. Zhang and Mr. Wei both gasped.

The price of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft is too expensive!

But it’s worth the price!
In particular, the sci-fi feel of the Osprey multi-purpose transport aircraft beats all existing helicopters.

It is the first existing foldable, vertical take-off and landing, short-distance take-off and landing transport aircraft.

It is particularly suitable for boarding ships.

”My two leaders, if the Osprey transport aircraft can be sold and the sales volume reaches a certain scale.”

”I can agree to lower the price and sell it to the military at the lowest price.”

Lin Chenran directly revealed his true feelings and spoke out his inner thoughts.

There is nothing that can be done about it, as the current Yan State military does not have sufficient military funds like those in later generations.

Warships and aircraft carriers were launched into the water like dumplings.

The Yan country’s military is now extremely poor.

2800 million Yan coins for an Osprey transport plane?

The Yan Kingdom’s navy has never been so extravagant.

The price of 5 planes is equal to that of a warship!
